Dragonspine stalked his prey quietly and efficiently, dodging behind curtains and ducking under tables. At times, come just close enough to avoid the sweeping green tail. He leered insanely at the world in general as he followed. The target hardly even glanced in his direction, didn't suspect anything at all. This was fun!

He wondered how long he could keep this up, but the perfect opportunity arose when some woman and her child stopped to talk to his prey. With deadly swiftness, Dragonspine dove out of his hiding place, grabbing the hem of Ves's white labcoat, bringing it over his head and yanking it down over his eyes in one fluid motion before skittering away while giggling maniacally.

Louis drew back well behind Anne and burried his face into the back of her leg, tiny fingers grasping at her dress.

Anne frowned a little, and smiled at Ves. "Oh, I'm sorry...he's so terribly shy, you know." Sidestepping a little, she exposed Louis, who yelped quietly and jumped behind her again. Sighing and smiling apologetically to Ves, she held her hand out. "Here, I'll give it to him."

Taking the large chunk of candy, Anne smiled thankfully. "Oh, thank you, I'm sure he'll love it...once he stops hiding." She shrugged a little and nodded down to Louis. "Come on, honey, we'll go check out the games, okay? Maybe you'll make a friend..."


Louis, clinging to Anne's leg, shook his head wildly. "No games," He whispered, in a mild panic.


"Oh, come on, look! Apple bobbing! I'm sure you'd be excellent at that..." Anne told him cheerfully, taking his hand and pushing the candy into it gently, then leading him over to where an unfamiliar-looking boy was having his turn.

Vixeneye almost smiled as she watched one of the mentors admiring her work...almost. Gloria Vixeneye did not often smile. She did, however, lower her glasses to get a better look at the girl. Hm.. a good amount of power. She could see it hovering around the child with her yellow eye. Yes. "She has potential." she said aloud, approaching the pair of them. "but will she learn to use it?" Vixeneye motioned with the tip of her finger and one of the ghosts came floating down to Glaceau's level. "It's a simple little illusionary spell. What do you think? Would you like to learn to make these someday?" she asked, generating a ghostly fish that swam through the air around them with a vave of her hand.

Caleb was growing rapidly tired of losing the bobbing for apples game and, now with a wet face, glanced around to find something else to do. He saw several other kids wandering about, including one pretty white birdie. The boy grinned and went to get a (much) closer look. As in.... Caleb's face was now right in poor Faigle's.

Caleb grinned at the girl... until a very hard thing came flying across to hit him in the face! "Owww!" The boy exclaimed, grumbling at the chaos that then occured. "Owowow!" Caleb called out as Faigle catapulted forwards into him and the two landed in a tangled mess.

Kaden quickly walked over to where the two were and paused for a moment to see if the kids could untangle themselves without help. Or to see if they even wanted help.
