He scoffed as he continued to walk toward home. Her preaching was very similar to what his mother had told the family. It was obvious that Tufah didn't seem to keep that sort of thing a secret... he will have to talk to her some time about it, telling others about them. He sighed roughly and pushed on.
"You shouldn't make promises you can't keep, Pride Lander. We may not even take our rightful place again, maybe we do. Who can tell, I could care less about it. As long as they suffer then I will be alright with it," he scoffed off again.
"Go home, stop following me."

"Alright, Mat," Noyana said, knowing that if she pushed much further he'd be mad at her for a long time. Stubborn as she was, she knew when the time was to not stand up against someone anymore "I'll see you later, though, I promise."
Instead of turning around and heading home, though, she simply stopped walking and sat down, still facing the same way she had been when she was in motion. She flicked her ear to rearrange the clashingly-bright purple feather... She'd have a general idea of where his family lived this way, though she acted more interested with the repositioning of her feather, her attention, however, was fully focused at the corner of her eye.

Mat paused mid-step, took a glance back with a slight smirk, and continued on. Shaking his head, he rolled his eyes as if he was wondering what was up with that female. Nowhere else has he known a female to act so stubborn and nosey. Perhaps Sarafina or Tufah, but not like this. Though, he shutter to think at the time when they will meet again. What then? She was going to be more bothersome than ever.
Taking another glance back from the corner of his eye, he noticed that she was still there, looking off somewhere and that exilerant feather of hers flicking around. What was she still doing? Did he not just say go home? He growled because just then he noticed something. Their difference in height, was it possible that she was... No, couldn't be, she could not be older than him, that would not be right! He was the male, bigger, stronger, and better than females! She cannot be older than him then that would be one less thing to better her at! This has to be fixed... but later.
Turning back, "I said go home, Noyana!" he roared back in his immature voice before heading over the hill and away to home.
