Uggh, it was still wriggling. Adrian had no idea why bugs even existed, they were disgusting creatures and served no good purpose except for maybe as food for frogs. And frogs were pretty disgusting in their own right too.
"How could you want to have a bug on you?! I don't care what it eats, a bug is a bug, and all bugs are useless and disgusting," Adrian grimaced, still not convinced of the millipede's cuteness.
Blaaaargh, it was making his skin scrawl! He could feel it's little legs on his arms even though it wasn't even on him!

Ana gave Adrian a dirty look, placing the shovel on the ground and putting her hands on her hips.
"Oh yeah?" she said hotly. "Without bees to pollinate flowers, we wouldn't have fruit, and then all the plants and trees would die off. Without spiders, nasty things like mosquitoes carryin' diseases would overrun the planet! How...how can you say something like that? They probably look at us and think we're as gross as you think they are!"
Clearly, Ana was an attentive watcher of the Discovery Channel.

Sadly, to Adrian, the promises of the death of civilization that would come if it weren't for insects had no effect on him. Being an emo kid, he had an inherent dislike of humanity and doomsday didn't really faze him.
"Who cares? We can build robots to do that stuff. Besides, bugs are too stupid to think. That millipede wouldn't even notice if it was dead. Look, I'll show you," Adrian grumbled, deciding to get rid of that loathsome bug himself. He moved forward to try and swat the thing off Ana's arm, which was rather hard since she was trying to protect it.

Ana snapped. Teeth bared in a snarl that would have made a rabid rottweiler proud, she sidestepped Adrian's attempt to hurt her precious millipede and slapped him smartly across the face.
"Dig your own stupid ditch!" she growled, bending down to pick up something from the pile of dirt she'd made. "And here! Swat this!"
And she threw a large unearthed spider right into Adrian's hair.

"Ow!"
She didn't have to hit him. Adrian grumbled something under his breath, something that Amryx would probably smack him for if she heard him saying it, but he wasn't that bothered by it. It actually didn't hurt compared to Tango's punch, and he couldn't hit her back cuz she was a girl. Unfortunately.
But then she threw the spider in his hair.
Spider. In his hair.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"
For the next few moments, Adrian was furiously slapping at his hair and flailing while running around like a chicken with it's head cut off and replaced with a horrible, hairy, dirty, eight legged monstrosity from Hell that was called the spider.

And Anastasia, walking away calmly with a little millipede perched on her arm, smiled serenely and hummed as she left Adrian behind.

After a few minutes of screaming, flailing, and brutally slapping at his hair, Adrian managed to get the spider out of his hair. And stomped on it a few times. And then hit it's remains with the shovel a few more times just to make sure it was dead.
Panting, Adrian looked around for wherever that girl was. She was long gone, but she was also doomed. Adrian wasn't going to forget this. Not only did she ruin his hair, but she did it with a disgusting SPIDER, a fresh one from the DIRT!
"Anastasia," He growled, shaking his shovel in the air. "YOU'RE DOOMED! I'M GONNA GET YOU FOR THIS! I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE IF I HAVE TO!"
... Well, maybe not that long. That took too much effort.
