"Yes for a time, though I' not sure if he uses it for that reason anymore," K'Anatak said thinking of his brother. "You see, my brother, we got separated from our mother when we were young, our father wasn't around, and he took one of my feathers while I was sleeping, and has it hanging from his ear now, we were cubs then yes, but he said it reminded him of our mother, and he wanted his terrible dreams of what might have happened to her to cease."
K'Anatak missed his mother so.
"Though they passed on, the nightmares, he uses the feather differently, since its still a part of me, he searches me out, for not so great intentions, but thats a story for another time. It could work Wahabu, you just have to have faith in yourself my friend."

Habu looked attentively at his friend, surprisingly awake at that moment- something about the conversation and seeing his friend had somehow caught his attention, this was an important conversation. He glanced downward when he mentioned something happening to their mother.. he could semi-relate to that, though he knew what happened to her. She'd just left.
The point of the story, though, was something else entirely. His brother used it, and it's connection to K'A somehow- and he had used it to help his nightmares.. but since Habu's were not quite real nightmares, would it still work? It would be worth a shot.
"Oh," he murmured, nodding and glancing back up at K'A.

K'Anatak chuckled and outstretched a wing to tap Wahabu on his head, "Do not worry my friend, if they still plague you after this, we can try other things, you should be able to rest well, and be assured, we will find a way," he said with a smile, trying to have Wahabu be at ease, K'Anatak knew it had to be hard for him, quite hard, after everything Wahabu had been through, he deserved a break now, he deserved happiness.

Wahabu shook his head at the tap from K'A's wing, smiling at his old friend. It was helpful to know that if this didn't actually work, K'A would be willing to continue helping him until it stopped- at least until Habu was convinced he had it under control.
"Ok," he nodded, "Thank you.."

"Its no problem at all Habu, just try and be well for me," he said with a smile, pulling his wing back, standing, ruffling his feathers and peering at his old friend. It was amazing how mortals grew so fast, if only K'Anatak could stop time and rewind back to when Habu was so little. He smiled at that thought, who knew, perhaps Wahabu would have cubs of his own here, and K'Anatak could visit them as well as their father.
"Call for me if you are troubled again Habu, alright?" he said with a smile, and then pushed from the soil beneath his paws, taking flight. His extra set of wings on his forearms kept him balanced while he carried himself into the clouds.
Hopefully Habu would rest well tonight.

Habu smiled in response to K'A's smile and realized that right now was when they would be parting- and perhaps that was good, Habu would have to test out the feather theory. He watched as K'A took off, only calling out one final goodbye. He would give it a shot, anything was worth a try and he trusted K'A as much as he trusted anyone else- perhaps even more than he currently trusted either of his parents, considering recent events, even if this was the first time in awhile since he saw K'A.
When he could no loner see K'A in the sky, Habu turned back towards home to see if he could get any rest now.
