Bryna heard Al's "oof" and turned to look. "Oh. Sorry? Can you get up?" She waited both for him and for Ed but... no answer from Nii-chan. Hmm. She let her mind flick over the building toward the room and... there. He was there. Sleeping again. Blah. "Aaahh... Nii-chan fell asleep! No good!"
She nudged Al with her nose. "C'mon! We'll go get him." And then she trotted inside, down the hall, to the door to Ed's room, opened it, and bounded across the floor inside. She peered at the sleeping couple on the bed for a moment before... "NII-CHAN! I BROUGHT A SUPRISE! WAAAAAKE UUUUUP!!!" She hopped up and started bouncing on the bed. For insurance, you know. >>

"I'm alright..." Alphonse replied with a hint of pain in his voice as he slowly got up again, and then shook himself off. "I can get up again."
He stiffened as Bryna nudged him with her nose - not at all used to it. But he quickly shook it off again and followed her, becoming hopeful once more.
At least until they got to the doorway, anyway. He lowered his head, timidly staring inside the open door as he watched Bryna dissapear inside. He felt somewhat awkward just... intruding in to somebody else's house without being invited.
He had reason to be here though. The dirty-blonde haired youth stood back for a moment, before cautiously moving inside himself. He had boldly walked entered the Gate only a short time ago, so why should he be so afraid to enter a harmless looking residence?
He sighed as he glanced up the hallway, already thinking he had lost the girl. At least, until he heard that incredibly loud yell again.
"I'm never going to get used to that..." He flinched, mumbling to himself as he pinned his ears back. At least he knew where she was, now...
Alphonse made his way up the hallway, standing in the door. What he saw next made him raise his eyebrows. That girl was now... jumping on a pile of blankets? He couldn't help but lightly laugh at that.

Edward Elric was always a deep sleeper, but nothing could sleep through that. Bryna's yell alone was enough to make every hair on his body stand on end. Golden eyes flying open and limbs flailing. Her jumping on the bed only helping to throw Edward off of it. The short alchemist tumbling to the floor in his started flailing with a shout of surprise.
The thud of a body and the clunk of metal could be heard as he hit the oaken floor. Before a series of growlings while Ed, amazingly quickly, scaled the bed to pop his head over the edge again... and looking quite fierce. "BRYNA! WHAT THE HELL!" He was trying to sleep you know! DX

To say the study-raised witch was unaccustomed to such a rousing would be a severe understatement. Although she had been subjected to a few rude wake-up calls on those times she had deigned to fall asleep outside of the Library inside such 'attacks' were more than just forbidden. It was often dangerous to wake a sleeping wizard.
"Yelp!" Having already slipped from the fullness of her sleep she was perhaps a bit more awake than her teen-mate, training undertaken with the SeeD Zell taking into effect as well as habits formed by having wings and a wand. Her wings furled and she leapt to a defensive fighting position, ebony wand clutched in her left paw, the words of a spell ready in mind and mouth, the mythril pendant Ed had made for her swinging against the crimson fur of her chest. Then she recognized their 'attacker', whether from visual or Edward's shout uncertain. Her small crimson body relaxed, brown wings slowly settling. "Goodness, Bryna! You shouldn't scare us like that!"

Bryna, for all her yelling and jumping, was absolutely serious for once. Which was more than just a little strange for her. She just shook her head at both of them and pointed toward the door. "Look." Then she took Ed's head in both of her front paws and turned to the door herself just for good measure. "I told you! Suprise!"
((I have to take Rich to work soon, I'll be gone between 30 minutes and an hour, probably. You have my permission to pass Bryna over until I get back, ok? o3o))

So much yelling and chaos... Alphonse wondered to himself if he should get a pair of earmuffs. He stood outside the doorway, peeking inside, finding himself both nervous and timid at the unfamiliarity and loud noises.
Then, he blinked, rubbing his eyes with a gloved paw for a moment, not believing what he saw inside the room at first. He had seen the blonde-haired Kitsusagi in the red coat tumble out of the bed, and he had heard the familiar loud metallic clunk of automail limbs hitting the floor. The yelling was definitely characteristic of his brother, but... he was one of these strange Kitsu... sagi animals, too? Then again, what had he been expecting?
He was unsure whether he should run, or charge up to to the other male and flatten him with a hug. Instead, he continued to stand back, still unsure of himself.
"Brother...?" He said finally, uncertainty etching into his voice. He felt his heartrate increase, and his ears raised. His expression was hopeful.
"Is that really you?"

Hearing a voice... Edward froze. Thus it took Bryna little difficulty to turn his head. But he already knew. He could have lived a thousand life times... and he would never forget that voice. His fierce expression gone in an instant and becoming clouded with all other sorts of emotions. Surprise, disbelief, to name a few.
With his head turned in that direction, he saw him. This time, he wasn't just in his dreams... but there in the flesh... and as one of them.
"Al?" Ed's voice breaking slightly and he dropped himself to the floor again. Ears went back.. as he had to wonder if this was real. Golden eyes full of emotion. "Yeah... its me." Words couldn't tell how much he had missed his little brother.

"Al?" Liliana repeated, her green eyes crinkling in thoughtful confusion even as she turned to see what Edward saw. She did a double-take, sitting down rather forcefully in shock at the similarity between the brothers. Oh there were clear differences, Lily could see that right off but still the similarities were amazing. He looked similar & different to the Alphonse that she had met at Bellamue's place as well, but close enough that she needed no other explanation.
"Al... Alphonse?" Another blink and then her eyes brightened, sparkling happily. With a little hop she went to Edward's side and rubbed against him. "Your brother! Oh Edward!"
Then that green smiling gaze went to Alphonse, peeking in the doorway. "We've all been keeping an eye out... and Bryna found you?" Her expression was warm, welcoming, accepting. White and gold tails swayed casually behind her. This would make Edward so happy... so of course she was happy too.

Initially, Alphonse could only stare back at the other blonde-haired Kitsusagi, burnt-golden eyes widened. He only was vaguely aware of the fact that his back legs were shaking, but he didn't seem to care about that at all. He let out a low breath in response and tried to speak, but his throat had closed up, making it sound like a whimper. He quickly covered his mouth to keep any more sounds from escaping him - he hadn't meant to make that noise at all! He was relieved, confused, and curious all at once. Most of all, though - immensely happy. Too many emotions at once, bearing down on him. It was beginning to overwhelm him.
"Brother!!"
He charged forwards, causing a chair to crash over in his swift movement past it. It didn't register in his mind at all. Absolutely nothing would have been able to stop him reaching his older brother at that moment. He promptly tackled Edward with a crushing hug. He felt his eyes begin to sting and he squeezed them shut tightly, although he didn't seem to care about that at all.
"Brother! It's really you! Oh, I'm so happy to see you!!" He exlaimed loudly, laughing. "Have you really been here all this time!? Have you been OK? How long have you been here?" He had an absolute bombardement of questions for his elder brother now. Although, at this moment in time, he was just happy to see him.

Expression softened when he heard Al's little whimper. A gentle smile on his maw as he looked his brother over... still not quite able to believe that he was standing right there. Before he could manage to get any more words out, though.. Alphonse came flying at him.
Golden eyes widened in the impending tackle. The elder brother finding himself on his back in a bone crushing hug, knocking the wind out of him. "Man... I sure am glad you're not a huge metal can anymore." Otherwise, he could only imagine the pain involved in that hug. Edward then laughed and hugged his brother back at all the questions that poured from Alphonse's mouth.
"Hold on Al... I'll answer all your questions... but first I want you to meet someone!" Grinning ear to ear, Ed tilted his head back to look up at his mate, "Al.. I'd like you to meet, Lilianna." The young alchemist practicly glowed. He had dreamed of this day... when he would finally be reunited with his little brother. It was a dream come true.

She knew that look. Hemi gave her that look sometimes. Not of course with the time behind it... though when she had returned from traveling with Edward it was close. Giggling to herself Liliana stepped away, watching with over-bright eyes at the brother's reunion. The crimson furred female sat intentionally this time, wrapping happy tails around her paws though they did not appear to want to stay still as the tips flicked.
This was so beautiful... so wonderful... and Edward looked so happy.
Then he was looking at her. With those golden eyes of his. Liliana blushed to be included in this, in this moment. Not that it was visible through her crimson fur, but there was a hint of 'oh! I'm being made attention!' in her green eyes mixed with in the happineess & joy & pride & honor.
"Hello... Alphonse." She said softly, almost shyly, as she half lowered her eyes and gave a small little bow.

Bryna had watched it all in one of her typical bouts of random silence, but now she finally hopped down off the bed. She actually hopped, and actually landed, paws coming to rest on the floor as she sat on the other side of Alphonse from Ed. She leaned over, whispering conspiratorially, "Lily cousin and Nii-chan are together." Then she nodded solemnly and trotted over to give Lily a... relatively reserved hug. Bryna was known for tackling people with about as much enthusiasm and Al had just shown Ed, but Lily wasn't really the tackle sort. "Cousin's back! Nii-chan's back! And I found surprise Al! Today is good." :3

When Alphonse opened his eyes again, he discovered that his tackling hug had knocked his elder brother onto his back. His eyes promptly widened and he lowered his head, apologetic.
"S-Sorry, brother! I didn't mean to knock you over! I guess I don't know my own strength." He remained in the hug for another few moments before finally moving off him. He had to admit, that in doing so, he felt mildly dissapointed. It had felt so good to finally find his brother and hug him like that. He would have gone on his adventures all over again in a heartbeat if he had to.
"Pardon?" He blinked, following his brother's line of sight to Liliana. "Oh, um, hello there, Liliana." He formally bowed to the female, straightening himself upright after a moment, giving her a friendly smile. "My name is Alphonse, but... I guess you already know that, huh?"
He was about to say something else, but blinked, pinning his ears back and blinked at the new information he had received from Bryna.
"You two are... together?" He wasn't sure how he felt about that.

Finally getting into a sitting position, Ed just laughed merrily at his brother's apology. Although he soon noticed something. "Don't sweat it... you are... bigger than me... after all." Erp. Sweatdrop. His little brother wasn't so... little anymore! Even when not as a suit of armor!
However, Al's reaction to he and Lily being together... brought a sympathetic smile to his brother's confusion. "Yeah... a lot has happened since I came here." Edward put a paw around his brother's shoulders, "She... really means a lot to me" he said in a much softer tone. He didn't know where he'd be without Lilianna, but he could certainly understand how his brother might feel.
"So how did you get here?" he then asked of Alphonse. That one kitsu.. what was her name... had told him that Al wasn't here yet. And Alphonse was already full grown... so surely he couldn't have hatched here like Ed had.

Liliana winced slightly, almost expecting Ed to fly off the handle or something when he realized his 'little' brother was not in comparison when it came to size & relaxing when he did not. At the same time... Edward was just too cute. ^_^
The witch smiled at Alphonse's bow and smile. But as his ears pinned back she worried, wincing now that Bryna had so carelessly tossed that information out. She was glad of all those things too... but then she could not expect tact of Bryna.
Edward's soft tone and the words that he spoke in it did much to soothe the winged female but she fretted silently. What if Alphonse did not like her? Would she be in the brothers' way? That was something she did not want at all. Liliana decided she would have to be careful, not of her mate's brother... but that she would not get in the way.
So she smiled gently, head tilted curiously to await Alphonse's answer for she wondered it too.
