-Lundy laughed and looked up at Rome in wonder. 'What are Tigers?' He wonderd curiously. Lost in thought he didn't notice Rome got of of him. Yelping quickly, he realized that he was being dragged my his ear. He curlled his feet in and whimperd all the way to the van.-

"Yup," Adrian nodded to Monkey, "I've been looking forward to it. I haven't been able to take any of my kids to the zoo yet, so this is something special for Schye."
Schye looked a bit alarmed when he heard Rome mention the tigers. He glanced up at Adrian worriedly, wondering if Rome had chosen to look up tigers, too. What would they do if they'd both chosen the same animal?
He made his way over to the van carefully, peering inside and trying to figure out a good place for him and Adrian to sit together.

Rome dropped his jaw. "What are tigers? Tigers are only the tightest animal ever! They growl... And they have stripes..... Annnd yeah! They're awesome! I have to show you them when we get there! And the polar bar-es are tight too, and and the penguins!" He started to get excited and started growling a little as he spoke.
Monkey nodded. "Ah it is amazing. You'll have fun. Kat and I loved taking Rome there. Well I should realllly be off. Rome, Lundy, I'll see you two later. Be good, Rome." With a laugh he got into the car and started driving, adjusting his tie and using his knees to steer (something he only did when he was alone in the car).

-Lundy started to bounce and shake. He couldn't help but blurting out.- "PENGUINS!! I love penguins! I seen them when mum took me to the aquarium! They are the best!" -Lundy nodded to himself. He loved the penguins. He wanted to do his little report on them.- "Tigers sound..like you!" -Lundy giggled and pointed at Rome.-

((Sorry for the wait- Kep and I were busy with the growths. ^_^ Which, by the way, will be certed tomorrow, and the few who have left to grow will do it then. So technically, your SM's are still children. heart This will be their last elementary school experience.))
After Tam came and dropped Milla off, Pove made sure everyone was safely in the van, and told the students (and any parents that were still hanging about) that anyone who wasn't there yet would meet them at the zoo, if at all. ((Also known as, if you're just coming in, please feel free to join in. ^_^))
The Barton Zoo wasn't far- only a ten minute drive, and when Pove pulled up to the parking lot, the SM's all spilled out of the van and stood huddled around her on the sidewalk.
"Alright ladies and gentlemen... now there's a few things you have to remember when you're in the zoo. Pick a buddy now, and stay with them ALL the time. If I see any of you without a buddy at any time, your parents are going to get a call. Safety first. Secondly, we're here to have fun, so make sure you enjoy yourselves!" Alright, come on!
((Alright- free rp for a while. ^_~ Please have your SM inform the class about their animal when we reach it- but then again, I'm not going to say when we reach what- it's entirely up to you. Also known as- first come first serve- whoever posts first with their rp is the one we 'get to first'.))

Rome jumped out of the van and stood to the left of Miss Pove, tugging Lundy next to him.
"Totally my buddy!" He knew exactly where the tigers were. Just incase someone happened to beat him to the tigers he also was prepared to talk about a couple of different animals.
"Yay I can't wait! Animal Planet is so paying off!"

"Well..that wasn't a lon- OMF!" -Lundy was cut off from the tug of Rome. Giggling, he nodded. Togers..Rome's favorite Animal. Lundy had never been to the zoo, but spotted the penguins right away. He shook with exitement and bounced up and down.- "PENGUINS! Hurry Rome! We need to go see the penguins!"

Pove raised a blue eyebrow at Lundy. "We'll get to the penguins next. Right now, it's time for Rome to tell us about his animal." She didn't say any more than that, just gestured to the little blue skull monkey; her authority was absolute in the way that small, pixie-ish women never would be otherwise, if they weren't teachers. Something about the position gave them power, an undeniable hold over the young. ...Or perhaps it was just that they had star stickers and weren't afraid to use them..
"Go ahead, Rome."

Rome grinned and pointed to the tigers, puffing his chest out proud to be first. Yay for tigers being in the front of the zoo!
"Alright, my animal is the tiger. They were origionally found in Chicke-.. No wait, in Turkey and southern Asia and on some wierd little islands. But now they are virging extinktion and live in tropical forests, evergreen forests, riverine woodlands, mangrove swamps, grasslands, savannas, and rocky country. They migrate and... 4 of 5 of their sences, not including taste are better then humans Uhh... They hunt alone but share what they kill... Uhh they are either orange with black stripes or white with black stripes or ultra rarely blue with black stripes. So pretty... They have the blue ones here too. Annnnd... mostly are awake in nighttime and sleep in daytime. Any questions?"
Shaking off the feeling that he had overdone things Rome grinned and puffed out his chest a little, enjoying the spotlight.

-Lundy clapped at the end of Rome's presentation, then looked up at miss Pove. She said He could go next, so he quickly scamperd the short distance to the penguin area, dragginr Rome along with him. He took a deep breath then began to speak-
"Penguins, my most bestest animal in the world, most of them live in the cold, unlike me. They live in the south Pole, oposite from Santa Clause. They eat lots of fish, and can't fly. But they are birds! Even if they can't fly...Most of them are black and white and they come from eggs, like us! And umm..umm..They like to swim alot, but I don't like to swim..and yeah!"
-He prnced where he stood, then turned to press his face and his paws to the glass, watching the penguins.-

Since there hadn't really been anyone else to buddy up with, Adrian and Schye stayed together, Adrian quipping that this way Miss Pove could easily chew them out if they got separated.
They had gotten distracted by a duck pond when they first walked in, and before they'd realized it, Rome had claimed the tigers and gave his little speech about them. Schye looked disappointed, staring at the ground, which prompted Adrian to reach down and pet him sympathetically. "Maybe next time, eh?" he said softly.
Schye didn't respond, following after the others and listening quietly during Lundy's presentation.
After that, they wandered around a bit, and Adrian tried his hardest to cheer his boy up. It didn't seem to be helping at all.
"Hey, look, cheetahs," Adrian pointed.
Schye blinked at them with interest. He knew a little bit about them... so he said hesistantly, "They're... the fastest land mammal on Earth. And they can't roar, but they chirp..." One of the cheetahs in the pit demonstrated just as he said this. "They don't do well in acti--captivity," he continued, stumbling over the word, "and they're endangered. That means there aren't many left where they live. Lions and hyenas usually... threaten them. And stuff." He hid his face behind Adrian's leg as he finished.
