She let out a deep breath. She hadn't even realized she was holding her breath until that moment. She was relieved ...except for one little thing: she was supposed to pick out a daughter? "Do you have one who goes off by herself all the time?" Hopefully that would narrow it down.

Nkechi wouldn't know how to pick either. But, following the other female's lead she nodded, "Yes...Mirija goes off by herself a lot. She's always running about even if no one's with her." How this narrowd the whole thing down was beyond her. But trusting in the other mother's wisedom was far easier then musing over it herself.

Laini nodded in an all-knowing way. The lioness seemed clueless so she saw no harm in applying a generalization to the matter. "Girls who wander off on their own sometimes don't interact very well. Finding her someone is perhaps the best option." The girl had a pretty name too ...not that it factored much into her plan. "I believe Ori would be rather good for her." She nodded again. "I believe it's really for the best."

"Really?" Nkechi murmured, as if the new information as surprising. But she lapped it up anyway, since from her experience everyone else always knew more then she did. "I never realized," she said more to herself then anyone in particular. Then she nodded brightly to Laini, as if she hadn't just drifted off into her own little world for a second, "Alright!"

Laini beamed, not being able to hold back her happiness at this success, even if it was with a total stranger. But she couldn't just leave it there. That would be just rude. She needed to say something, be friendly. If they had been human she might have hugged her. "Well, I'm glad we agree!" She glanced around, searching for something to say. "And your home is very lovely!"
