Yondaime IS Naruto's father (I'm on chapter 456). As for Naruto's mother...well, she supposedly became a missing nin...so, she may be in the Akatsuki. I personally think it's Deidara because Yondaime fell in love with a woman he was about to kill in the rock/leaf war. It didnt show her face, but i dunno, just brainstorming... sweatdrop

I said something along these lines a couple months ago in the manga/anime discussion thread. I had some good ideas for give aways, such as the fact that Naruto was chosen for the fox to be in him, not anyone else. The 4th probably though it wouldn't be fair to impart that kind of burden on anyone besides his own offspring. that's just one idea.

Brother? No. Father... it's debateable. Since, you know, he looks so young and everything... or was that just his past self? How old was the 4th when he died? But yeah, I have thought if they were related.

In the episode where Jiraya has Naruto sign the frog summoning scroll, his name is next to the fourth's, and they both have the same family name, so definately related, probably his father.
