Kaoru smiled softly when Nakamura took a moment to catch herself. She had that...look about her again as she had before. He wasn't completely aware of what the look meant....but he had to admit...he kinda liked it. Kaoru hadn't felt the cold of her skin as he was too busy getting happy off of kissing her cheek. The clatter of the kunai falling to the floor caught the dark haired man's attention and he bent down to pick it up. He placed it on the other side of him so that she wouldn't have a chance to drop it and have the sound ring in his ears again. "S-Sorry...did I do something bad?" He asked her quietly, putting his hand over her right one that was placed on her cheek. She seemed to be a bit out of it for a bit longer before saying anything. He'd noticed a change in her eyes for a split second and stared at them curiously. Kaoru then heard her voice and looked back at the whole of her face, noticed that he'd still had his hand on her's. He took his hand back and laid it by his side. Perhaps he was...too comfortable with doing such things.

His deep chocolate eyes watched her as she spoke. "I'd never use people against you. Hell, the only people I have is Hikaru and I can assure you, he's way too into flirting with girls than attacking anyone. Besides, I'm a bit worried your people would be used against me," Kaoru refered to her wolves and that wretched beast, Kusari. To hear that she couldn't get close to anyone made Kaoru feel a bit detached. He closed his eyes and leaned back a bit. Guess he couldn't get closer to her afterall... "Sorry to hear that...I would have liked to be your friend. Well, the offer still stands if you wish to take it." He gave her a faint smile to cover himself. "Why I came to Taki? Well...not much of a story there. I always wanted to get away from the family...to make my own way...Nowhere else would take some twin ANBUs and so...we came here...been about a year. I just...wanted make a splash my own way...but...doesn't seem like there's much here to do that. Few places to go...Perhaps more places should be built? I'd be happy to offer my assistance," Kaoru said with a bit of a bow.

Zenjin? That was one of her wolven companions isn't it? He waved his hand in a way that showed it didn't matter. "It's just him...uh...her...hm...Zenjin looking out for you afterall. Nothing to worry about. I must say though....I'm a bit sad I couldn't have you completely to myself without interference from...Zenjin." Kaoru closed his eyes for a second and brought his right hand up to run through his soft black hair. It wasn't something he had control over...and he really shouldn't even worry about it...but still. The thought of having Nakamura to himself made him a bit giddy.

Kaoru watched Nakamura with curiosity as she took a few moments before shaking her head. The dark haired man held a small smile; happy that he hadn't done anything to make her dislike him. His breath labored when she looked at him with those eyes. He knew he wasn't under any sort of jutsu and he definitly didn't feel as though she put any sort of seduction type things on him...So why could he find that he couldn't look away...? He finally got his mind back when she spoke. Perhaps he should make it so it wasn't quiet anymore. If it happened again it would just make it so that he couldn't breathe. He caught onto the last part of her words and struggled to remember what it was she had said first. "I'd never do that to you, Nakamura-sama." He closed his eyes when she mentioned Kusari. "I'd hate to think about whether why watch you durring personal moments." He groaned at the thought of it. To invade a woman's privacy and to track, stalk, and look into her mind...What disgusting things to do.

His attention was caught away from his thoughts when she called his name. His eyebrow raised when she explained to him about his brother. "He's a caring man. He wouldn't allow anyone to be in pain or be in danger. He's friendly as well. He's taken many people's hands before to keep them calm in places of danger. I see meaning behind it." Kaoru was just oblivious to everything at this point. His brother had too much of a kind record for him to believe anything else. Or...he just didn't understand what it was that Nakamura was saying. Besides, Hikaru had just been speaking about which he liked better, panties or bras, before they'd met up with Hiro and Nakamura at the spring. In Kaoru's mind, Hikaru was nothing but a skirt chaser. Amazing he hadn't tried to go after any of the girls, especially Nakamura, in the village.

Kaoru had turned to the side as she spoke, examining the room once more. "Then do nothing. If I was your friend then you'd know that I wouldn't allow you to do such a thing. You'd have less trouble if you just left me." He smirked and looked back at her as she began to speak of his brother once more. Hikaru is a man himself, of course he'd like to be around men since it was normally just Kaoru and himself. He was making a new friend in Hiro...no real big deal. "Defend?" Kaoru said as an eyebrow raised. "I'd do nothing of the sort. If anything I'd throw him to the dogs...or in your case, wolves, before defending him." Kaoru looked away once more, his fingers finding the kunai from before next to him.

Kaoru visibly jumped when she screamed the name of some man, or so he thought. The name was familiar, yet slipped his mind. He smiled to himself as she suddenly changed her mind about finding him/her and sat back down. "Nice to see I mean more to you at the moment than this Amadeus." He had to force down a small laugh as he leaned back and relaxed a bit. It wasn't as though he'd be able to just as easily get out of this place as he did getting in. Too bad he didn't know any fire jutsus....If he did he could just melt the ice. But...then he'd need to take into account the entire place melting and enclosing him forever. He shivered a bit as the cold finally got to him. His thick skin momentarily breached by the cool of the ice beneath him. He shifted in his spot to make him less uncomfortable.

Kaoru noticed the difference in Nakamura and suddenly felt bad for having ever spoken. "I'm sorry I said that..." He slowly let his hand touch her's after having a bit of inner conflict about it. He raised her hand so that the back of it touched his lips softly before placing her hand on his cheek. "I never meant to say anything to make you sad. Please forgive me Nakamura-sama." His dark eyes looked at her with such guilt it was unbelievable. He hadn't wanted to bring up something that would end up making her speak like that. After a moment he let her hand go and bowed his head a bit. "Sorry, I've once more touched you without permission..." He stood and stretched a bit. "Well...I really enjoy speaking to you in private....hopefully I'll get the chance again. It's easier talking to you when you are alone with me than trying to speak to you with that....man....hanging around...I wish to meet this Zenjin whenever it is convenient for you." He smiled and bowed to her once more.

She was rather shocked that he had managed to hear her inner thoughts that had leaked out from her mouth. It wasn't as if she wanted him to hear them. It was an intimate moment from within, her actual feelings having the mask removed from them. The mask, that she had put on her emotions the moment she put the headband upon her shoulder to declare herself a shinobi. "Don't be... if that's how you feel, you shouldn't apologize for your understandings." she answered, her voice coming through her mouth with some backbone enforcing it. She was meak for that moment, and that moment alone. Her hand felt his face, but no warmth was ever felt. Only cold reverberated from her hand, etching it's pattern onto his cheek with her natural frosty touch. "You'll get the chance if it's needed. After all, a Kage's work is never done." she answered, taking her hand back in order for her to form her seals. The ice wall that kept them locked inside, lowered into the ground as if it had melted. However, it was merely her ice manipulation of her already made ice.

"You can exit the caves through the north route. You should wind up just outside of the Great Tree's base. I really should get back to work. I'll talk to you later.... and don't worry about the ice wall." she said to him in a rather quick manner upon jumping to her feet. She walked past the ice walled cavern, and gave Kaoru a look over her shoulder. "It will seal itself upon your exit." she added with a wink before running to the east of the caverns. She knew her way around them and would easily make it out to Amadeus' office in no time flat.

Wrath tool large srides through the cavern, bobbing side to side to avoid the stalagmites and stalactites. He could enjoy this place as a hide out. It was damp, meaning that there was water and it was well concealed. The only problem about this place was that it was cold. Wrath didn't care for the cold very well. He was so used to the wet humid climate of Amegakure. Wrath kept on until he found an exit hole through a large tree.

(Alright... I have no clue if anyone has actually left, but to prevent myself from falling behind... I'm gonna post as if I'm following Armedeus...)

Saya sprinted lightly to catch up... the mission ahead would be wonderful! Taking a deep breath, she dove into the massive lake and swam deeper and deeper into the underwater caverns. Upon surfacing into the massive cave, she noticed the sudden lack of woodsy smell... it was more like wet rock, mold and moss... not the most appealing, but oh well...Eyeing the springs carefully, as she climbed out and walked along once more, she smiled slightly... wondering how that boy knew which spring to jump into to get to their village. Skipping ahead, she jolted past the entrance and exit... the waterfall, slipping to the side and squeezing out.
