Ter wasn't exactly surprised by the reaction he'd gotten, Chath was worried though he should it in an outward way which Ter never did. He kept any worried feelings he had inside and outwardly didn't seem to care more often then not. Now though he gave a bit of a shrug, "I don't... know." He said in response to the line of questions.
Chath's next action did surprise him, he found the newt's hands on his shoulders and the tone in the other's voice was a bit strange, "Everything huh... umm..." He thought on it hard, "Well... his hands weren't in their gloves like normal, said it ached to wear them. They were kinda reddish though not in a burned sort of way..." He thought on it harder, trying to remember any details he could of the brief run in with his brother. He thought and thought.
"Whatever it was even Vorel seemed down too, wouldn't even fight with me." Baroness added in a complaining tone before remembering that Chath wouldn't understand her, she gave a shrug and returned to chewing.

Chath looked into Ter's eyes for along while before releasing the cobra and moving a bit away from him. He looked deep in thought, mulling over the information Ter had revealed to him. So he wasn't wearing his gloves...and his hands were red...he felt a sinking sensation in the pit of his stomach. Maybe this was his fault for pushing Geia to not wear the gloves.
Keir snorted as he finished the last of his snack and looked away from Baroness a smug expression on his face. Maybe Vorel realized your not a worthy oppenant to fight anymore. he said though he caught Chath's glare he glared right back.
Chath had begun to pick up the dragonic language slowly, and though he didn't understand all the words Keir spoke he could figure out well enough what he meant and he didn't want another fight to be sparked by his idiotic dragon.
Pacing Chath tored his gaze away from his black and tried to focus back on Ter. He stopped his fidgeting and instead starting to punch the palm of his right hand lightly. As if it was the only way to vent his oncoming frusteration.
"That's all? He didn't say anything to you about what happened?" He asked hoping to gleen more information.

Baroness' glare got sharper, a low growl in her throat, "Vorel was never a worthy opponent, to much like his girlboy to be one." She said, swallowing the meat and her tail was back to lashing. Vorel was weak, he didn't fight back he just used pinning moves against her and it was annoying! He wouldn't fight for real!
Ter thought on it for a moment more, coils shifting and repositioning so that they were piled under him, "I'm not sure, aside from laying around he wasn't really doing anything... though I guess Geia doing nothing is strange in and of itself." He seemed thoughtful on the last part, Ligeia always seemed to be doing something even if it were just thumbing through one of his many, complicated books.
"I can't really tell you much more, sorry." It hadn't been his intention to throw the guy into a state of panic...

Keir stretched and continnued to 'ignore' Baroness. More like he knwe he could smear you across the road. . .He commented rolling his scaley shoulders.
Chath sighed and cast another despairing look at Keir, "stop it Keir.." he muttered not in any mood to have his dragon try and start a fight...which he was obviously trying to do.
Looking to Ter, Chath sighed and forced a smile. "Sorry, I will come visit Geia soon to make sure he is ok." he finished with a nod of his head. Trying to get his mind off things he continued,
"so what brings you out here anyway? Other than Zyan. did you hope she might be around?" He asked curious.

Baroness watched Keir closely for a moment then gave a sound of understanding, "Ahhh... I see. Taking his side are you? Cute." She all but purred, deciding that the pair made as weird a couple as an owl and a newt. It wouldn't work in nature those that flew weren't meant to be with those that swam, it wasn't right. Neither were boys with boys they couldn't make babies after all so why did they bother? Pairs got together for that reason didn't they? She would never understand, at least Ter and Z had that feel about them, the matey sort of feel. Strange babies those would be...
Ter gave a nod of his head, "I am sure that he would enjoy that." He said then gave a cough, "I didn't send you though, don't know if it were my business to spread. Ok?" He hoped the newt would understand, after all he had a rep as a bad a** who cared only for himself to keep up, didn't want that getting all messed up because he was nice in front of someone once.
He shifted his coils, leaning back against them, "Eh, just walking. Didn't think I would run into anyone but there was no point in staying cooped up at home. Out and about, things are more interesting."

Chath nodded his head, he fidgeted with the bandages on his arms undoing and redoing them like there was something wrong with them in the first place. "Yah, I was out here practiving my offense, I do too much defense it seems." He continued trying to keep his mind off of Geia. He was very worried, which was odd for someone as oblivious as himself.
"eh..oh right you were in Thomas's class right? What type of magic are you going to be learning?" he asked thinking back to Thomas and remembering that he wanted to set up a private tutoring class with the magic teacher to learn some more spells with his water.
Keir stiffened slightly at the word cute. It reminded him of when Geia gave him a hug. Was he truely going soft? Scoffing he looked away. I take no sides but my own, I merly speak the truth.

Ter gave a laugh, "Sounds about opposite from me, one fight I got in I didn't even think about defense just keep wailing on the guy and in turn got the IQ knocked out of me." He said, luckily after the pounding in his head went away his smarts returned.
He shifted his coils again, his form tensing up before he gave a snorting sound, "I took a class, if I could decide I wouldn't take anymore I don't much care for that idiot." He said, eyes narrowing. He would much rather go and learn what he had to from the chick teacher with the purple hair, "I was catergorized into body along with the rest of the class with the exception of the one that tried to kill the teacher."
That was kinda cool minus the fact he may have lost class credit. Ahh well... would just have to take one extra if it came down to it he supposed. He set to flicking his tongue out over his lip piercing idly wondering if it were thoughts like that which made Thomas say those things about him... could easily be.
Baroness watched him look away and couldn't help but feel triumphant, she seemed to have hit a nerve with the black, "Of course, of course." She agreed though her tone didn't match with her words. This was kinda fun, it was like a word game. She'd never gotten to have a fun battle of wits before! It was most entertaining, not as good as a fight mind you but it would suffice for now.

Chath had recalled that event being retold to him by his sister, but he shifted a bit uncomfertable. He didn't like that people would attack others so readily, he had accepted that other fight only on the rpetense that they were protecting Geia. He was of course a bit surprised at Ter's opinion on Thomas.
"I felt that way too...he called me a weakling and put me in the magic of the soul. I can summon water which is cool enough, but I have a rather difficult time keeping my stamina up when I use magic." he confessed his weakness that came to magic easily. He was a bit ashamed of it but there wasn't really anything he could do about it.
"In the end I ended up liking Mr. Barkhelm, for what he spoke to me in the first class drove me to try even harder to prove him wrong. I probably still wouldn't be able to stay standing in battle longer then ten minutes in. I have dehydration issues." he continued though he gave Ter a astonished look.
"Someone tried to kill him?? I remember Zyan telling me he fell down..." he muttered wondering what could of happened to the teacher to cause him to collaspe like that.
Keir felt the throb in his temple, this was going to be annoying. And he would rather tear her face off than to continue having this conversation but Chath had been very stern about NOT starting a fight.
I see the acid left some rather nice looking scars...starting a trend are you?

"So you do stuff similar to Geia huh?" That was kinda funny, Chath and Geia did the same stuff and so did he and Z. He gave a bit of an amused grin before he gave a shrug, "I suppose that I should do that, try hard to prove myself but really its not overcoming weakness for me its..." He made a motion with his hand. How in the Hell was a guy supposed to prove to someone that they did care about others? No doubt NOT the way he'd done it in walking away from Thomas's collapsed form...
Ter gave a bit of a laugh at Chath's reaction, "Ok, maybe it wasn't his intention but he was starring at the raven kid then 'THUD' hes on the ground out cold." He said attempting his best not to laugh at the mental image since for some reason Chath seemed to like the teacher.
Baroness gave a snort as she looked at the markings, the ones on her chest were barely visable but the ones on her wings... she swore if that was the reason she as failing so badly at flying she would eat Keir's wings so he couldn't fly either!
"Mmmm... yes. I suppose they are nice looking, they are a good conversation starter as well you know." She said swishing her tail in a lazy sort of way, "I got them in a tussle with a black I say and others are quite impressed." At least Kalseru was, the other green she'd met when her snake had met the Green's frog.
While she spoke highly of the scars in truth she hated them, mostly because she found it a bit annoying that it had been over so fast. That'd each only gotten one hit in before the fight was ended. She blinked a couple times as if a realization came to her and she couldn't help but looked pleased, far to pleased...

Chath looked a bit thoughtful at Ter's words, he had a distinct feeling Ter didn't like Thomas and wouldn't put much effort in trying to like him either. He gave a weak smile as he was compared to to Geia.
"Well we...kinda have similar powers. He weilds Ice while I weild water. Guess because of my nature it only makes sense." he replied and then summoned a globe of water to the palm of his hand. THe sphere hovered just a few hair breaths away from his palm and it was about the size of a baseball. He could also pitch it like it was a baseball. THe more he practiced the further he was able to hit as well harder.
"it still takes a lot out of me to weild magic. Probably why I sitck with hand to hand combat more. Surprisingly since my skin is so sensitive one would think I would want to use some form of a weapon. . ." he trailed off staring at the water globe and letting it twist upwards into a funnel shape. It hung in that form for a breif moment before collasping back into a spehere and then with a shudder it seemed to pop like a water ballon and drip all over his hand. He looked a bit embaressed but didn't say much about it.
Then I won't hesitate to add more to your beautiful hide, since it is SUCH a conversation starter and I wouldn't want you to be left out of any convesations.. Keir replied picking up on the fact Baroness was trying to egg him into loosing his patience with her and fight.

Ter watched the show of magic, watching closely the way he manipulated it before he gave a bit of a nod, "Its difficult?" He asked, Geia always made it seem easy... then again his brother was often practicing it, fiddling, and reading those heavy books... he still had yet to see the draw of magic. The one thing about it that drew his attention was the desire to learn it to be better then Geia at it... really though when looked at it seriously he doubted he could. He didn't have the drive to learn the magics like his brother did. He had far more fun in the battle classes he'd taken, they were interesting.
"I am interested in learning more of the hand to hand combat, I think it would be fun given all these coils." He patted a hand against them. He had several feet worth of twisting, turning, grappling coils that would make hand to hand rather interesting, "I bet I would be good at wrestling. Did it once before even, encoiling someone..." He started to laugh a bit recalling the class with that Revon kid.
Baroness gave a toothy smile, "We would need to fight again for us to exchange more scars Dear Black... and I think I know how we can. IF your up for another bout with me?" She purred the challenge at him.

Chath recalled those said coils wrapping around him in a class they were in together once. It had been a mind numbing experience, he recalled feeling paniced as air was being forced from his lungs. A dangerous foe indeed...not to mention venemous. For once Chath had looked over Ter as an opponent and weighed his chances against him. Perhaps it as him being male that caused him to do that.
For once he analyzed Ter, Ter was dangerous close up those coils had easy access to wrap around a person. But he also had a striking range, but it was more of a leap than a strike...Chath by now had been staring at Ter for a while saying nothing, before he snapped out of it.
"Eh? well..i am guessing it is easier for some like Geia and harder for others, like myself. It took lots of practice and dedication to even get to this size of water sphere." he mentioned still a bit distracted
"Wrestling? yah you could be good at it. Since no one could really through you." he said with a soft laugh.
Keir snorted, his gaze locking with the wyvren. Scars only make one more menacing. it shows prowress in battle, but too many scars mean you are poor when it comes to battling. he spoke but looked at her a wry grin formign on his lips. Another bout? My how sophiscated your sound. Surely this isn't going to be a fair match will it?

It wasn't until Chath finally said something that he realized the silence that had fallen over them for a bit. He wondered where the newt's mind had wandered off too... maybe off to Geia again? He then shrugged, "Its seems to be his thing, you should see some of the books he has. They are in other languages I think." It was either that or they were so damn complicated they might as well be.
Ter blinked then couldn't help but laugh, the idea of someone throwing him was... strange and the mental image was more so, "That would be interesting, to see someone try to throw me I mean."
"Oh thats the best part, fair and nobody could get in our way." Yes, she was definately onto something here and since Keir seemed interested in her idea... her tail started to swish in a pleased manner.

Chath walked around Ter, as if measureing the snake boys length in his head. Ter was really long, which meant in a wrestling match he would have the upper hand just by being able to stay grounded. The disadvantage to having only two legs is that you slip backwards when having a force pushed against you. And a pinning move wouldn't work so great against him either. What had he seen on television though? Basically you could 'charm' a snake with music and dancing and once you got ahold of their head they could only thrash. Of course.... that was talking about a snake that was perhaps the length of your arm. Ter was...just a bit bigger. But still...the idea popped into his head. it wasn't anything fancy...but it could work...if he managed to get close enough anyway.
"Well...I have time, did you want to go a round or two?" he asked finally setteling on his idea, "not that I am going to attempt to throw you..i would need much more training and probably wheigh three times as much to accomplish that.." he said movign back over to his spray bottle and dousing himself once over.
Keir gave another snort of laughter. Like anyone could really stop us once we got started anyway. . . he commented before standing. I hate to admit but you peaked my interest...where is such a place wyvern?

"Sure, sounds like that would be fun." He said, after watching the way Chath moved when battling against a dragon how could a person not want to try their skills against him? He shifted his coils around so that they were under him again and followed after Chath.
"If you get to the point where you think you can I will give you a free shot at throwing me." He told him, if for no other reason then really wanting to see someone try. He looked around a moment then spotting Chath's bag he looked over at the newt, "Can I borrow your bag?" He asked, "Just to put my metal bits in." It was a for fun thing so he didn't want to risk either or them getting caught up on his many piercings, it would suck for them both but mostly Ter.
Baroness pushed up to her feet and the 'hands' on her wings and then looked over at him, grinning, "Vorel does have his uses. He told me about a class he took where the teacher encouraged him to fight with another dragon. Imagine the fun in that?" She said, being not only able but encouraged to fight with another dragon, "Would you take this class with me when we can arrange it?" She wasn't planning on following any rules laid down in the class though, she and she was quite sure Keir, would do exactly what they wanted to do. And that was beat the hell out of each other... it would be fun.
