Saigo blinks at the conversation between Medixia and Karite. This...was so different from Jigoku that she forgot how pleasant conversations could be. She giggles slightly at the idea that she's in an atmosphere that is more friendly. She half expects a glare from somebody, maybe Medixia, as she's inspecting that wound. Saigo sighs slightly, thankful she can no longer feel that wound. Then she glances over her shoulder to see if she could see the owner of the masculine voice calling himself Karite. "I'm afraid I wasn't of much help to your taichou. I only could tell her what I knew..." She doesn't know if she should tell them she comes from the same place as their enemy, somebody she recognizes as her own enemy too. Aikou saved her only to use her. He didn't even train her as he'd trained those he just seemed to randomly pick up in Rukongai...

Eventually, Shunketsu got himself and the injured man he was carrying to the 4th division sector. Wondering what had become of some of the others, he put the man in the care of some orderlies, and asked one of them for some kind of salve...he didn't want to take up much of their time, being that other cases probably required more immediate attention.

::Medixia shakes her head. At least these kids would keep things lively. What am I thinking?! A young, cutie like me thinking 'kids'?! I was in the Rukongai for far too long... With a sigh, she pulls a piece of bark generously covered in what appears to be the same salve she uses to treat cuts and bleeding. Without a moment's hesitation, she slaps it over Saigo's wound. It won't heal as quickly as chiyo, but it would heal as effectively. With that done, she begins to tie bandages around it to keep it on.::

Don't worry 'bout a thing. We don't bite.

::She gives a wink.::

...less you ask.

::With a chuckle, she stands up quite pleased with her work on Saigo. That mess would clean up soon enough. As she's walking towards Karite and pulling more tools out of her satchel, namely a few bandages to keep his cut closed and help it heal, she spies more of those battle injuries just poor in. I thought I felt something big... With a sigh, she tilts her head looking down on Karite.::

Show me that wound of yours lest I check out the others here first.

Haro was breathing heavily as he stood there, he had two bodies, one over each of his shoulders and he wasn't that strong. His knees were shaking visibly and a look of strain was plastered over his face. He coughed, sending a little bit of blood out of his mouth, since one of the women he had been carrying before stabbed him in the back. He barely had any life left in him, and his eyes had become glazed over, a sign of death, though he was still walking. He dropped the two living bodies where he was and he fell forwards upon his face, his nose breaking upon the floor with a loud crack. His clothing was stained red from all the blood coming out of his back and his face. Since the knife was buried up to the handle still there in his back. He thought the medics at the previous area would have treated him, but they had not, they had taken the bodies he had been carrying and left him there. He did the only honorable thing he could think of. He went back, got two more, and walked all the way here, he had no time to pull the knife out of his back. But now, the other two he had gotten lay beside him, and he was near to death.

Kaosu grunted, placing two more groaning bodies on some spare gurnies. Then, he walked over to the girl, albeit a little curious at her attire.

"Hmm, new girl, hunh?" He smiled, pushing past Karite, leaning against the wall next to the bed. "It's always good to see new blood around here." He paused, and then shook his head. "Sorry, how rude of me!" He bowed slightly, winking. "I'm Kaosu Hokosaki..." He heard commotion, and yelling outside the Division headquarters.

"Excuse me." He nodded, walking out. He thought he heard a familiar voice. It was Sentan.

"Kaosu! Are you here, Kaosu?! Sentan yelled, searching through the slowly growing line of groaning Rukongai, only one or two shinigami in the fallen ranks.

"What?" Kaosu asked, standing on the steps. Sentan walked brisquely up and slapped him. Still reeling, Kaosu wheeled on his feet and got right into the man's face, growling. "The hell was that for?!" He seethed, red mark growing on his face.

"You never let me know that you were doing this! Unforgivable. Absolutely unforgivable. You could have died!" Sentan raved, face remaining relatively calm.

Kaosu spat on the ground, looking up at the taller individual. "Maybe I don't need babysat all the time, hmm?" Sentan's arm shook, as if he was about to lash out again. "Don't speak to me that way. As soon as this is over I want you to come to my manor, do you understand?"

Kaosu's face remained stone-solid, not giving any notion of yes or no as the noble turned and walked, somehow giving off that extreme aura of superiority...without doing a thing.

Kaosu roared, slamming his fist against the wall. A chip of stone broke off, lodging in his fist. He pulled it out, and let the blood drip down. Walking back over, he sighed.

"Carry on."

As Kaosu approaches her, Saigo doesn't really notice him. She's lost in thought. She's also not exactly confident in her position. All she knows is that it's rather precarious. When he speaks to her, she blinks and looks up at him. "Ha...Hai. Kame Saigo." She answers automatically just before he's suddenly pulled away. With a sigh, she's almost glad no conversation started. She might get asked where she's from or how she got here... Her grip tightens on her zanpakutou. "I'm really too unsure..."

Hikari's satisfied with Shunketsu's answer. Before she has a chance to do anything else, Medixia calls her over. She has only one response. "Hai, Ban-chan!" She quickly follows after her only to come to a stop, surprised with a gasp at Haro's condition. She's stunned for a moment. "Sukonku-baka...?" Very quickly, she kneels near Medixia. "What do I do?"

::Medixia could almost feel insulted. Did Haro really believe she was about to let him die? Okay. Saigo was easy compared to this. Her lung was scraped and a little collapsed, but she was easy to just sow up. As soon as he'd spoken though, she knew where to start.::

Hikari, use chiyo on his head. I think the pain's gotten to his brain.

::The joke is obviously laced in her speech. She quickly begins sorting through her satchel. The only way Haro's dieing here is is he gives up. With Hikari's kidou and her own skill, a punctured lung and lacerated liver should be nothing. That's the confidence she has as an experienced doctor, even if she might be called "witch" doctor by modern practice. Still. Just because she can do it doesn't mean it'll be easy. She carefully begins prying flesh from the dagger, quickly applying the salve she uses to staunch blood flow. She makes sure to be slow and careful, conscious of all of Haro's movements.::

I don't care what the pain is, don't move!

::Oh. There would be pain. The salve is natural, so the organic material causes its 'good' pain. She's using no anesthetic, so pulling the dagger out is going to be pain. She just hopes its not serrated or already attached to blood clots. She most certainly does not want more flesh to tear. At the same time, there is a need to get it out to start operating, even if using Hikari's kidou. She sighs. Gah...::
