If your camera was made by rational people it would use some sort of standard cable. For example, mine uses a USB to mini-USB cable. However, that doesn't do much to help about the cost problem.
But... bleh. This is a frustrating situation, yeah. We've had a few cat and mom problems today, too.

I must concur that you do seem to be overreacting just a little bit. It happened and no, there's not much you can do about it having happened. Now you need to figure out how you're gonne sort it. If you rant, nothing's going to happen and your mum'll implement her threat. Calm down and sort through your options logically.

Well this is the 43308456870345078th time my cat has almost gotten me grounded or banned from electronics FOREVER!
AND I JUST FOUND OUT MY YOUTUBE ACCOUNT WAS SUSPENDED FOR "ENCOURAGING LAW-BREAKING ACTIVITES" OR WHATEVER.
I ONLY HAD 3 VIDEOS!
Two were hackings of Super Mario 64.. And they say "OMG ROMS ARE ILLEGAL".
Would that make my account banned??

I doubt it's happened that many times, or that you'd ever be banned forever. Rationality's the only way to go now. Seriously, from experience, having a mental spaz-out about it'll only make things worse, either because you'll break something, or someone in your family will get fed up with you and you'll end up having an argument and/or winding up banned from the computer.

Teh_KoOL_AiD_Man First off STFU and calm your a** down do what zeeko said get a card reader, they're relatively cheap and work for just about EVERY memory card and also you need to get your priorities in line for which item is more important and if you tell me to GTFO ill kill you stare

Yes, My cat is still alive and I found a new USB cable for my camera.
