I'm taking Spanish in school and I can understand Chinese, but I can't read/write it. I don't really speak either language to other people.

Filipinos don't speak Spanish. Well, they can, I guess, if they learn it. However, their language is called "Tagalog". "Just trying to keep people from being idiots...and failing miserably." Phantom of the Forum azndragon42415 Phantom of the Forum peach_zelda i can read and write french i can understand filipino and speak a little i can read some japanese Don't call the language Spanish, 'filipino', please. It's rather offensive to a lot of people. (not me though...I'm not Spanish.) I'm confused...XP filipino is not even a language. you can't speak something that doesn't exist. It's called 'Spanish'. Sorry for confusing you, dragon. Just trying to keep people from being idiots...and failing miserably.

Well, since the Philippines used to be under Spanish rule before US intervention, most of them could speak spanish. But their offical language is Tagalog.
But anyways, I can speak English, Lao, and Thai. But I can't read or write in Lao or Thai... It's a pity.

I am a Filipino, and I can speak tagalog.
Our language is called tagalog, it can be similar to Spanish since we adapted some words from them, we were once under the spanish colony. smile

I speak Vietnamese very fluently and a little German and French. Yeah. Vietnam was once under French rule, so our alphabet is adapted, most of it, from the French and Latin alphabet. I'm learning how to read and write Vietnamese atm.

azndragon42415 Are you one of those band geeks that can speak 2+ languages? What language do you speak? Do you speak to other people in another language? Do you speak the other language(s) fluently? I speak like 4 or 5 of what you listed. You already know that. Unlike someone speaking everything *cough* *cough* ninja
