That's not how a lottery works.
A lottery works like this.
1 million people buy a ticket at ten gold each.
The lottery produces 10 million in gold.
The 10 million is then redistributed to the winners.
Gold will only stay in the system.
One way it could work would be to get 25,000 users to buy a ticket for 50 gold each, and the winner would yield much less than 1,250,000 gold (25,000 x 50)... maybe 500,000 gold only. That would still be an attractive pot for me.
Numerous gold sink ideas have been presented in the feedback forum. One of them is a lot like the lottery idea, the idea of which being that a valuable item would be released instead (maybe a MC?)
I think a combination of several gold sink ideas would be WAY MORE EFFECTIVE than this pain-in-the-a** listing fee.
