Kittie stood up and dusted some of the dirt off her clothing. "Am I dead?" she thought to herself as flashbacks came back from what she could remember. She shook her head and touched the mountain side. "No ... this is here but not here ..." Questions started to build up in her head and soon it annoyed her, since she wasn't very patient. The wind began to blow in her face, her long blue hair covered her face and made it hard to see. Once the wind had calmed down she spotted a long red ribbon looking scarf. The scarf was tied into a knot on a branch that hanged from the side of the rocky mountain. Kittie walked over to it and carefully took the scarf, trying not to rip it. Once the scarf was in her hands she tied up her hair and used the scarf as a ribbon.

Something moved behind her, making the bushes rustles as it ran by. It stopped in a nearby bush. Red glowing eyes sparked through the holes in the bush as it growled long and slowly. Drool dripped from its mouth to the ground that could be heard from far away. It lurched out of the bush and slow stood up. It was almost as tall as an elephant but covered in long dark fur. The monster looked like a madden werewolf. It looked at Kittie with hunger and anger as it crouched down ready to jump her.

Kittie heard the rattling from the bush and turned around to see the madden werewolf. As the werewolf crouched down a big sweat drop went down the side of her face. "N-nice, werewolf, I don't taste good, really." She said in a shaky and nervous voice. "On three I make a run for it ..." She counted to three before jumping down the mountain, hoping to escape the werewolf. Her shoes rubbed against the hard mountain side as she slid down, making her feet hurt. She felt as if though her feet were burning and her wounds from the accident were starting to bleed a little.

The werewolf howled and ran after her, jumping off the side of the mountain and sliding down after her. Its tongue hang from the side of its mouth, the fangs gleamed in the moonlight. The werewolf was gaining speed as it got closer to her, opening its jaw ready to bite its prey.

Kittie twitched at the fact that the werewolf was gaining speed while she lost speed and got tired. As the werewolf got closer she let out a loud squeal that echoed through the mountains.

As the werewolf was about to bite her arm something flashed past her and scratched the werewolf across its mouth. It howled in pain and jumped back, growling at Kittie with blood dripping from its mouth. Claw lines ran across its lips. Hero stood in front of Kittie with his claws stretched out in front of him at the werewolf, its blood stained his clawed gloves. They stared at each other for a couple of minutes as the werewolf started circle them before running unexpected towards Hero as he ran and slide under it. Blood spurted out from under the werewolf as it stood for a couple of minutes and dropped to the ground, and stopped breathing.

Kittie saw as the werewolf collapsed to the ground. She could hardly feel her legs and she collapsed as well. Her legs were numb from all the running and her heart was pounding rapidly. She took a few minutes to calm down before looking at the wolf and smiling. "Thank you."

He stared at her in silence before walking to her. Hero crouched down and lifted her up. He walked towards the direction of the town before gaining his pace and started running. They eventually ran to a poor village near the mountain range where he walked up to a house quietly and put her down on the doorstep and turned around.

As he put her down in front of the doorstepped she twitched. "You aren't going to leave me here are you?" She would rather be around a wolf demon then humans who always used to make fun of her when she was younger.

"..." he turned his head slightly, but the shadow still hid his face and his back was still turned to her. "...You can live in the wild...You belong here with your own kind..." he started to walk away.

"... They don't understand me nor will they see me as one of them." Kittie stood up, her legs where still numb but not as much. She looked at him for a few minutes before facing the opposite way. "Either way, thank you."

He didn't stop and kept walking towards the forest back to the mountains.

She walked the opposite way of him and walked deeper into the town. The town seemed different then where she originally lived.

Hero stood in the forest he looked up at the crescent moon and began to feel sleepy. He sat down next to a tree trunk as his eyelids felt heavey and they eventually closed as he dozed off.

Kittie walked around the town and looked for an abandoned house to sleep in. She found an old abandoned church and went to sleep on one of the benches.
