  • What is the name of your path/faith/religion, if any?
I do not have a specific religion.
  • What are the central ideas in this path?
I have several ideas on the existence of magick that would support its idea. As of right now, I have a theory that magick is the manipulation of the waves of energy that are included in the substance of all things. All things are made up of energy, so that energy naturally follows a pattern. This is also included in the make up of the human body (simple explanation of the 'aura'- the radiation of a person's energy field). I'd hate to go off on some lecture just now, but I will set up a post, so that I can organize and better explain my thoughts.
  • What is your/your path's opinions on magick? Psionics? The occult? Humanity? Gods? Nature? The soul? Death? Any other major opinions? What is your path's opinion of itself?
In my opinion, anything is possible. "There is more in heaven and on earth Horatio..." But another thought of mine that could tie into the energy theory that I am working on is that, Gods and Goddesses are ideas held in the human mind, specific energy which is personified in order for the person to focus on it.
  • Why have you taken this path over all others?
I've tried a lot of different things in my short life. I have no particular reason to cling to religion, however, I have an overwhelming curiosity and an appreciation for the faith of others.
  • What events in your past led you to this path?
Hmm. It just came naturally. As a child, I begged my mother to let me go to church. It just hit me one day. I wanted to go! So, religion was not something that was forced on me. Later, I took up Wicca, to try and find explanations for things and out of general curiosity. The idea of some being fiddling with my life, just didn't stick. I firmly believe that my actions are my own. I don't hold with fate or anything like that. I studied herbalism along with the wicca as well. I still take it back up from time to time. But, there really wasn't any drastic reason for me to stick to my wanderings.
  • What are your principles/philosophies when it comes to your path?
I'd have to get back to you on this one. I'm strange when it comes to philosophy. lol.
  • What do you feel are your strengths in your path?
Though I do not have faith in any deities, I do have great faith in myself and the things that I am capable of. I know that my actions are my own. I also understand that the consequences to my actions are my own. So, I find that my greatest strength is not that someone is watching over me, but that I am watching over myself.
  • What are your weaknesses?
Weaknesses. Were I to have a weakness, it would be the disconnected feeling that I do have. I can't sit back at night and pray, because I do not believe in prayer. I don't have the support from something higher, like those who do follow religion. It is a sad feeling, but it is not something that I can wrestle with. I am simply incapable of taking on those types of things.
  • What do you like most about your path?
I enjoy the fact that my actions go unhindered by guilt or religious belief. I can do and say whatever feels appropriate to me, and I believe that I will not pay for it in whatever afterlife may await me. I simply live.
  • What do you dislike most about magick & psionics in general?
I dislike the fluff that comes with it. It seems to me that there are more beginners guides than actual studies being written. I think, that those sort of studies should be taken more seriously, and not just written to sell to teenagers who have an itch to play around.
  • What areas of magick/psionics/your path have you expertise in?
I know a bit about natural magick as a general. I could whip you up something for a price if you needed it, but I don't follow with all the rules. I do what I need to do when I need it, and I am confident it will be effective. I practice herbalism as a hobby, so I know a bit there as well. I've tried the Christian paths, and studied there a bit too, but I find it feels more like stories than actual study.
  • What five books (or other sources) do you value above all else when it comes to your path?
Any books I own are actually written in my hand. I have compiled information that I would find useful and a few bits that I have written on my own on what I have found through experience. All of my notes are useful to me, but they might not be to everyone else. lol.
  • What is your most memorable moment in regards to your path?
I don't have many memorable moments. Just work-work-work.
  • What occult-related ideas don't you believe in or agree with?
Hmm. That would require discussion with someone else. I am always open to ideas, and I like to sit back with a good drink and discuss what their opinions are on whatever comes up. I couldn't tell you off hand whether I'd agree with you.
  • List three odd, unknown and/or interesting facts about your path.
0_o Well... I don't think I have any of those. At least, none that seem odd to me.
  • What are your paths views on Christianity? Islam? Judaism? Hinduism? Buddhism? Sikhism? Shinto? Wicca?
They are pretty things, aren't they. They deserve respect.
  • List a few (about five or six) links to more information about your path, or links that contain information you read, use as a resource, or the like. I haven't ever really come across anyone who held the same theory as me. If anyone has any similar ideas, notify me. I'd like to hear about it.

  • What is the name of your path/faith/religion, if any?
I've combined a little bit from Druidism/General Paganism/Satanism/Psychic Theory/Buddhism/Taoism. It doesn't have a name, but I have things in common with all of these currently.
  • What are the central ideas in this path?
The central ideas are that the meaning of life is to Grow into something that we'll never know, and that when people die, they will become one with whatever power is out there. Other central ideas are that morality is totally relative, and that people should be helped, even the bad ones, because people are mostly scared and confused about their life. Although the bad ones who harm others I think need punishment, and I hope they find it on their own.
  • What is your/your path's opinions on magick? Psionics? The occult? Humanity? Gods? Nature? The soul? Death? Any other major opinions? What is your path's opinion of itself?
I think I've covered this Death one vaguely in the previous question. I think that Magick, whatever it seems to be produces results, and that it is a combination of Focus/Intent/Imagery/Emotion. The occult is nothing but interesting! I think Humanity acts evil, ironically in an attempt to be the best person they can be. I'm not sure what to think about Gods as of yet. I feel that whatever a God or Gods are can be found within nature. My path's opinion of itself though huh? hmmm... That the very foundations are subject to change, which is understandable as I am in a constant state of change.
  • Why have you taken this path over all others?
I feel like there isn't a path, but a jungle I'm trying to cut through, so basically I choose this one because it's as far as I've gotten so far.
  • What events in your past led you to this path?
When I was a child, a friend's father was big into witchcraft, and my eyes grew like saucers as he read my mind with frightening accuracy (most of the time). Since then, I've been scared of these things, and unshakable obsessed!
  • What are your principles/philosophies when it comes to your path?
Treat others as they would treat me, yet show the utmost kindness to strangers. Do not fear death, because death is the goal, and we will be plucked when we're ripe. No actions are bad, only intent and consequences. People should be wholly honest with themselves, and not be afraid to explore anything to find truth.
  • What do you feel are your strengths in your path?
The biggest strength in my path is its flexibility. Also, that I can see things and people for what they really are, even if I'd rather be mad at them, I understand them and forgive them quickly.
  • What are your weaknesses?
I feel like I'm blowing in the wind. I wish I had something concrete to rest on and feel safe with, but something about it is always changing, and I feel like the fundamentals I stand on could at any time be swept out from under my feet. It causes me to feel very lost...
  • What do you like most about your path?
What I like most about my path is it considers all sides of all things, not naive or skeptical, optomistic or pessemistic, but it lets me relate to everything.
  • What do you dislike most about magick & psionics in general?
I really only dislike my attitude concernig magick, is sometimes I ask for outrageous things and they come to be, yet I find myself asking for small things in fear that one day it'll let me down. With psionics the only thing I dislike is my inability to control it. Sometimes I want to see or hear things, and I can't. Meanwhile, my fragile little solarplexus gets bombarded frequently.
  • What areas of magick/psionics/your path have you expertise in?
I have some expertise with psionics in viewing the different senses as separate, rather than one sixth sense. As far as magick goes, I have experience in everything, but expertise in structuring and modifying spells and rituals.
  • What five books (or other sources) do you value above all else when it comes to your path?
I value the Tao te Ching, my memories of The 21 Lessons of Merlin, memories of tidbits that I read Aleister Crowley saying, the band Tool of all things (particularly the song Disposition really makes me feel like I'm close to divinity), and of course myself. I only listed myself as a source because I feel like I'm examining myself under a microscope.
  • What is your most memorable moment in regards to your path?
When I was a child, I couldn't yet swim and I was working my way along a swimming pool ledge (like children will do). Well I lost my grip and I plunged into the water. I didn't understand how to get back to the surface, I just kept my eyes shut tight. Well, I ran out of air when my feet touched the bottom, and out of reflex I gasped for air. Well my lungs filled so much that I kicked myself off the bottom hard and shot towards the top like a bullet. I don't understand what happened, but I know this - there were no air jets that far now.
  • What occult-related ideas don't you believe in or agree with?
I don't believe that magick can be used to cause impossible things to happen, but maybe improbable things. I don't believe in good magick, or bad magick, or dogma restricting you to peaceful casting (yet I mostly keep to peaceful casting out of compassion and understanding). I believe that magick should not be relied on to achieve an outcome while there are actions that could be taken, yet I believe it works as a fantastic supplement.
  • List three odd, unknown and/or interesting facts about your path.
My path embraces characteristics from polar opposites (buddhism/satanism). Did I ever specify LaVey Satanism? Oh well.
My path believes that whatever higher power may exist, it will not save you from anything, and it will not make you suffer, but it will let you do both on your own.
My path doesn't believe in coincidences for the most part. Everything is perfect.
  • What are your paths views on Christianity? Islam? Judaism? Hinduism? Buddhism? Sikhism? Shinto? Wicca?
Christanity=not for me, but not bad (except the violent history). Judaism=I really don't know much about it. Hinduism=I don't know how I feel about the laws of Karma, and I'm not sure about reincarnation. Buddhism=the philosophies that dictate their lives are absolutely beautiful! I've never heard of Sikhism or Shinto. I'm familiar with some forms of Paganism, yet I never really got into Wicca.
  • List a few (about five or six) links to more information about your path, or links that contain information you read, use as a resource, or the like.
I'm afraid I really don't have any links... I listed some books in a different question, but I really only use fragments of things, like a Chimera lol. I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful in this department.

By the way, I LOVE this questionaire you have ^_^

It requires real inner commitment, otherwise you won't get far.
  • What are your paths views on Christianity? Islam? Judaism? Hinduism? Buddhism? Sikhism? Shinto? Wicca?
They're all methods for spiritual growth. Every person must use that which works the best for him/her.

* What is the name of your path/faith/religion My path is my own. My faith is in nature. My religion if I actually would call it that, is pagan/natural.

* What are the central ideas in this path? Take care of the natural order and it takes care of you. I believe in reincarnation. Trying to learn my lessons well.

* What is your/your path's opinions on magick? Psionics? The occult? Humanity? Gods? Nature? The soul? Death? Any other major opinions? What is your path's opinion of itself? I know little about magic, beyond folk magic. The occult, meaning surviving spirits and energy, yes. I've had numerous experience with those. Some very good, others terrifying. Humanity has issues, it's forgotten it has to share the planet with others of it's own kind or others in general. Gods are mostly annoying. Sorry, but, that's what I believe and how I feel. Nature is beautiful and to be loved, protected, enjoyed. The soul continues until it learns what it must. Death happens to all corporeal bodies. My general opinion is that we all must find our own path and follow it to the end. Yours may be very different from mine, but, I applaud you for following it.

* Why have you taken this path over all others? I've studied the basic christian religions and a few others. They offer very little really, just control by others. My way or the highway sort of thing. I don't feel that is the way. I believe in good and evil, but, not as god or satan. Good and evil exist in part in all of us. There are beings of pure quality of both good and evil. I wanted to grow and understand, not just be told how to believe and how to behave.

* What events in your past led you to this path? No one event led to my path. It's just developed over the years.

* What are your principles/philosophies when it comes to your path? Live and let live.

* What do you feel are your strengths in your path? Freedom to be myself. Open minded. Caring, REAL caring.

* What are your weaknesses? I have lost some of my open mindness to certain fundamentalist sect, christian and islamic. I find it hard to deal with their hatred of anything different, their ability to kill because others are different.

* What do you like most about your path? It lets me learn, from my wins, from my losses, my mistakes. Leads me to be better. I'm afraid the last answer above, is one I'll be working on more in this life and maybe a couple of more.

* What do you dislike most about magick & psionics in general? Pretensions.

* What areas of magick/psionics/your path have you expertise in? Tarot, Protection spells, Banishing spells.

* What five books (or other sources) do you value above all else when it comes to your path? I really don't have much in the way of source material. Most comes from elders who have taught me or history it's self.

* What is your most memorable moment in regards to your path? The first time I witnessed or became part of a past event. It just happen out of the blue while on a family outing. I find it fasinating now, but, was scared to death at the time, because I wasn't really sure how it happened or where it was leading.

* What occult-related ideas don't you believe in or agree with? Cultism, Satan Worship(If I don't believe in god, I don't believe in satan). Anything that actually hurts others.

* List three odd, unknown and/or interesting facts about your path. Depends on who you talk to if something is odd or interesting. I listen to the animals, the wind in the trees, rain. I dream truth. I sometimes fear what I hear.

* What are your paths views on Christianity? Islam? Judaism? Hinduism? Buddhism? Sikhism? Shinto? Wicca? The first three are okay in the basic as long as they don't force it on me. Buddists are usually nice peaceful kind beings. Most hindu as well. The next two I know nothing about. Wiccans are fine. They are also generally peaceful and open.

* List a few (about five or six) links to more information about your path, or links that contain information you read, use as a resource, or the like. No links, just me and what I've read and been taught over the years.
