haha, yeah I was all gung-ho on all day clicking every 2 minutes the first day....but I just can't keep up that pace. xd I jujst hope not all the Durem team members start slacking off like me. sweatdrop

I was torn between choosing Barton or Durem. Barton 'cause it's just kinda...tradition, you know? Like, here from the beginning. But I ended up choosing Durem. Not because it was the winning team (didn't know it would be when I joined) but because I liked how it was a crash between punk and classic. Moira and Edmund, complete opposites. Moira = <3 And yeah. Durem's shirt pwns. So does their weapon. So Greek God styled. ;]

I don't think the scoring is fair. the admins didn't take in to the factor that one team might have twice as many members as the second highest member ratio.
I mean, if you look at the scoring, Aekea has launched way more than Durem (which is supposed to give you the most points) but Durem is still winning. why? because of sheer numbers.
I still have 2 mules left to put on a team... and while I'm really rooting for Aekea to win, (because that's who's supposed to be winning the way scoring was explained) I might end up putting them on Durem so I can get a couple extra winner item things... xp dramallama

I'd like to see that. razz @ Autumn. idk, I think it's as fair as they could make it. & not just because I'm on team Durem. sweatdrop Aekea only has 1 launch up on Durem so that's only 30 points. Durem might have double the members but their pump count is almost 3 times more & because we have so many members it takes us more pumps to launch. I mean even when our total before the member division is put in is more than twice that of Aekea, after the division our lead is not even half. So yeah, I think it's fair. biggrin Durem FTW! scream xp

Personally I think this event is seriously flawed, Admins probably couldn't anticipate the sheer number of problems that have arisen and also the attitude of some Gaians. Seriously, reading some of the Team Forums - people are going way overboard for this event; swearing, insulting, accusations of cheating - this is getting a bit out of hand. Sure I'd like my team (Aekea) to win and get that spiffy item for the winning Team, but geeze people winning isn't everything and all these crazy people are just acting like children (though some of them probably are xd ).
Soo if Durem wins, good for them and leave it at that. I'm just gonna have to find the spiffy winning team item on the Marketplace later on XD.

Although there are super mean and competitive people I enjoy the whole team thing. I think it's pretty fun. Being competitive to a certain point can be fun but a bunch of people kill it right off the back.
I was debating over Durem and Gambino and ended up choosing Durem. I was pretty sure I was going to choose Durem but then I saw that glass of ice for Gambino and was like that's pretty cool! lol >_<

I like the teams & the competitiveness, but the people who go into the forums just to say, you suck or you know just mean things kinda ruin it. sad Overall though it's been fun, & I think I would've had just as much fun on a different team. But it's still nice to win. blaugh

yeah, I'm still a bit miffed about the scoring mainly cause I think the admins refuse to say how everything is scored... (active members, how many pumps it takes to launch). but it's not like it's not obvious why Durem is winning. they are working hard for it. xp
it's fun for the competitiveness of it, but when people can't take it as just a fun game, and go hey, good game at the end, then it just gets to be no fun anymore. I myself am on Barton. and I know I have no chance of winning the special item there. heart
