Naota_the_fox_demon LimOfFragReality ~MonOphObiA_kEi~ I'm getting the doujin fixed up. (currently resizing, will host images when done.) Oh, I just remembered that there is some nudity (someone taking a shower). I'll just put black boxes over the erm..suggestive areas. (it's girl parts so you shouldn't care.) Yeah, I know what you mean about manga getting more expensive... I was getting really used to getting French manga, which is soooooooooo inexpensive it's not even funny, and then the bookstore I was getting them at stopped getting them, so I had to buy stuff in English, and it can sometimes come up to around 3 times the price, depending what company does it.
Well, the price of English manga HAS gone down since then, but still not as low as French manga... My Fruits Basket manga all cost around $8 CAN, while the lowest price I've seen for English manga is around $13 CAN.... (Which is also, by the way, the highest price I've seen on a French manga. sweatdrop Funny how that works...)

never been to the US.. do they have shop which sell only manga, or u have to go to a book shop?

In England we have to go to london to buy it, but slowly slowly manga is trickling into our normal book shops too...but no WAY on the percentage as like france and Germany who have their own SECTION of the shop dedicated to manga crying !! CHEAP TOO!!

yami_no_wolf never been to the US.. do they have shop which sell only manga, or u have to go to a book shop? ano..both? For the transalted manga you can just go to a bookstore to buy it. It's become rather popular and occupies a whole wall where I go... but there are also specalty shops to buy jap ones and the more yaoi based ones sweatdrop but those place are also the ones with the merchandise and much harder to find.

In Canada, they're sold pretty much at most large bookstores and comic book stores... If you're lucky enough to be in a big city that has a chinatown, then they have shops to sell japanese manga and stuff.
Also, if you're lucky enough to be in Quebec, you can get French manga for really cheap! Used to be able to get some in New-Brunswick, too, but I haven't found a store that can special order them anymore, since the Montreal branch of the store I was getting them at decided to take control of all the French stock, and seem to think that no one in NB want French manga.... -_-
Which is why I'm now happy to have discovered amazon.ca. XD Every other site you can order French manga from has to ship them from France, and so the shipping price is just scary.
