Ume took my idea...sort of. I was going to offer to buy it and send it to her as a Christmas gift. Of course, I would have needed a mailing address.

Masqued Youko-chan ... *completely and utterly crestfallen* I just asked my mum.... she said... she said no. She said I can just get it out of the library. I can't get it. I've been asking for a year now, and she said no. I wanted it for Christmas. I wanted it for my birthday. And... I never got it. And now... she said no. Excuse me while my incredible hyperness turns to stereotypical, teenage angst. ... mad Screw that. I'm drawing you a picture. I WEEP FOR YOU.

I TOLD her that it was "back by popular demand" and they weren't making endless copies like Harry Potter, so I REALLY need to go out and get it, before they run out, and do you know my mother's reaction?

I would have offered to send it to Youko, but I dunno if she's giving out her address. I'm a bit leery of giving my own address, because you never know who will end up seeing it. I'm paranoid that way.
Wow. Your mother really is weird. That's messed up. I dunno how my mom will react if I ask her to preorder. I don't think I'm gonna ask though. *Shrug*

I've got the book already, so I'm not in any real need of buying the reprint. I was also lucky enough to get it before the prices sky rocketed. It was $20 when I got it.
