At first the compliments had passed over the filly's head, unusual words directed at her. She was not normally one that the other soquili within this area would consider cool or accomplishing, but Dante was a different kind of Soquili - someone she could definitally understand.. most of the time. With a slowness to her step that seeped in as she mulled over this, she turned her head to smile a sincere, normal grin, not her normal essentricly wild smiles. "N-naw, I'm just open-minded, I guess." It was kind of nice to be called cool.

Hearing the question, her head jerked back up to regard him, eyes wide once more, almost as if taking everything in, before she sunk back deep within her find to find a suitable answer. "Au, well.." she started, turning to follow in his hoofprints to catch up with him once more, "for one, I guess I would not need to be bound by any cosmic forces. Nothing to tie me down, so that I can roam freely without having to hurt anyone. I guess." she mulled, before turning to look at him.

"When my father came here, he left no one behind to fret for him, he says, he seems so in tune with himself - I want to be as carefree and in tune as him. You know? I think being bound to one place would be boring.. I need that sense of adventure."

Tal looked like the kind of female that couldn't be bound anywhere. Dante was jealous in a way, but he decided not to dwell on it as a negative thought. "At least you will never bored, especially if you keep moving and seeing new things." She'd probably meet a lot of new Soquili as well, and her confidence would high her physical differences. "You'll probably met a lot of friends along the way too."

Dante wasn't sure how he felt about adventure, but Tal was making it sound incredibly interesting. Didn't adventures take awhile? On the other hand, Dante did haven't anything else to really do.. "I have never been on an adventure, have you been on many before?" After he spoke, he wondered if his question was a dumb one. She was still young, but she seemed so eager at the same time.

"W-Well, I believe that everything is an adventure, in hiding, just waiting for the perfect opportunist to come around to it.." she stated bluntly, looking at him with sincere honesty throughout her form. She hadn't thought it was a stupid question at all, there were no stupi questions, just stupid answers, and she hoped that she had been wording things right, so that he understood how she saw life, even if it was through a few more eyes. "Like, getting to this area, most would probably take the tried and true route. Through a run down path, or with others.. but if I find a small thicket and a new way through, I'll gun it. I'd rather get lost and see things normally wouldn't be seen, than find my way to the same boring place."

It sounded perfectly normal to her, but unlike him, she knew she had no real natural predator, or crazed father bent on her demise. Screwing her face up into a soft frown, she looked away. "I guess it would be hard to adventure when you're always on pins and needles about your old man, I think one day you should just.. look at the forest, and gun it. If you think too much about the worries in the world, they'll just tie you down."

He smiled to her, and ruffled his mane. It would be hard for Tal to understand completely, and he didn't want to drag her into his scenario at all. It was his to deal with, and he felt stupid for bringing it up so much. "Once I get older, I will travel more, and find new paths in life." Since, once he was older, he could do such on his own without conflict or anything.

"Unfortunately, I am used to bearing with what the reality is." With a light shrug, he grinned at Tal, hoping to hide whatever thoughts plagued his mind. "I just hope I will be able to find you again when you are older as well. I'll need some good influence in my life." With am impish grin, he walked a few steps away from Tal and noticed the old hags that were talking about them were gone. "Its getting late.. ugh, I am sure my mother is already spazzing over me. What should we do?" He then looked to his friend and shrugged again. He hated being confined to his family, but he also hated making his mother worry.

Hearing the query, she looked to the sky, the last dying light of the sun casting a very lazy glow around then, making her frown softly. "I suppose it really is getting late, my father unit will probably start worrying where I've been." she stated, before flickering her ears and looking back at him, her frown still apparent. It was inevitable that this end of a meeting would come, and nodding, she spoke again.

"I'm more than sure our paths will cross again, it's not hard to recognize eachother.. I glow, and you have those headwings," she stated, still very amused by them. "If fate deals us good, we'll find ourselves again." She finished, almost wisely, before giggling and takinga few tentative steps to the edge of their little talking spot.

"Why not, just maybe when we're older, we should visit here whenever we get the chance. It'd probably be easier to catch another if one comes here whenever they're available. Hm? Well. I best be going, my wild adventures end when the sun dips low. So.. I'll see you around, Dante." And with that, she, and her warm glow, were gone, set off gallopping back home. Hopefully they'd meet again..

Right?

Dante wanted to tell her that he would see her again, but he couldn't. He would surely get killed by his father when he grew older, and it would be hard to lose ties that actually mattered to him. He remained silent, and only smiled at Tal. He couldn't hurt her feelings like that, and it was better for the female to feel hope.

He watched as she stumbled away, and he tried to keep a good image in his mind of what she looked like. It was harder then he thought, since she was actually a friend now. "Goodbye.." he then said with a faint tone, and he turned his own body in the other direction, only to feel sad about never seeing Tal again..
