Lauren laughed. This was usually the way people reacted to her. "I'll take a shot of whisky." She grinned slyly. Sitting down. "Thanks I really appreciate it. My name is Lauren. Yours?" She leaned in her chair a little bit. Stretching out.

She half responded with a guak of utter shock at the response "Uhmm I`ll need a show of ID Miss.It's basic procedure........."She replied putting her notepad and pencil away in her apron pocket.Waiting for the ID to show up.

Olivia looked around. Seeing if she could smell other vampires. The club was so crowded, and contained so much energy, she was unsure of her senses. She walked out into the middle of the dance floor and started dancing.

Lauren grinned. Her ID was so good, that the cops couldn't even tell the difference. She pulled out her ID, and handed it to her. "See. You can't get in trouble for serving me a whiskey dear." She chuckled softly.

She looked it over it looked official to her."Mhmmmmmmm alright ."She skittered off getting another waitress to serve her the alcoholic drink she couldn't even touch."Here it's served for you anything else for you two ladies?"She asked wanting to know if she could hand out the bill.

Lauren smiled. "Thank you." She pulled a 10 out of her pocket. "I think I'm good for now. Be careful tonight. I heard that the vampires are coming out to play." She laughed softly.

"Thats a tip. I don't need and change." She smiled broadly. "And I'm pretty sure they do. I've heard that some people can smell them. Its crazy." She laughed. "But hey, I've heard they don't bite...unless you piss them off."
She smiled. "So you're new? I could show you around sometime. I mean, if you want?"

She sighed, then pulled back inside to continue reading by the moon. It was full, and you could read easily by it. She sighed again, finaly finishing her book. It was a romance novel about vampires and forbidden love. Ilumina always wished that she could, somehow, meet one. Even if it was once and only for a few minutes. 'Like that'll ever happen.' she thought ruefully. Her cat, Loomie, hopped up onto her lap. "Hey kitty." she snuggled. "You come here often?" She laughed, and scratched the silver cat behind an ear. She looked out her window again, the only sounds she could hear from her window seat was the wind and a pur.

She nodded."Yes I am new...........I don't have a lot of time though the only time I have off is after 2am."She laugh."And then at 6 i have to get to school so it's a bit hard to stay awake i guess........Thats the tip??!!Uhmm Alright thank you!"

Lauren smiled. "Well I never sleep. So on a weekend sometime, let me know and I'll show you around." She grabbed a pen out of her purse and wrote her number on a napkin. "Anytime. Enjoy your night."

"Caden, weren't you listneing to a thing I just said?" Emmett prattled on as his sister skipped happily along the street avoiding different puddles as though she was dancing. Emmett finally gave in, he knew he wasn't going to win. With a sigh he continued to prod his sister with questions to why they were here. "Why did we need this stuff tonight? We could have bought it tomorrow morning, just as easily, with plenty of time to cook it. It's too close to dusk to be out here." Emmett eyes surveyed the rather deserted streets, most people were at home inside some building, where it was atleast safe. Being out here they risked being attacked or worse being accused of being a vampire themsleves. He shifted the weight of the bags in his hands, they were baking ingredients that Caden had insisted on getting tonight. They were both wearing their wooden cross necklaces that Emmett had insisted they wear as a precaution, but in hopes that if anything were to happen, their souls would be safe. But at times with rumors like these flying around emmett wasn't quite sure what to think.
Being the oldest of the twins he had always protected his sister, but he close to sure they'd both be helpless if they ran into vampires. This was the exact opposite of how Caden viewed it. She believed the vampires weren't out to actually hurt people, whenever asked about them she'd simply reply, 'They're just trying to get by making a living just like you and me plus or minus the living part.' His sister's words rolled through his head as his sister finally answered him mid-step around another puddle.
"Emmett, honestly you were too much. We'll be home before nightfall. And you know very well that it's grandma's birthday tomorrow. She shouldn't have to wait for us to make a cake that day it should be ready for her right when she wakes up." She hymmed as she jumped up onto a concrete block and walked across it in a weird balancing act.
"What?! That's why we came out here? Caden, Grandma doesn't even eat cake nor does she like it. " Her brother said sourly.
"She may not like it, but I do!" Caden sang and she leaned back on her right leg and waited patiently for her brother to close the ground inbetween them.
"So we got ingrdients. for a cake. to celebrate. Grandma's birthday. But in reality. It's for you. That about cover this trip?" He asked a pause between every few words and he kept from yelling his detest for the entire trip.
Caden jumped down from her perch and matched her brother's height so they stood about nose to nose to facing each other. "Not entirely. Since you came with me you can have a piece of cake to." She giggled and kissed her brother gently on the cheek before turning and taking back off down the street towards their apartment.

Ilumina's gray hair got into her face as she clambored uneasily onto the roof. She scrambled for a few more minutes until she reached an inclave in the roof works. It was tucked away from view from the road, but someone inside it could see everything for miles around the old Victorian style house. She could see the ivy covered school she went to, the shopping arcade, and much else besides. Sitting in her secret spot, Ilumina watched a pair of kids around her age walk down a street a ways down the street. Her house was brooding old thing on a hill, like whoever built it wanted to keep watch over everyone like she did. Her nightly vigil was established for two reasons. One was to make sure her parents made it home at night. They often came home stumbling and usually didn't make it up the hill. Her cell phone pressed into her side, like it was expecting to be used to call a pick-up for its mistress's parental units. She shook her head sadly. The first of her reasons happened all to much. The second reason was to try to see a real vampire. Oh, sure, she'd seen shadows and the ocational voice, but nothing concrete. The floor of her room was littered in newspapers with no evidence, but she didn't care. She just wanted to meet one. Even if it ment being a little reckless.
