 Aeryn Bristow, 5th year
Aeryn stood up first and smiled at her teacher and classmates.I'm Aeryn Bristow, fifth year. I just transferred in from Carrickfergus School of Magic, which is just out of Dublin, Ireland. I was sorted into Ravenclaw here. I'm pureblood - my uncle on Mum's side went here bout 20 years ago - Seamus Finnigan. He was a Gryffindor. Oh, Professor Cartose, here is your book back...Mum sent me a copy by owl this morning. Aeryn passed the book back to the professor, and took her seat.

 Sunny Higginson, 7th yearSunny rushed into her Muggle Studies class. Late again. She was destined to spend the rest of the week in detention. She slipped in and took a seat. The class was already pretty full, but she managed to find a place next to the center aisle and two rows from the back.

 Nina Demigus, 4th year GryffindorNina had been walking as fast as she could to get into the classroom. When she had finally gotten in, her breath was heavy and she felt very irresponsibly and foolish to be coming in late. Still, she walked quietly to a desk and put her books down. She might as well introduce herself as the teacher had been saying while Nina was settling in.
She tried to stand up without being noticed before speaking. "I am Nina Demigus. This is my fourth year in Hogwarts; I'm a Gryffindor. I feel I don't really need to state my bloodline, it doesn't matter. Also, I've been on a bad streak lately with my timing on everything since about last week, my apologies for being late, Professor." Nina sat down with a half-smile on her face; happy to be done with the small ice-breaker.

He looked mad and angry, but suddenly his expression changed.
Still it's your first day so I'll let it pass. He gave a small smile to both of the girls and continued talking. Now if the introductions are done, shall we begin?

Sunny Higginson, 7th yearSunny slumped down in her seat. She wanted to appear as inconspicuous as possible. She feared this would be her pattern for the remainder of the year. She pulled out her quills and parchment and waited for Professor Cartose to begin his lesson.

Nina Demigus, 4th year GryffindorNina slumped down in her seat and took out quills and parchment, just in case. She was very glad the teacher had let her off with a small warning, she didn't want to be stuck in the Forbidden Forest. Well, that would be kinda fun, never know what's in there.. came a thought and a smirk. A little trouble making would be entertaining, but not this early in the year, not yet. Nevertheless, she had to pay attention in class. Quietly she listened for the professor to begin.

<Correct miss Higgison! Yes in fact this one comes from a Tyrannosaurus, more commonly know as a T-Rex. Now I wish we could have an actual life size replica of it but if you turn to page 12 of your Wiki Encyclopedia you can all find some more information and pictures of it. Now as a special assignment I want you all to chose your favorite dinosaur and write a short essay about it, please write this down so you don't forget it. The assignment is due next Friday.

Sunny Higginson, 7th yearSunny was fascinated by the Tyrannosaurus Rex....her parents had always told her dinosaurs were nothing but muggle fairy tales. But if Prof. Cartose was teaching about them, they must have been real!
She searched through her encyclopedia of Wiki to find out about other dinosaurs.Professor, how many inches of parchment should this essay be? And what information should we include?

<Hmm... Five inches should be more than enough, try to include all of the basic information like the scientific name, the period it belonged to and a short description of how it looks like.
That shouldn't be that hard. Any one else has questions regarding the assignment?

Nina Demigus, 4th year GryffindorNina opened up her book and glanced at the text in front of her. What stared back at her was the skeleton face of something massive. The whole thing about dinosaurs intrigued Nina, they reminded her of present-day dragons. Weird how they just died out, you'd think they could survive a little meteor, she thought with a chuckle. However, she had to focus on picking a dinosaur for her report. Seeing as she's never read into them, she has no favorite. If only I had a time-turner, then this would be a snap. Nevertheless, Nina pulled out a small notepad that her mother had gotten her and wrote down the due date for the assignment.
