I just couldn't like that album. I bought it by them and never went back to try and find another album again.
That album is quite different... being their first official release and stuff... sounds totally 70's... Since The Dark Side of The Moon their sound is not too related to Piper...
I just didn't like them.
yeah, piper is really weird and different. not a good example of floyd's music that they became famous for. you really have to be in a certain mood to appreciate that album - i imagine drugs help, but i like it and i've never listened to it while on drugs, so that cant be the only explanation...
