Jade Stars K i m m e h I have to agree with you Nuke.
Gaia's become such a sellout, and I don't find anything I should come back for, really. I don't even talk to anyone anymore, so I've basically lost all my friends.
I guess I'm only coming back for this guild, since it's the only one I post in anymore, and some people actually recognise me, or unless Gaia happens to step up and I somehow manage to meet some other amazing people. rolleyes I loveded you kimmeh <3 I am only coming back for the guild too...^_^ Everyone should.

KayCarol Ethereal Night KayCarol Am I the only one who thinks this new marketplace is absolutely going to KILL this place? sweatdrop When I read the announcement, I almost started to cry. This is NOT going to help inflation; it's only going to make it worse. crying Actually, the prices in the 3.0 marketplace are lower than the old marketplace. I think they're using the new MP in some way to curb inflation and bring it down. My guess is that's because nobody's using the new MP yet. sweatdrop Once it goes site-wide live, the prices will go through the roof. Aye, that they will. 'Tis a sad tale, but true noneth'less. i dunno...the site needs a better way to make money! so if companies are paying them to advertise..then....i think its okay confused better than charging everyone to use the site

I kinda figured out the Magic the Gathering thing, but I've been to GenCon before. Wizards of the Coast pretty much dominates GenCon, and so to get in on the con, Wizards allowed Gaia booth space in exchange for advertising one of their games. They picked Magic, likely because Magic has been experiencing a bit of a sales downfall since Collectible Miniatures Games started coming around.

They picked Magic, likely because Magic has been experiencing a bit of a sales downfall since Collectible Miniatures Games started coming around. Miniatures have been around long before Magic, but yes, they have grown in popularity recently due to all the new games coming out.

I'm a 40k player so I am more than aware of that. wink I Said Collectible Miniature Games AKA "CMGs", which were designed to replace Collectible Card Games (CCGs). Games like HeroClix and Mage Knight.
