The Shura casting the jutsu had to cancel it in order to avoid the kunai throw. Unfortunately, he was scratched by the kunai, and finished off with a poof. The jutsu casting Shura was the bushin, while the taijutsu using Shura was the real dead.

"WATAAAAH!!"

Yelling in a high pitched manner, the real Shura executes Musou Kuushou (Nil-Thought Empty Palm), which is a blast of pure chakra. He uses it to keep distance from the lava clone, which is pushed back up becuase of the blast. To gain more moment, Shura shoots out another Musou Kuushou, this time at the ground with both hands. The ground is compressed by the invisible blast as it propelled Shura even further to Deidara's location. Although his flying kick was cancelled, he can still attack thanks to the boost his previous attack gave him. He finally made it to the underbelly of Deidara's bird. He quickly digs in fingers into the bird and infuses some of chakra into the clay bird, which starts to lose it's vitality and explosive property. Weakening, the bird begins to fly towards the ground, carrying both Deidara and Shura with it.

(So the Shura beneathe you is the real deal, just you would know.)

(What does that mean?)

A very tight and crushing grip was wrapped around Deidara's left ankle. It was gripping so hard, it finally snapped and forces Deidara to kneel. Shura raised himself over the the clay dragon in front of Deidara. His entire body was soaked in blood, meaning that the debirs and shrapnel from the explosion earlier really took it's toll on him.

"A split Kage Bushin, right down to the split second when I was under the bird..."

Voracious amounts of blood fell out of his mouth, he can feel his body weakening by the amount of seconds passing. The twin horns from the clay dragon pop out of their sockets and latch on to Shura's back before denotating. The small explosion wreaked havoc on Shura's lower spine, destroying his ability to use his legs. He falls off the of the dragon and plummets to the ground from above.

Just as Deidara could proclaim his 'certain' victory, he could feel a powerful stinging sensation through his arms. He examines them and notices a series of bloody holes all over his arms at certain places, and to his horror, the mouths on his hands have closed their lips tightly. These wounds looked more like penetrating bullet wounds. He tries to bring out his chakra and even tries to move his arms, but to no avail.

~ Ougi: Musou Fuudanken (Secret Technique: Nil-Thought Violent Fist Sealing) ~

The dragon that Deidara was on suddenly knocks off it's owner off it's back. The same wounds on Deidara appeared on the dragon's belly, causing it to explode. Deidara lands hard on a tree, which happened to be near a series of volcanoes and a city (Iwagakure). Shura fell from the dragon acres back, far from Iwagakure's territory. Deidara remembered the words Shura was mouthing to him when he was falling:


"Ugh.... If you don't seek medical attention soon... You will never be able to use your arms... for anything... heh heh..."

Shura hits hard against a blue lake in the middle of the woods, his appearance shrouded by the shifting water currents.
(Good fight man, seriously you've given me a run for the money.)

(Yep, you fell smack right into a river. It can't be possible you're still alive >_> The air pressure would have killed you if those wounds didn't. DX)

(Heh, well sorry. But I made a total dedication to your death, if you don't stay dead Deidara will be pretty pissed. Lol.)

(Alright, that would be nice, I got one! Reborn as a Iwa shinobi then later betraying Iwa, joining Akatsuki and taking as my apprentice >D )
