Rhm was running this way and that through the halls, looking at everything and only halfway trying to figure out where to go. Pan nipped him lightly on the ear and said, "I think that woman over there might know something. She's handed a lot of people things already." Rhm changed his course mid stride and walked quickly to the woman. He opened his mouth to greet and she interrupted him. "Name?"
"Er, Rhm Kinomoto." He pointed to the ermine on his shoulder. "And this is my familiar, Pan." Pan looked at the woman and said hello even though she knew the woman wouldn't understand her. Far as her and Rhm knew, no one could understand Pan except for Rhm.
The woman drew a wad of things out consisting of a room key, map, and schedule and handed them to Robert. "Move along."
Rhm handed the keycard to Pan, who gripped it in her teeth, and glanced at the map. His room was circled "Looks like we're in M101, Pan. Let's see if we can't find it." They walked into the crowd of people heading in their room's general direction.

(( Since a lot of us have the same classes, shouldn't we have some kind of real schedule to know which classes come first? ))

Ax stepped into his room and looked around. Comet instantly jumped from his shoulder and ran to a bed to sleep on. Opening his suitcase he threw a fleece blanket on the bed. Next he put his clothes in the chest of drawers. He hummed a tune as he put some things on his desk and put some books on the shelf. "Comet, you better actually do something this year other than sleep," he said laying out a few toys.

"Hopefully we don't get a dog person for a roomate," Ax said jokingly to Comet. He sat on his bed and pet the purring cat on the belly. After 2 minutes of this she started attacking his hand.

((^^; You guys jumped the gun on me! I was planning on puttung up schedules today, but anyway, they're up now in the Classes/Clubs section. If anyone has any questions or ideas, feel free to pm me.))

Asako finally reached the East wing after about five minutes. It had taken her a bit longer because she was so amazing by the castle that she kept getting sidetracked by the sites. At last, however, she came to the door marked 101.

This is it! she thought excitedly. Soon I'll meet my new roommates! I hope they're fun--no boring, plain girls for me, nuh-uh! She thought with vehemance. Asako was a party girl, who liked adventure and excitement and fun--and having a roomate (Or two; she thought. I think it was two.) who was studious and straight-laced would be a major drag.

She set her suitcase down as she put her key into the lock, her ears pricking up with excitement as she turned it and opened the door. Hauling up her suitcase again, she walked into the room.

Uwah~ she cried silently to herself upon entering the room. This wasn't even the whole room. This was just a living room. "Amazing~" she cried outloud, unable to stop herself. "This is so~ cool! Such a big place to live in--it sure beats my old dump!" she set down her suitcase by the door and twirled around happily, arms thrown up in the air. "Wai~!" she cried happily. "I feel like a princess~!"

"They sure do! I'm Rhm." He smiled and pointed to the snow-white ermine on his shoulder. "And this is my familiar, Pan." He turned a bit. "We're gonna go unpack, then maybe we can compare schedules." He grinned and walked out.

He entered his room and shut the door with his tail. Pan instantly flowed down his body and leg and onto the bed. "Our roommate seems... nice," she said. Rhm could tell that she was a little wary of him; maybe even wary of the cat. "Come on, Pan, I'm sure he's fine," he replied. He began taking out the few things he had brought: a couple well-worn books, and wool blanket his foster mom had made, and a few changes of clothes which he put into the first drawer of the dresser. They barely took up half a drawer. Rhm flopped down on the bed, kicking off the thin sandals his was wearing. He turned to Pan. "I think that cat is just a normal cat," he said, "so you've got to be the grownup one around here and not get into fights, 'k?"
She curled up and didn't say anything. Rhm smiled: she'd do fine. He got up and grabbed his schedule from the side table. "I'm gonna go talk with Ax, you want to come?" Pan considered it then shook her head and laid down again. "'K, be back in a few." He walked out the door and headed to Ax's room, running a hand over the varnished wood of the counter-tops as he did.

"Hello there...I take it you are a student?"

"Uwah?!" Asako said, startled by a girl who seemed to come from nowhere. She dropped her arms and nearly fell down, before she managed to crouch down on the floor and stand back up, only slightly embarrassed. She stroked her tail, brushing out the hair sticking up to a smooth, albeit bushy, position.

The girl, who was in a variety of browns, -tanned skin, dark hair, big brown eyes- reminding Asako vaguely of chocolate, approached her and added, "I'm Anne, I'm new here, just arrived about...fifteen minutes ago. And you are?"

Asako grinned widely, showing her two small, pointed canine teeth, and said in a friendly voice, "Hey there! I'm Asako. I'm new here, too." then she added, "Sorry about that. I didn't know anyone was here, and the room was just so~ incredible...I got carried away. So, yeah, you startled me. Eh heh..." she smiled sheepishly, reaching up to scratch the back of her neck.

Jonas entered room 101, west wing holding a map, schedule, and room key. He hoped that the two roomates he saw were the sort he may be able to get along with. He walked across the living room to the window on the other side. "I hope we don't mind if I keep this window open," he said as he opened it, "I like to let Rajir have free reign." At those words a black hawk flew in to land on his shoulder.

"Hello Rhm, I'm Jonas, and this is my Familiar, Rajir." The hawk gave a small squeak at his mention. "And hello Pan, It's nice to meet you both." Jonas noticed that the boy was a bit jittery. I believe that he is...distracted by my presence. I will leave. At the end of this Thought to Jonas, Rajir flew out the window to roost in a nearby tree. "If you wish, Rajir will only meet me in my room, so as not to bother you."
