kuntrykid Rockula kuntrykid Rockula humans have souls and animals dont? xd i guess i gotta give you credit fro that, people normally say 'humans think animals dont' There's not even proof that humans have souls (i believe we do, but still, theres no proof rolleyes ) and by gods i mean superior, why kill living creatures to save us, who gave us that right I think that animals think... they process logic and use instinct where they think it's appropriate. I don't, however, believe that they think on the level that humans do. Humans shouldn't kill for no reason but if there is a reason, especially if it is to save a human, we have the right to kill. And on another note, I don't think that there can ever be proof that humans have souls. I still dont see how we have the right to kill, its not like we're doing it in self defence or something rolleyes And of course, there's no proof that humans have souls, why are you so sure that animals dont? 1:We may not be killing in self-defense but we are killing in self-preservation. 2:Are you saying that it's the same to kill an ant as it is to kill a human? yeah cause we are in danger of extinction rolleyes ohh i see youre talking about, the siize! yeah er.. no we're not the same =D but we're not better than them. why would animals have to save us?

Have you ever intentionally killed an ant, termite or any other bug? intentionally intentionally? i dont think so, i think i killed a tiny spider once cause it was on teh remote, oh and some mosquitoes cause they were eating my leg, pretty impressive, but i guess its because im too scared of cockroaches to kill em, and i dont like the sound crickets make when you step on them, and mosquitoes leave blood all over your hand when you smack them, kinda gross...maybe some ants, but on self defence too, i guess, i dont go chasing insect to kill em for fun. Anyways, i didnt find the cure for cancer when i killed the spider or the mosquitoes.. hmm i think i should stop doing it.

So you killed a spider because it was on the remote which was not in self defense. Also, you were saying that we're not any better than animals which means that you think that humans and animals are essentially the same. So, either you're a murderer or animals don't have souls.

I don't agree with it.
It's an animals, and it has thoughts and free will of it's own. We shouldn't have to subject it to torture. And how do we know if it hurts the animal? We don't. And animals react differently to chemicals than humans. Why don't they test them on death row prisoners? It would show more accurate results, and they would be doing one thing to help humanity.
Just because humans think they are above animals, doesn't mean they are.
