To Sorow's surprise, the girl managed to bring the fox's attention, without doing anything. He couldn't grasp how a fox, a wild creature like that would suddenly turn so tame around a girl. She must be good with animals, at least, that's the only thing he could think of that would make any sence. He took a deep breath, pulled himself away from the window and looked to his notebook that sat on his bed. He picked up the journal, opened the door to his nightstand and slid it in there, shutting the door to that back and walked towards the door. Sorow didn't like anyone knowing he wrote poems, songs and music, it didn't seem very masculine.

His stomach growled again, this time louder, to be absolutely sure that his attention was grasped. "I hear ya I hear ya," he said quietly patting his abdomin. Sorow shut the door behind him, walked down the hall and headed to the large cafeteria, which looked more like a restauraunt/cafe. He looked around for a moment, in awe for himself before he had seen someone else down here, maybe someone he could socialize with.

Just a few feet away from him was the bartop, where students could order a meal and sit at the countertop to eat. One of the ladies who worked there told him they weren't open yet, but that he could order a snack while he waited.

"That's fine, I'll have a glass of orange juice for now." The lady handed him his glass and he took it with pleasure.

Mitsie continued to walk towards the large school, the way she had come. She made it to the door the cafeteria, and then stopped. "I'm not going to take you in just yet, Kikaro." She smiled and walked to the wall she slept on earlier that morning. It was about 10am now. As she did so, the fox curled up in her arms and began to nuzzle her stomach softly, she giggled at this and began to pet it's spine gently. "It feels good to have my first friend here. I don't know anyone." She sighed at her words, and then went back to Kikaro, noticing the boy that she had seen earlier at the table near the windows, he was alone as well.

It took Sorow a second to notice that the same girl he had seen outside was comming to this school as well. At first, he thought it was a cooincidence seeing her outside, but noting she was attending this school as well made things a little more interesting.

Sorow had been attending this school for two years now, and he knew the routines quite well, but he had not seen this girl here before, she had to be new. Since today was a day off, he figured if he needed to give any tours around, he could do it today. Doing his best, Sorow tried to hide the yawn, and look attentive, but after staying up the whole night with absolutely nothing on his mind, he felt his body take a toll on him.

Taking the glass he took another brisk sip of his beverage, watching the girl attentively, the two had seemed to be the only ones up at the moment, unusual, but he was too tired to decide what was normal and what was not.

Busy with her new found friend, Mitsie didn't notice that she was being watched. As she continued to play with the creature in her lap, she looked up and met the eyes of the same boy she had seen in the window.

"O god!" She thought, as she blushed, and looked away quickly. "I wasn't expecting to see him again, at least not today."

Trying to act like nothing had happened, she twitched slightly when the fox shifted in her lap. As her attention returned to the fox, she reassured herself that she hadn't just looked like a flustered little school girl.

Sorow gave a bit of a chuckle, watching her carefully, and yet, he did not say anything outloud, not wanting to catch her off guard or at best making her even more nercous. It was quiet mornings like this that gave him a headache, things were unmoved, there weren't any voices, or anything to surprise him, everything just remained calm. He moved his head down, staring at the glass, his eyes unmoved, reflecting the orange glow that came from the sun's rays. It looked like breakfast would run a little late, and he wanted to really eat something before he went to his music room, where he tought music during some weekdays, and in his spare time, he would write music. That room was his getaway, and now, there was nothing to get away from.

Just before Mitsie had turned, she had seen the boy giggling at her. This just made her turn even more red. She his her face from him, so he wouldn't see her turning a bright red.

Once she stopped blushing, she took the chance, and looked back at him. This time he was starring into his glass. She noticed it was full of orange juice and the sun was casting a soft orange light one his face when he was looking at the liquid. "I wonder what he's thinking..." She whispered to Kikaro, still in her lap, curled up and resting now.

She decided to go inside, it was getting a little hot for her, she liked the cold better. As she stood up, she cradled the fox a little bit tighter, she knew he would be scared when he saw other people. Slowly, she rose and walked to the door, pushing it open with her side. After the door closed, she looked around and decided to buy some fruit, she was a bit hungry now. Walking over to the fruit stand, she kept glancing at the boy. She couldn't help herself from glancing, at least.

This was the kind of morning that Stella liked. Well, that really wasn't saying much, seeing as how Stella liked every morning. But, today especially, she was happy. The sun was shining, but it wasn't too hot. The grass was lush and much wilflife had been seen around campus, enjoying the pleasant weather. It was a happy day.

She sat alone in the cafeteria, not because of preference, but because she often was over-enthusiastic when meeting people... and often scared them off. Was it really her fault that she liked people? Stella picked up a large piece of juicy mango and was chewing it when she spotted the new girl.

It caused little waves of excitement and happiness to pass through her as she leapt out of her seat and landed in front of the distracted girl. She was looking at another person and nearly ran into Stella.

"Hiya!" Stella said, trying to tone down her exuberance. "Isn't this a lovely morning?"

Tae slowly walked through the hallways. It was a rainy Saturday. No classes, nor a thing to do. She watched all the other students, who, by the looks of it, had found something to entertain them. "What is there to do around here?" she asked herself, as she continued to drag on. As she reached the library, she shrugged her shoulders and walked in. Tae noticed an empty chair and slid into it. There was a book on the table, "Hmm.. The Tale Of Three Regions" she read aloud. "Sounds boring." She then picked up another book, " Because of Winn - Earl" she recited. "Wow, none of these books seem the least bit interesting." she told herself as she put down the book. She stood up and walked down the the narrow hallways between bookshelves. Her fingers ran along each book as she walked. Something stopped her dead in her tracks. A large leather bound book. She picked it up and ran her fingers along the engraved letters in the book's cover. "How mystical." she said as she flipped through it's worn out pages.

Sorow picked his head up and jumped a little when he heard someone spoke, the sudden sound of a voice was enough to actually catch his attention. His golden eyes met the two girls, noting that someone else had finally waken up. He rubbed his temple and stood up, hoping that they would be serving breakfast now, at least now that he could smell food and people were waking up.

He took another step towards the bar, sitting on the stool and leaned over to get a whiff of whatever they were cooking. It felt a little weird, reaching at his side and not picking up his book, but he dismissed the idea and went back to skimming over the menu.

"O s**t!" Mitsie shrieked as some strange girl appeared in front of her. She fell over from shock, her bag and the contents of it flying everywhere.

"I'm sorry..." She said as she stood up, she could feel Kikaro shivering in her arms, scared half to death. She just cradled him tightly and cooed softly in his ear. "I guess it is...a nice morning..." She whispered as she started to pick up her things with one hand, holding the fox in the other.

Her sketch pad was still turned to the sketch of the fox she had draw earlier, and she saw that it was near the boy she had been staring at, right next to his foot. She was so embarrassed that she just grabbed her bag and ran out of the cafeteria, leaving all it's contents strewn about the floor.

Stella looked slightly disappointed, but hid it with with a humorless laugh. I always come on too strong, she thought, sitting dejectedly at her original table. She bit into the rests of her mango, the bright color and sweet flavor cheering her up.

Was that a fox she had in her arms? She smiled at the thought. How positively adorable! And the drawing that had spilled upon the floor was so life like. That must have been one inspirational fox. Stella laughed.

Maybe she would see that skittish girl in the halls and could apologize for startling her so badly. And maybe she would even see the fox again. Maybe she could even help the girl smuggle it around the anti-pets school. All these factors made Stella optimistic. She leaned back in the chair and smiled at the warmth of the sun.

Sorow looked down near his shoe, to notice the drawing left behind, for some reason, the girl left with a shrill, and he wasn't too sure why. That's what happened when he didn't pay much attention to his surrounding. He looked over at Stella, picking up the sketchbook and handed it to her, with a slight tilt in his head, pondering out loud.

"I'm not sure if you knew who she was or not, guessing you did because you two were talking, but she left this behind. It's a rather pretty picture, I don't think she would be very happy if she lost it." He slipped back onto the stool, looking up at the clock, clicking away as the minutes continued to pass through. There was only fifteen minutes left before he would head out, working on his next piece in the music room. Sorow liked going there at this time, 10:30 because the music room was always open for about two hours, which he would use to occupy himself.

Mitsie was still extremely flustered, "Why'd she do that? Couldn't she see I was distracted?" She thought to herself as she slowed to a walk now. Panting loudly, she held the fox and made her way back to her dorm. "Oh no...I left all of my stuff..." She said softly to herself as she reached her dorm.

She shook it off, and then entered her dorm. She threw her bag down with one hand and tried to calm the still scared fox in her arms. "My sketchbook was in there...My drawings, my notebook, too." She said to herself. "Guess I'm buying new ones unless someone can find me and return them."

Standing up, she moved to the bathroom in her dorm, and set down the fox. Just before she closed it all the way, she smiled at the fox, and nodded, as if to say, "Everything will be ok, Kikaro." She closed the door and then flopped onto her bed.

With a huge and elated smile, Stella accepted the responsibility of returning the sketchbook, conveniently leaving out the fact that she hadn't learned the other girl's name. It'll be making ammends, she thought cheerfully.

"I'm sorry," said Stella, trying to keep calm (she only wanted to scare one person per day, max), "I don't think I caught your name. My friend will be pleased to know that it was you who was kind enough to notice her sketchbook. I would like to tell her exactly who it was."

Stella happily hung onto the book, planning to go next to the office to search out this mystery fox girl. Stella inclined her head. "Come on, you can tell me. I swear, I won't jump out and scare you!"
