Well I guess I'll just try harder next time. The thing that probably made me lose the contest was the bad publicity. xd

Hey wait weren't we goona have a riddle or poetry contest next? question
cause those are my specialties. I was asked personally by my English teacher to go into the creative writing club and got one of my peoms into a book called Excellence. 3nodding
wait a minute I paid $45.00 to get a copy of that book in 6th grade!!! scream
CRP I'VE BEEN CHEATED OUT OF $45.00!!! scream
I'm goona give them a piece of my mind... and get a copy and some money back. It's been 2 yrs. I think the price went down at least a half price.

XDD Poetry is fun. Though, unfortunately, my style is somewhat reminiscent of Robert Frost. He and his silly "and many miles to go before I sleep"! In syntax, at least, I will admit, we have our similarities.
Excerpt from my OWN writing (just to show the difference):
"...
The snow-capped peaks tower over all,
An implacable, unchangeable, green-flecked barrier;
The owl settles in her wind-tossed home,
A queen able to see all her kingdom;
The glacier inches inexoraably down,
Creaking and forcing even mountains to move.
The glacier travels, unstoppable.
As do I.
For I have many, many miles to go.
And ever many more.
...
Death beckons to me with her cold white hands,
A welcome after all of the loneliness;
A single owl hoots a baleful farewell,
And I think that she, at least, knows of me;
The frigid Styx burbles,
A song to help me on my way.
The Styx goes on.
And now for I.
For I have one last mile to go,
But never any more."
The poem written, of course, in honor of Chris McCandless, who ventured into the wilderness of Alaska and starved there in an abandoned bus, three miles away from salvation. In case you don't know who he is, look up the title "Into the Wild" and you'll find out shortly.
And, obviously, with a number of verses left out. There were like, nine. Too lazy to count.

Decorating'd get kind of unfair; it'd be really slanted in favor of older, richer members, with more gold to spend on it. Plus, the costs of decorating would outweigh the prize benefits. A dream house contest, though, using Tektek or similar, could work...
EDIT: No, wait, it's not Tektek that had the house simulator. Can't remember which site it was...
