He shrugged softly at her mention of the sea and the mountains. Though he had heard of those, head had never seen them. Even though they sounded incredibly amazing, he wasn't ready to leave his mother or Cerek behind for very long just to go see them. The most he had been away from them was a couple of days, and his mother had been irritable by the time he had finally come home. "If I can ever convince mother to leave the forest, I may see them one day," it was doubtful, but that's all he could really say to it. If his mother left, he would leave.
"I've been into the plains around it, as far as I really felt like going. I've only ever been outside of the forest for a day or two, then I come home. The plains are incredibly boring compared to the thriving life inside of the trees here," he said, shifting his hooves again and tilting his head at her. Why was she so determined for him to see things? He was perfectly comfortable never seeing anything but the trunks of these trees for the rest of his life. Of course, if he or Cerek ever started a family, they'd have to move out of the forest - there just wasn't room for a small herd in here.

She wasn't liking this. He hadn't even been to the beach? It was only the other side of the forest.
"Right follow me. I won't take you far and annoyingly we have to move further into the forest to get out the other side. You are however going to see the sea today, have the sand under your hooves. Its a strange feeling I can tell you that. Come on." She wouldn't take no for an answer, she was very pushy and somewhat stubborn as well. To her it was a crime to stay stuck in the forest. Yes it was interesting in the forest but it wasn't as beautiful as some of the places out of the forest!
"Come on!" She urged before starting to walk off in a random direction. She wasn't going to let him keep himself cooped up in here for much longer and she longed to stretch her wings properly.

He had opened his mouth at first to make some excuse worth staying here. Of course, he realized very quickly that he didn't have any excuse at all for this and that he would just have to suck it up and go. After all, his mother should be alright for a little while by herself - it wasn't like she wasn't capable of being on her own. Besides, what was a few more minutes added to this little trip, anyway?
With a little sigh, he began to walk after her, catching up and walking more or less at her side so that he wouldn't have to follow. "Alright, alright, I'll go - but I don't want to stay forever, ok?" He glanced at her with that worried little frown. He was really unsure about going somewhere he had never been before this. He would trust her though, after all, it wasn't like she was leading him into a death trap.

She led him through the forest, not really having a clue what way she was heading but she could faintly smell the salty sea and that was enough to tell her what direction to go in.
Osi moved quickly moving between tree's sometimes jumping the occasional fallen tree. She didn't like the forest, she felt so cramped and caged in when eventually the golden sands appeared in front of her she just smiled. She hadn't spoken much on the way there just because she wanted to hurry up getting to the beach!
She managed to get out onto the sands and the first thing she did was open her wings. It was nice to be able to stretch them fully without the worry of tree's near by. It had taken them a while to get there but now she was happy to talk again.
"This is the beach. The sand may feel a little odd under your hooves, but go down the sea, it's a wonderful feeling, the sea lapping at your legs." She smiled happily hoping he would at least try it out.
