DraconPhoenix Avsky its funny how most of you think its all about satan, the true fact is that most of the black metal bands write about ANTI religious stuff, as in beeing independent and not beliving in any fairytales haha. I never said it was about satan..*points to his post* Some are about nature xp thats why i said most of you blaugh

I have got a true story for you guys if you haven't heard of it already....
Ever heard of the black metal band mayhem ok well there is this dude Count Grinshack and he gets mad really mad because one of his band members goes of and eats the brain of another band member and performs satanic rituals on his brain....So then Grinshack goes and kills the dude that ate his band members brains Grishnack stabs him 28 times and then performs satanic rituals on him he does this all because he was mad that the other band member was more satanic\nastier\more evil then him....Now Grishnack is in jail and he almost escaped once sweatdrop eek .....Oh and I think the dude ate the other guys brains by boiling em' thats what my friend says...lol

Grishakh had a grudge against Euronymous, because he didn't release a new Burzum-album on his label, Deathlike Silence. He planned the murder, and went for a 5-6 hour long drive from Bergen to Euronymous' apartment in Oslo. He goes into his home, they start to argue, and then Grishnakh stabs Euronymous 17 times on various spots. There where no satanic ritual involved. You also mixed it all up with Dead's suicide. Allthough that wasn't any satanic either. Dead commits suicide, and when Euronymous, Necrobutcher and Hellhammer finds him, Euronymous picks up pieces of Dead's skull, and makes a "jewelry" of it, and gives it to the closest friends of Dead. He also eats a few fragments of his splattered brain, just to have lived the experience of eating something of a human. It's true that Varg escaped prison. He had a "day off" from Jail. (if you behave well, you can get this here in Norway), and he didn't return to the prison when he should have. The police found him either the day after, or the same day, on the highway into Oslo.

I don't listen to to much Black, but I like Emperor alot, and I guess cradle of filth, But they are this (***) close to becomeing corporate mainstream black metal. and when that happens I expect a big change in sound, which is bad.
