Alaura had been walking for such a long time, yet still she felt no fatigue. She had amazing stamina, and had paced herself well enough to get from that last village to Aldon City. She stepped through the gates and was immediately hit with a whole different type of frenzy. There were huge crowds of people about, even though it was still early in the day. They all seemed to have somewhere to go, or something important to do. Now the true test came in, how to remain unseen. Surly with all these people about, someone would spot a hooded figure slipping through the crowd. But grace and practice allowed her to slip through the people without touching a single one, and she headed off towards the marketplace. It was one of her favourite places to visit, to see the wares that others had created and now tried to sell.

She passed through the last row of houses into a vast square, where carts and their venders were strewn about in an intricate maze. She weaved her way through, stopping at several carts to examine the goods. She stopped at a rather lavish cart, brimming with sparkling jewels. Had anyone been able to see her eyes, they would have noticed a rather odd gleam in them. It was not well known among any race, but gems held magical properties. The more pure the gem, the more pure the magic. As a creature of magic, bound by its ways, she could not help but admire such well shaped objects. In particular, a sapphire necklace seemed to stand out. The pendant was in a tear drop cut, and it was adorned by a well woven white gold frame, which laced around the jewel in a vine-like pattern. Alaura could not take her eyes off this pretty piece, it seemed to call to her. She managed to convince the vender to let her hold it, only for a minute. In that brief time, a feeling rushed over her like none she had ever felt before. She knew she had to have this piece, but surely such a purchase would not go unnoticed. Now the debate raged in her mind, whether it was worth the risk.

Casually his eyes drifted to the crowd once more as he finished his bread. A bluish blur made its way through the crowd and he raised his eyebrows at the sight. "Hm" He said, not paying it much attention at first. "Foreigners...." he said with a simple shrug of his shoulders. He reclined on the edge of the fountain, sitting by the base as he looked onward at the marketplace, taking in the sun.

He still had a good twenty minutes to kill before making his way to the castle, so he convinced himself that he needed to check out the local wares. He placed his hand on his knee and propped himself to his feet and sighed. He wished he could dawdle like this all the time, but there was work to be done soon.

He sang to himself as he passed by merchants and customers

"Well I fell into prison about a quarter till three
Where I found in my cell a glass waiting for me
So I filled what was empty and I pulled up a stool
But he stood in the corner, the old devil wouldn't move
He said, "You drink when you're lonely." No I drink when I want!
He said, "You'll never be sober." Sure. Why would I want that?
I only drink to be merry but unfortunately
I'm in the wrong prison cell and the wrong company"

The last note faded away as he began to head for a last minute drink.

Alaura's attention was swayed from her near purchase of the piece of fine jewelry when a tune came to her ears. She looked about in curiousity, quite caught up by the simple melody. A light smile played across her lips as she spotted a man walking through the crowd. The tune seemed to come from him, though it was short and soon over. Now completely driven by her intense curiousity, she abandoned the gem she so desired and began to follow the man. She was a bit behind him, and she walked casually, stopping now and then, so that she would go unnoticed. Something nagged in the back of her mind, cautioning her to turn away now before she lead herself into danger, but she pushed that tiny voice far from her thoughts and continued forward.

She was happy to still be hidden by her cloak, so even should the man notice, he would not truly see who followed him. She also kept her wits about her, seeing openings in the crowd as possible escape routes, should such a thing be needed. Her footsteps were silent, her gaze intent, locked on the man she now followed.

He decided he would leave the Hell's Pass and out toward the Hume city, Aldon. He'd heard the City had become rather popular and was buzzing with many merchants and travelers, so he whistled loud and sharp with his fingers, and surely, his traveling companion arrived. A flaming demon horse named Dirimal, Sebi had bonded with him well over the years, and Sebi never traveled anywhere without him. Sebi climbed upon his back, and they ran through the trechreous ledges of the Hell's Pass and out towards the Battlegrounds between the two Cities.

>>(Hours Pass)
He traveled around the Battlegrounds and toward the Aldon City, When he was on the outskirts of the City, he dismissed Dirimal and snuck quietly into the City. He used a "Transformation Scroll" to change his apperance for 1 Hour. He changed his haircolor to Blonde, and his eyecolor was now blue. Now, he had to find his next victims..

He poked his head into the bar and noticed it was pretty bustling. Not surprising, considering that some people were just getting off, town guards were ending their afternoon shifts, and people needed liquid refreshment on this glorious day.

A few patrons at the bar recognized him, and greeted him with a simple "ey" as he stood in the doorway and gave an overly dramatic bow. They recognized him as the man who came every now and then and sang a tune for them. Today he was rather busy, there'd be no time for hanging around singing all day.

"No song-singing today gentleman, I've got official business for the king today! Apparently he wants to see me about something..."

He gave a shrug of those lean shoulders and rolled his eyes. "Of course, I got here too early and I've just been killing time....so pass over a pint" He said, gesturing to the ale that was being served to the others. As the pint reached his hand he tilted his head back, sipping the refreshing beverage. As the cool liquid passed through his lips his closed his eyes a bit to savor the taste a little more.

"Ah..." As he looked up at the bar. He noticed the patrons were all staring at him, and with a roll of his eyes, he said "all right, a quick song"

"How hard is my fortune
How vain my repining
The strong rope of fate
For my young neck is twining
My strength has departed
My cheeks sunk and sallow
As I languish in chains
In the jail of Delano

Next sunday the pattern
At home will be keeping
The lads of the village
The fields will be sweeping
And the dance of fair maidens
The evening will hallow
While this heart
Young and gay
lies cold in Delano"

His voice trailed off amidst roars and applause. He waved his hand and said "All right gents. I'll be back later" And with that, he slammed down the empty pint glass and got ready to jog off, realizing that he was behind schedule.

Sebi saw a man enter a popular City bar, cleverly named The Dragon Rose Pub, he was very strange looking to him and Sebi was interested in him immediately. He decided this man would be his next target. He smirked and he casually stepped out from the dark alleys and made his way to The Dragon Rose Pub and entered. Some of the men in the Pub actually knew him, while he was in this form, and they would acknowledge his presence when he entered. He seemed to be a rather popular figure in this town, yet nobody knew who he truely was.

He smiled and waved to his Hume companions and walked up to the bar, sitting upon a chair and ordering a glass of Tomato Juice from the Bartender. The Bartender smiled and got to his order right away, this man was a regular here. The Bartender returned and set the glass before him and nodded,"This one is on the house. Its good to see you again, Ibes." The Bartender said. So, his Hume form was named Ibes. He wasn't interested in small talk with the Bartender though, and he'd grin when he heard his Hume target sing. He certainly knew now this man was very special, and he would be a challenging target.

Alaura had followed the singing man into the bar, curious to see if he would sing again. She had very little wits when curiousity took hold, and it had certainly taken hold. She was, however, smart enough to take a seat away from the others, near the back of the room. Her eyes became fixed on the man as she heard the word 'Delano', a word that was all too familiar to this woman. She watched as he began to leave the bar, and debated whether she wished to follow him once. She decided against it and sat back in her seat, resting her delicate hands on the table before her. Her golden eyes shifted about the room, yet still her face remained hidden by the hood of her cloak.

She ordered some ale and listened to the conversations going on about her. This was how she got most of her information about a place or a culture.

Sebi sensed another presence had entered the bar, he slowly looked over his shoulder and saw a woman enter the bar. He glared, he disliked women, he thought they were always trouble. He just sighed and turned back to the bartender, taking a sip of his tomato juice. The bartender was trying to spark conversation with him, but Sebi was in no mood to chit-chat with the Humes of this town.

He set his glass down and stood, approaching the male Hume that he had followed into the bar. Some of the men has stepped back when he found his place infront of the male Hume, and he grinned. The men looked at him in awe, they knew something was peculiar about this supposed Hume.
"You can sing very well, I see. You sing of the Delano, isn't that true? That means you must have some sort of experience with them?" He said, as if he were interrogating the Hume, but something about his voice was alluring and made him stick out among a crowd of normal Humes.

"Yes, I do sing of the Delano. It's a family song..." He said defensively as he noted the man's tone. "I'm sorry I don't have more time to discuss it, but I really need to get going...business with the king and all" He said with a shrug of his shoulders, trying to play down the task he had. It seemed that there was a lot of attention still on him at the bar, but it wasn't unusual. He felt nothing ominous about the presences around him, and his only regret at the moment was that he couldn't converse with the man in front of him.

He gave the bartender a nod as he put some money on the counter for his ale. He looked back at the man and gave a nod of goodbye, then abruptly left the bar.
The sun hit him right in the eyes as he winced and used his hand to shade himself, walking around people in the crowded area. He accidentally bumped into someone and apologized, realizing he was being more clumsy than he usually was after a drink. He simply smirked and kept walking, the castle only about ten minutes away now. Once again he sifted through his pockets: His food was gone, he still had his weapons, a little less gold...everything important was still with him.

Alaura had seen a man glare at her, and her golden eyes flashed momentarily with anger. She guessed, by the look of the man, that she was far older than him. Yet it was not merely his physical appearance, but the look in his eyes. A person's eyes, no matter what race, could tell you all you needed to know about said person. A person's true age lay hidden in their eyes. She was likely older than any being in that city, for though she had a youthful appearance, she was far older than even she truly knew. Everything about her remained hidden by that dark blue cloak of hers, including the anger that flashed through her eyes. Had it been under different circumstances, she may have taken the time to teach this man to respect his elders, but she could not risk being seen. Finding she grew bored of this banter, and now agitated by the glare she had recieved, Alaura finished her drink and took her leave of the bar. She paused as she stepped out of the building, letting the warmth of the sun wash over, and was reminded of something that had sparked interest and debate in her not too long before.

She turned abruptly and made her way gracefully through the crowd, back the way she had come, and straight over to the merchant selling rather fine jewelry. The necklace she had been eyeing before was still there, and she had made up her mind. It was a pure sapphire, and therefore its magical properties were high. Though it was valuable to the humes for its delicate chain and fine cut gem, it was far more valuable to Alaura, and for a far greater reason. She quickly shoved the gold into the man's hands, not staying to see that look of greed that overtook him. She made her way easily through the square to find a nearby inn. She gave them a false name, one of many that she used, and paid for a room in which to stay. She thanked the innkeeper for his kindness and made her way to her room. Once she had securely shut the door and closed the blinds, she was free to shed herself of that often bothersome cloak. Delicate hands wrapped about her hood, pulling it back and revealing her features. She had long white hair, which was tied back out of her face. This also kept it from slipping out of her hood and drawing unneccessary attention to herself. Her golden eyes shifted about the room, taking in the dim light and wooden appearance. She sat on the bed and pulled out her newly aquired trinket. It sparkled in the firelight that a small candle afforded. Her eyes fixed on the gem, seeming to cast their own strange glow as she became entranced with this fine piece of jewelry. She was trying to figure out what its magical properties were.

Sebi growled under his breath in irritation as the man left, and he had noticed something strange about the woman who'd recently entered. But once his sights were fixated on a target, he wouldn't cease until he captured them, or he died in the process. He decided to leave the bar and he would follow the man secretively, using his vampiric instincts to stalk him without being noticed.

He wasn't sure what was so interesting about this average Hume, but he knew that there must be something. He said he had an errand with the King, Edward Aldon, so he must be a rather important person.
Yet, suddenly, his disguising scroll's effects wore off and he returned to his original appearance. Dark, and abnormal amongst regular Humes. He swore under his breath and decided he would hide in the shadows whilst following this Hume, and if anyone suspected him, he would kill them.

Matari threw her fist forward once more, it was quickly blocked and she found herself at satring up at the sky for 50th time today. She was beginning to think that this teacher was much harder than her master. There was something about him though that she could sense he was trying to teach her.
"AGAIN!" The teacher yelled at her. She didn't really feel like going another round with this man, yet she knew she should. She wearily got up, and began her assault. Left jab, right jab, kick. It was almost as if the teacher already knew what she was going to do. She was sent once more to the ground, her face still looking up at that early morning sky.
She sighed this time and decided to ask. "Teacher, what is it that I'm not getting about your training? My last master said he taught me everything he knew."
"What is it you ask? I cannot properly tell you that at this time, but perhaps once you notice what you are doing, and not just what your opponent is doing..." His vocie trailed off. The suddenly his eyes sharpened on her. "What time is it?"
"I don't know," She responded. "Early morning? Before noon."
"My, we've been training for so long, how time flies doesn't it?" he turned around. "I'm off to train the soldiers now."
"Yes of course." She was still lying there on the ground, she knew that just a small ways down the road was the castle, she wasn't allowed in there or anything special, but her teacher would often let her in for luncheon.
Matari sighed, knowing that now there was nothing to do, her eyes meandered across the vast sky, she pulled her gauntlet to her from the nearby corner of the training area, her training sessions playing in her mind's eyes as she stared at the gauntlet.

Joyce looked at the sky and cursed silently under his breath. This was a time he needed to use his magic. He quickly made an abrupt right, losing himself in the crowed for a moment, and then ducked in an alleyway where he bit his lower lip. As he felt blood rush into his mouth, he spat. From his blood burst forth a blood red allosaurus with amber eyes. He patted the scaly beast on the head and threw his leg over the side of him so he could ride.

Suddenly the allosaurus burst into the crowd. Confused and afraid, a few screamed. Joyce merely waved his hand and said " 'Scuse me, comin' through" he rode the dinosaur towards the castle and hummed to himself as he waved to citizens of the town who looked like they were about ready to soil themselves. He saved his blood summoning for times when he was in a real jam, but it never really occured to him how much of a psychological impact it had on the townsfolk. He merely shrugged his shoulders when he saw a few citizens enter their house and lock their door hurriedly, calling out "Beautiful day indeed..!"

He stood up as the allosaurus continued to run and hopped off the mount, landing in front of the castle. "I'm here on special order of the king! " Joyce said to the guard atop the tower

Sebi was furious and steaming mad when he saw his target get out of sight on the back of some strange scaly beast. Was the Hume aware he was being followed? Sebi decided that he didn't care if the Humes saw him in his true form, he whistled for his demon steed and climbed atop, following after the Hume. Any person in his pathway would be crushed by the mighty steed's great hooves, Sebi could care less about them. Sebi's presence soon became known, the guards climbed atop their steeds and gave chase.

He wouldn't let his target go, even if it killed him. He knew these guards were nothing to him though, his powerful vampiric Magicks could slay them for Sebi was a Toreador and he used Blood Magicks, which Humes were especially weak against.

He heard screaming behind him, figuring it was just the townspeople, but then the guard pointed and Joyce turned his head, watching a demonic force dashing after him. He formed an acid orb in his hand and jumped onto the allosaurus, now charging to the steed. Joyce stood upright on top of the allosaurus as he drew closer with his target.

He was unsure as to why there was such an unprevoked attack on him. As this thought whirled through his head, he began to focus and put his full attention on his mounted opponent.
