I caught a Scorpion!!! I wasn't expecting it either. I was putting flowers all around Maple's house, and I saw a fruit beetle. I caught it. Then I went down Maple's house and I saw the Scorpion there on the opposite side of the tree I passed. My initial reaction was "a bug! *catch*" and it worked. Until I finally caught it did I realize that it was a Scorpion I had caught. = ) Now I hope to get my hands on a Tarantula.

The best way to find one is to change your clock to nighttime (so you don't have to play when you're tired at night) and walk in circles in your town, scaring away or catching all bugs you see.
That way I got 2 scorpions and 3 tarantulas o appear in 2 hours circa.
I caught one of the scorpions and my first tarantula then! n___N
