"What did I see?" He tilts his head towards her. "Where, in the stars? I saw... everything." His eyes become unfocused, a little bit. "I saw everyday life, changing seasons. I saw great wars that raged and destroyed. I saw good and evil alike do great deeds and terrible. I saw definitions of what good and evil were just change..." He shakes his head. "It was hard to just watch. I wanted to see for myself with everything in me. And now I'm here..." He smiles softly at her and reaches for one strand of her hair, stroking it lightly.

"Oh. That sounds... awful... but..." Ghlyssa smiles back nervously, still blushing. "I don't know." She scoots a little closer to him. "I just get so confused..."

"It was... both, I think," Riven says slowly, shifting so that Ghlyssa can snuggle up if she wants to. "But it's also in the past, and I don't have to have that happen ever again... I don't think." Fear flickers through his eyes quickly. "I'm confused too... but if you need to talk to... the Earthkeeper? then yes, go and talk to, uh, her? I think it's something all Fa'e have to go through..."

"It's very confusing, you know," Glee mumbles. "The Earthkeeper is me. And I'm her. Or at least, I'm part of her. And I'm here, but she's still there, and it's strange. But she's still sort of not-me, and I don't know what she's going to say when I choose my Path. I don't really want to go." She snuggles up, resting her head on his shoulder.

Riven puts one arm around her and strokes her hair, gently. "I didn't want to go back to the Spirit Realm either, remember? I was so scared that I wouldn't be able to come back out..." He shakes his head. "You can be scared too... it's okay... but I think everyone has to go."
He hesitates. "Is going to see her something that I can do too? With you?"

"I... I really wish you could come. I could bring you, Riven, but I think I need to do it myself." Ghlyssa cuddles into Riven's arms, sighing happily. This is contentment. This is a good moment. "And if things go wrong... I don't want you to get hurt."

"I don't want you to get hurt either," Riven mumbles, snuggling back and nuzzling her hair. Hey, Mithril said it worked with Cosmos... "Your flowers smell nice."

"I'd noticed," Riven says, and dives on in with both hands. "What is it Rae says? Tickle monster?"
((Only Riven and Glee would be alone in a house on a couch with nobody around for miles and get into a TICKLE FIGHT.))
