This seems like a really interesting idea. I know my avatar has a persona all of her own, but I didn't think there'd really ever be an opportunity to roleplay her...
And I really wanted to give my take on the whole light/dark/neutral thing, too... ^u^;;
Seems to me that all 3 groups, knowing how close Gaia came to destruction, might be afraid for the planet in the future too, and it's how they'd react to these fears that separates them.
The Dark side, to me, would believe that the core of Gaia is made of a massive amount of energy, a kind of untapped potential that could be used to change Gaia for the better. Instead of waiting for Gaia to slowly run down again due to the accumulation of negative energy, they believe that by taking control of the core, they will be able to banish the negative energy forever.
The Light side would be directly in contradiction with the Dark side. They believe that the Dark side is completely wrong, and that although there is power in the core of Gaia, if it were ever to be used it should be as a final resort, the last attempt when everything else has failed.
The Neutral side, however, believe that Gaia knew what she was doing when she gave herself to the core - she was not providing a temporary solution, but a lasting cure. They believe that on no account should anyone disturb the core as the power stored there is regulating Gaia and keeping it in balance, both the positive and the negative.

As others have said, interesting. I've been wanting to play as lil DJ for ever since I consider her as her own little person. I think it'll be amusing to play her, being the little nut I see her as x]

The way the Rp is going so far, it seems strangely similar to the first final fantasy movie, tho it might just be me.
as for my idea, instead of the Core idea, we should make it so that there are invaders of somekind that threaten to invade gaia. These people have destroyed Durem, and now threaten to destroy the entire Gaia continent. They disappeared after destroying the city, but the invaders gave Gaians 1 month to assemble a fighting force before the invaders come back to finish the work they started. Now Gaians All over are united to protect their homeland. Is Gaia going to be nothing but debris and rubble or will it survive, you decide.
That's my take, hope you like.

I absolutely love everyone's idea. I think everyone has given me some very interesting ideas. Invaders would be a very good idea, though I'm not sure who or what would be invading, actually... I think it would be something called "Nothing". (Kind of like Never Ending Story, the Nothing!) It would be something so destructive, but no one can see it.
Also for the Core of Gaia, I was thinking of so many ideas. Energy would be great, but it would be interesting in so many ways. For now, I'll have it be abyone's idea.
I won't make this too cliche, I know how boring that can get, I've been there. I'm almost done brainstorming and putting the pieces together.

well what ever you decide, make sure that the weapons you can use are Gaia Weapons, but you dont have to have them in real-life gaia.
Ex: Sword of Aegis. or Lunar Scythe...

If it wouldn't be too much trouble for you maybe you could just type out everything that you are thinking of right now, just to see where exactly this is going because there have been so many ideas in so many different directions it would be nice to just sumerize everything up and see what's a keeper and what's been tossed.

The process of encoding hearts is incalculable. The inhabitants of my Twilight Town were data created from real hearts. I was convinced that they would think and behave the way I had envisioned - -but I couldn't have been more wrong. A heart is so much more than any system. I saw it when Roxas and Kairi crossed paths. I knew.
Awesome, totaly count me in! PM me when this gets finished up, I would love to be a part of it. My character already has a sort-of neutral look, but he could go either way.But I was too stubborn to accept it. It's always the same. I try to wrap my mind around things my heart already knows, only to fail. While I was trying to bring Sora back, I had so many plans in store. But once Sora was an acting force, they fell apart. All my research amounted to nothing, compared with that one boy's heart.

Hey it's amazing.. I joined this guild in hope of finding exactly what you're working on biggrin
I have some ideas about these sprites... there could be more kinda sprites.. some of them were just simple energy, with inner "thoughts" or motivations, and some like little fairies... If you're thinking of species (you can do many funny things with your avatar's appearance smile ), there should be a special one. Some of the humans, as everyday people call themselfes, should be originated from one kinda fairies, and these varietis of sprites could explain the origin of good and evil side of Gaia. There was the time of Gaia's sacrifice, and then most of the sprites forgot their true purpose and the meaning of their existence. That's how everyda people were born. But there are still some who remember, that once, they had power. Some had power over life, wanted to conquer, to rule, some just defending others or power to save lifes. And there were the ones, like priests, serving Gaia's true will.
Sorry, I made it a bit messy... So if u liked any part use it as you think wink
