He was about to respond some more on their repeated topic, but the female's dart ahead distracted Chakelete's thoughts, and he suddenly felt very playful as well. The rocks were so close to them now, and he decided to run after her, and try jumping on a rock himself!
He moved his body quickly, and tried to pick up his speed. Remaining as focused as he could, he made his way towards a high jump, and as he got closer he realized it was going to be a hard ledge to jump up on. But, giving up wasn't in his vocabulary, so just before reaching the rock, he jumped as high as he could, and after a few scrapes himself, he made his way on the ledge.
"Oh wow.." he then said, while admiring the landscape. "This view is beyond amazing.. we can see everything!" His tail was wagging quickly, and he was overly pleased with his new height! "So where do you live?" he looked to the left and right, and then looked towards where the female was standing. "This place is so big, but its homey in a sense too." And that was probably what made it so likeable for all of the lions.

"I live over there," Noyana said, pointing a claw to the left; parallel to the direction of the rock. "It's a nice den, good and quiet, sometimes, but never too far away from an adventure. The Pridelands are great for that. If you want to go on an adventure alone, then you can certainly do it. But also, if you want to go with a friend, you can find someone quickly." The pride was a perfect fit for her. "Well, I'm sure you'd like to see Pride Rock up closer, right? It's not far from here- I'll race ya!" Noyana said. No doubt he knew where they were going, it was right there, and he'd seen it himself. She lept off the rock, waiting to see if he'd take up her offer.

He watched as she pointed to the specific area that she lived by, but then his attention was shifted by her newest question. A race? Well that sounded like it had potential to be interesting! "I'd be up for a race." With a happy grin, he moved a few steps away from her and stretched his legs out. "I bet you will be fast, especially since you were such a great hunter."
He looked towards her for a cue to go, and nodded his head to show he was ready. It would be interesting to see how fast they each were, and he felt excited to do such a thing.

Noyana smiled big when he took her up. She was always up for a challenge. She crouched down, sticking her tail in the air and dug her claws in. She didn't think of how she would run, it always came naturally. The female made a few little claw marks in the ground under her.
"On your mark, Get set..." She said, with a slight pause. "GO!" And with that, the juvenile took off as fast as her legs would carry her. Her strides covered plenty of ground, but would it be enough to beat the dog?

Chakelete darted after he heard the female's shout, and he was swift in his movements. He was making sure to at least keep up with the female's speed, and so far he was proving himself successful at the challenge.
Noyana was much faster then he imagined, but that didn't bother him. He wasn't really in the race to win, he just wanted to have some fun with the female!
After a few moments, he let the strength of his legs slow down a bit, and gave Noyana a slight advantage of speed. He was pretty much distracted anyways, since the rock was becoming larger and larger as they approached!

Noyana rushed ahead even harder when she noticed the dog slowing down. She had to guarentee a win, being as competitive as she was. She lept onto the closest rock, swiveled immediately and declared, "I win!" with a huge grin.
Soon after, she collapsed, still on the rock, and rolled over onto her back. She looked up to the male, who was no upside-down. Through pants she asked, "What do you think? Pretty cool, huh?"

Lete' was also exhausted, and he let out a slight laugh as the female concluded her victory. "Yes yes, you win! And it was well deserved. You are a fast one, and a good hunter. That in itself is extremely impressive."
Flopping himself on a smaller rock, he looked around with lazy eyes and gleamed at the surrounding. "This place is awesome.. now wonder you love it here so much! I don't think I would leave if I lived here.." With a confident grin, he continued to look around, before bringing his eyes on the quiet sky. "Its so peaceful here.. is it always this nice?" Or had they arrived on a lucky, non-dramatic day?

"Never a peep. There was some drama when our last king died, but that was either right before I was born, or right after; I don't remember anything at all." She said shaking her head. Yes, she had called that rotten golden-coat a royal. She avoided curling her nose in disgust and had avoided to show her obvious dislike of the royals.
"If you ever seek peace and nothing else, the Pridelands is the place. It's safe, the adults freely offer their kills to Pridemembers... Everyone's willing to play. I've never met anyone mean here," she said honestly. "I've been out beyond the borders, but not too far. I don't really know what the world out there is like... Just that it's there. But I'm glad you like it," Noyana said with a smile and a nod.

The Pridelands.. he would have to ponder such an area, since it really WAS nice compared to other places he had been to in the past. "Well, I think you have sold me this place.. and it will be a hard place to forget. If I wasn't a traveler, I might consider trying to stay in this place for awhile.."
Continuing to scope the landscape, he slowly brought his eyes on Noyana, while then giving her a kind head nod. "I really do thank you for showing me such beautiful things, and for also keeping me company for the day. I really don't know what is better.. and if settling down is really in my future." With a light shrug, he flushed a bit and looked away from the female, knowing he was constantly in an internal plight with the idea of staying in one area. "Ah well, if I ever DO end up here, I know who to come to for hunting advice." And with a quick wink, he chuckled at the female happily.

Noyana smiled at the dog's reaction. She understood that some simply needed to be on the move, and that a pridal life wasn't for them. But Noyana never really had "itchy feet" as she liked to call it. "I'll always be open to teach you how to hunt," she said jokingly. She knew that he must be a good hunter; he must provide for himself. So with a smile, she hopped off the rock. "Very nice to have met you, Chakelete. I wish you the best in your wandering," she said before turning to head home.

"It was nice to have met you as well." He quickly added, before watching the bright cub exit from his vicinity. The dog was deep in thought for a moment, but held a smile on his face. That was the first lion he had ever met, and she was quite a nice one! Lete' then rolled himself on his back, and put a paw over his eyes. He decided he would take a nap before leaving the place, and enjoy the rocks just a little bit longer before vanishing himself into the distance..
