Terry said, "Hold on a minute, Zafire, before you go to Alfea, make sure not to spoil what Brandon is trying to do. Brandon wants to propose to Stella and he's kinda nervous about it. So, don't say anything about it, okay?"

Terry stretched out for a few moments and then said, "Well, I am off to bed. Good night, Sky. I hope you can be as brave as Brandon is."

At that, Terry went into his own sleeping quarters and was soon fast asleep.

Sirius warped in Red Fountain with Mizt, silently behind Sky (by coincidence, the ability Sirius has to warp is not as accurate as Emily's or Dee's). Sky would never noticed them if Mizt would not have said "A diamond for Bloom!" Sirius felt left behind again. It just seemed everybody but him was brave enough to propose to a girl.

"You know which ring." sid Mizt "How nice." she was really happy for her friends, and she did not even notice that Sirius was really starting to get nervous. She had always loved him very much, but she never expected him to propose her, and that did not made her sad at all (she's a happy-go-lucky girl).

Kai woke up in Riven's bed sometime later and he rubbed his aching head. "Wha- What happened to me?"

Riven said, "You tried to commit suicide, you ice for brains. What did you think you were, an icicle? Don't you ever scare me like that again, kid, okay?"

Kai said, "Okay. Um... Riven... could you tell me what your family was like?"

Riven was surprised by such a question, but said, "My family was too dark for you to hear. Let's just leave it at that. I became a hero so that I wouldn't follow into the same dreaded pathline as they did. However, I am great at what I do."

Kai said, "You must be. My family is cursed. I ranaway from home, to be completely honest. The day of the rose... this day... it only brings me sadness. This year, which is my first year here, was my worst. I thought that the day of the rose would go okay because well, I chose to be away from home and besides, I thought that by training here, I could forget all about my family."

Riven said, "But then, why did you try to end your own life? That isn't the hero's path, you know."

Kai replied, "I know. I just get so... well, cold hearted that sometimes I lose sight of what I really want to do. I guess I was just too lonely being here by myself."

Riven then pulled something out of his pocket. He gave it to Kai. He said, "This gift is a communicator. You can thank Timmy later. He made it. Anyway, if you are ever lonely, use it and I will be there right by your side. You might not have a bio family anymore, but you have us... the Red Fountain family. And with us as a family, kid, you will never be alone again."

Kai said, "Thanks, Riven. By the way, my name is Kai."

Riven smirked his famous Riven style smile and said, "Pleasure. Now, I want you and I to head over to Alfea. I want you to meet my sweetheart. Her name is Musa. And who knows, maybe there's an Alfea girl who would just be dying to meet you?"

Jumping onto his hoverbike, Riven asked, "Have you ever ridden one of these before?"

Kai shook his head, but then created a snow board out of his own power. He said, "I might not have ridden one of them, but, i do have my own form of transportation. It comes naturally to me since my body is made of ice. I can form these snowboards whenever and ride on my own magical snow."

Getting an intriguing idea, he asked, "Hey Riven, isn't the day of the rose, sort of like a racing thing for the guys?"

Riven nodded and said, "Yeah, so what of it?"

Kai said, "For fun... let's race to Alfea. I bet you my snowboard is faster than your hoverbike. First one there gets a kiss from Musa. Deal?"

Riven said, "How about this, if I win, I get to kiss Musa, but, if you win... I have to find you a suitable girlfriend just for you?"

Kai smiled and said, "Oh you're on! And... go!"

Speeding off Kai sets off for Alfea and seemingly way ahead of Riven.

Professor Saladin walked down the halls of red fountain realizing that his main boys were not indoors. He was thinking of giving them extra work, but then, remembering the holiday, he decided to forget it. He then heard some of the men whispering like gossipping fairies in the hallways. He walked up to them and asked, "What seems to be all the fuss boys?"

Mizt's heart froze when she heard professor Saladin. She knew she was not supposed to be there without permission. Sirius kept his cool.
"Professor Saladin...nice to meet you." she said, as if the professor was a friend of hers.
