She burst out laughing at his comment. "No, no.." She shook her head, her muzzle wide with laughter. "No, she was a bird." She said as she lost her composure, and lie on the ground, trying to calm down.
When she finally did, she slowly stood back up and whipped her eyes with her paw. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to laugh." She said with a smile on her face.
"But, I have met a god before." Her smile faded, and she looked thoughtful. "I can't remember what he said his name was, but he was very large, with big white wings. He had a cover over his eyes, but said that he could see everything. I think he said he was the god of loneliness or something."

Feo's face flushed when the lioness laughed at him. He didn't expect that, but what else what as supposed to say? He had only heard of gods in stories, so he never really knew if they existed or not. If Jina had seen one, though, then they must exist, right?
He shook off her laughter after a moment, though, and turned his attention back to the details that she offered him. "Wow, loneliness? That seems like such a terrible thing though....was he at least nice to you?" It did make him a bit nervous, but she was alive in front of him, and seemed for the most part happy....

Jina's smile fell when she thought back on the event. "It was such a serious meeting." She recalled. "He never smiled, and was looking over many cubs. It was strange..." she said as she looked onto the horizon, "he told me that even though he had the blindfold on, he could see every one of them." She said as she looked back over to Feo.

Feo's ears flicked forward when Jina's smile fell, and she almost seemed a little detached. He wondered just what went on, but she seemed to carry herself high enough that perhaps it was just their conversation that was a bit uncomfortable.
"That's....strange," he mentioned lightly, hoping that he wasn't stepping on anything dangerous. He didn't know what else to say, but he knew that if he was in that position, he certainly wouldn't want to stick around. "Well, I guess if it was so serious, he was just a serious god, then? Haha, I dunno..."

Her smile returned, "Yeah, a little too serious for my taste." She said giving out a small chuckle. "The meeting ended soon, and I'm glad it did." She said as her tail flicked in the grass slowly. "It was..cold when I was near him." Her ears fell back. "He showed no emotion. It was really strange..."

Feo's right ear flicked, his red eyes glancing at Jina's face. "Well," he started, wondering just what to say. Such indecisiveness was a common occurence for him. "I guess if he was Loneliness, then perhaps he was cold to keep others away, then?" His tail flicked behind him before it curled up to rest against his side, his front-matching toes flexing a bit as his mind switched gears again. "But hey, you can always say that you've met a god and survived, right?" His tone was one of light teasing, but still a bit of awe.

With this, her ears rose and a smile was back on her face. "Yeah, you can say that again." She laughed, an her tail swayed from side to side.
It just hit her how much Feo had tried to cheer her up during the conversation. "Thanks Feo." She smiled brightly. It worked.

"Huh?" Feo wasn't sure what he did, but he figured that he must of done something right. He swallowed suddenly, and offered her a little nod with his head. "Oh, uh. Sure, anytime." If he could of, he would of been rubbing the back of his head, a bit embarassed. But instead, he was just looking a little flustered.
"Well, anyway, you sure got some neat stories. Hopefully I'll go outside for myself and do something cool, too." He puffed his chest up, obviously proving that he was brave, but just as well proving that he still had bits of cubness in him, as well.

Jina nodded. "Something to tell my cubs." She said as she thought about all the great times she had while she was looking for her mother. Now if she could only find her.
"You should get out. It's fun meeting new people, and seeing all the different sights." Her ear flicked lightly. "Your paws start to hurt after a while, but you get used to it." She stood up, and stretched, pulling her front paws far in front of her.

Ohwow. Ummm. He wouldn't comment on that. He cleared his throat before continuing, the bits of developing mane that cascaded down his neck rustling a bit as he bobbed his head again.
"Do you have any sort of direction as to where I should go?" He had no idea what was where outside of the lands, since he never really grew a huge interest in it until Jina mentioned things he had no idea about. Now he wanted to go see, just to see. He'd never leave his home, especially with some crazy new sibilings.

Yeah right. Like she had any time for cubs. She was on a journey, something like that would only hinder her progress.
She shrugged when he posed the question. "Where you start is up to you." She looked at the lands around them. "I closed my eyes, and let the wind carry me." She smiled over to him, "If you'd like, your welcome to join me." She had been on her own for a while, and wouldn't mind his company.

"Oh! Oh...um..." he paused for a moment, the idea of really leaving his home, even if only for a while, seemed kind of daunting. But it would be really good for him to learn more about everything, things that maybe even his mother didn't know about.
"Alright, I'd be glad to go with you, Jina." He bobbed his head a bit shyly, hoping that he didn't sound stupid when he agreed. He wanted to sound sort of...cool. He should of asked some of the other guys around how to talk to girls.

Jina's smile widened, he said yes! She couldn't believe it. They had just met and it was like they had known each other for years. "Great." She said as her tail swayed happily behind her.
She stood and walked closer to him, her tail still swaying. "You...You want to tell your pride?" She asked, a little hesitant about his response.

"Ummm..." he started slowly, unease filling inside of him again. He really should, just so that they wouldn't worry about him. "I want to go let my mother know, just so she doesn't worry about me. I know where she is, so I'll return in just a moment?"
He hoped that he didn't seem very foolish about it, but he really didn't want his mother to worry, especially with the new sibilings around. His red eyes glanced into hers, just for a moment, before they adverted away. Oops, eye contact could get kind of....well, it could flip his stomache, simply put, with Jina.

She nodded, "That's alright, I wouldn't want her to worry either." she said. She knew what it was like to not have a mother know where her child was. The idea of a mother worrying over you hurt also.
"I'll just be over here." She said as she motioned over to a nearby tree. The summer sun beat down on her coat and she needed the cool shade to calm down.
