I agree that A Walk to Remember was pretty touching.

Titanic. heart Even though I've watched it like 3 times, it still makes me want to cry. Me and my sister will sometimes say "Come on people, hurry up and get out of the ship!" I think once I did start crying.

I have a bunch of favorite tearjerkers. It's been fun reading so far, cause I haven't heard of some of the films mentioned... I'm making a list to look them up.
My list:
The Night of the Hunter Grapes of Wrath Mildred Pierce (the one with Barbara Stanwyck) The Green Mile The Shawshank Redemption Delores Claiborne Legands of the Fall Life is Beautiful Schindler's List Shoa (an hours long Holocaust documentary) Terms of Endearment Titanic John Q
It's hard for me to pick a favorite, but The Night of the Hunter is a true classic, will always be so. It was made in in black and white, and the lighting effects are magnificent. The stars are superb, Shelley Winters in one of her best roles and Robert Mitchem in probably his most memorable role as the evil preacher. The two little children do a wonderful job, and the pathos holds throughout the movie. Lillian Gish is perfection as the old lady who rescues the children.

Oh god!! Hands down, the movie that will make you boo-hoo out loud is "Old Yeller", the 1957 Disney movie.
This one is such a shameless tear-jerker that it's really not even fair!!
And from Walt Disney, no less!!
