Keme almost asked 'Wait...for what?' but he probably figured getting a few kisses in, especially since they got so rudely interrupted the other day when she told him about getting the tickets for the show. He smiled serenely and leaned down, pressing his lips to hers, figuring Morgy could handle pulling the carriage to the city.

That's exactly what Relm did intend, though in part she was alluding to how she did not want to wait much longer for something else... but that could most certainly wait until much later tonight. She had no intention of ruining this evening. Relm slipped her other hand where it rested on his up his arm to curl lightly upon his shoulder and slowly deepened the kiss. Relm did not move much on the seat, twisting to press her torso a bit more against his.
This had to be a perfect evening. The little femme sighed happily into the kiss. If she had been subjected to waiting until after the show for her first kiss of the evening Relm was not sure she would have been able to handle it. her thumb lightly stroked his cheek. Espers... how much she loved him! And loved kissing him too.

He gripped the reins in one hand as the other reached up to caress her cheek gently, purring into the kiss. His tail wagged happily behind, causing the coat tails to swish about.

Very tenderly Relm broke off the kiss & leaned her cheek happily into the feel of Keme's hand. Slowly her eyes fluttered open and Relm smiled at him dreamily. "You're so absolutely wonderful, Hummer. I don't know how I ever deserved you, if I do at all, but I don't know what I'd do without you. I love you so."

Keme blushed when she said that and he leaned his forehead on hers gently, smiling lovingly down at her, "I think you have it wrong. I don't deserve you, but I'll spend forever doing everything I can to keep proving how much I love you..." he whispered softly.

Her heart thudded pleasurably beneath her tight dress at Keme's words and the look in his eyes. That was the right thing to say. Her eyes flashed with immeasurable love and devotion then were laced with a slightly playful smile. "Are you saying I'm wrong, Hummer?" The artist murmured tenderly, thumb moving to brush the corner of his lips. As many times before the nickname held the tone of a term of endearment. "You know I don't like to be wrong..."
Relm's lips parted gently, hopeful & expecting. They had all night to talk. As soon as they reached the city, the most Relm would permit herself would be to chastely kiss his cheeks. This was not a casual event. She knew how to behave.

Keme wisely didn't say anything and instead, gave her a passionate kiss, which he ended so he could turn and keep his eyes on the road again, a blush still on his face.

She had hoped for a kiss, even let herself expect said kiss... but Relm had not anticipated the passion of it. A split second of pleasant surprise and she let her own passion surface within the kiss to share with Keme. As much as she dared.
When it was ended Relm did not mind having to think to breathe, lightly touching Keme's blushing cheek before letting her hands lightly fall to his knee & leaning her head on his shoulder. Her eyes too turned to watch the road, opening and closing slowly as she savored the memory of the kiss while enjoying the simple strength of Keme beside her. Something perfectly wonderful to hold onto through the course of the evening that was just theirs & that might hold promises for later. Relm smiled.

Keme kept his hands on the reins as they were pulled along, the forest becoming more sparse and the lights of the city starting to appear. He smiled when Morgy slowed down and looked over her shoulder at Relm, her red eyes throwing her a questioning look.

Relm blinked only a moment before smiling and speaking in a clear voice the directions to where they were going. Her smile became wider, realizing how appropriate it was that they go to this particular operetta with Morgy as their equine escort. She did hope the other patrons would not react in ways that offended the beautiful & sweet mare.

He smiled when Relm gave the directions and Morgy nodded her head in understanding. The carriage sped up a bit as they went along and Keme looked about as they pulled into the city itself. He gulped, feeling a bit nervous, never having gone to anything like a show before.

Catching the sound of Keme's nervous gulp she looked from the road to give him a reassuring smile & just as reassuring patted his knee. "Exciting, isn't it? I've never been to an opera or even a show for that matter. Trel goes with her mother though and always has good things to say about it."

Keme smiled back, nodding, "Moochi has been to a show like this before, she went with her grandmother. She loved it and hopes to go again." he said as Morgy trotted down the street.

A slight flush darkened Relm's cheeks. She had been so shocked at being offered the tickets that she had not thought beyond them to others. "Maybe... maybe we can surprise her with tickets sometime." Her smile was soft, almost shy in its hesitancy.

"Yea, she would really like that!" he said as Morgy turned a corner. He looked back to the road, a few people on the sidewalks having stopped to view the horse drawn carriage.
