Elrond Peredhel Pheonyx Fire Mizz Faith Akherontis Well I am nineteen (which is apparently quite old when I look at everyone else here razz ), male, I live in New Zealand, and my name is Shannon (but I am STILL male). I have been interested in Mythology from a very young age, when I got a book on Greek Mythology. Since then, I have always been fascinated by the subject. 3nodding 
Imagine how I feel, being a mom xD And thats a cool name; thats my sister's name biggrin (But I know guys named that too).
Hush Zypher xd I'm 18 and I live in the Southeast United States. Most people online and off ,with the exception of Akherontis and Phoenyx Fire, know me as Gussu. I've always had a bit of interest in Greek Mythology, but like Phoenyx after recently meeting Akherontis I've become a lot more interested. So I'm here to learn more I suppose.

HELLO TO ALL!
My name is Ryn! You can call me that or Louis or FAL, I don't really care!
Anyway, on with the introduction....I have just always loved Greek mythology. I haven't had much of a chance to really syudy it deeply...unfortunately. Everytime we talked about it in school it was just the same information all over again.
Also, I'm obsessed with the gods Eros and Hermes. I've read the myth Cupid and Psyche probably no less than 60 times. I also love certain aspests of Greco-Roman history. Unfortunately it's the kind of stuff we don't talk about at school!
Well, since I gotta go, I guess that's it for my intro!

I'm almost 20! xd and live in the Pacific Northwest(USA)
I've been studying mythology in general since elementary
school via a friend.
I probably have more books on ancient egypt right now, but I'm
looking to fix that soon. So I apologize if I mix up people in whom
did what, etc...
I've also drawn a few of the gods as I see them, such as Hermes, Hera and Aphrodite.
Tidbits:
1. I really dislike it when people refer to Hades as a place. scream
2. I prefer the name Herakles to Hercules
3. Disney's Hercules made me cringe. xp

Hello!
My name is Ann, but outside this guild I'm WindDancingDragon. I'm 13 and in 8th grade, so I've bot a major attitude problem.
I've loved mythology since I was really little, mainly because I love fantasy more than real life. I'm not an expert, but I know enough to drive my friends crazy and start talking about Artemis and Herakles.
My favorite gods are Hades and Posieden. My favorite goddesses are Artemis and Selene. In fact, I love Artemis so much, I named my dwarf hamster after her. blaugh

I'm Jace, 18 ish, from NC, USA. I've been into Greek Mythology since forever. I think it might have started with a bookfair in third grade. It seems I am tragically uninformed compared to the rest of you. My username is from Greek history, though. So I'm proud of that.

Geez, I'm not the oldest one here, am I? rolleyes *gonna be 21 this easter*
I've been interested in both mythology and the ancient world for as long as I can remember. i am currently taking Humanities 131 (Mythology) at my community college as well as Latin 101. I took 3 years of Latin in high school, but that was high school. I've already taken Art 130+131 (art history), Art 105 (understanding art), art 106 (history of painting techniques), and your good ol' History 101 (introduction to western history).
I'm hoping to get a Major in Classical studies and a minor in Art history, or a major in classical studies (roman) and a minor in classical studies (greek). hmm. not sure exactly what yet. point is, i'm on my way to a career doing what I love - rambling about the ancient world and its culture. ^_^
oh, and if you thought that Disney's Hercules was bad, have you ever seen 'Hercules in New York'? Its a 1970 movie and was Arnold Schwarzenegger's first movie role. His accent was so bad that he got dubbed over, but you can listen to the original audio on the dvd.

My name is Lauren, and Ive been a Greek/Roman mythology fan since I was little. Of course back then my favorite Goddess was Athena and now its Aphrodite. Thats proof enough of how much I changed. Im a writer and im currently working on a novel. I live in California, fairly close to Getty Villa and I wish i could live there. I go there at least once a month i feel at home in that villa recreation with all those statues. As for my orgins im part English, French, Irish, Scotish, Spanish, German, Equadorian, and Italian. (WOOO HOO Maybe im part Roman.) But yeah im alot of stuff. smile
