I still don't know If every thing's alright with my character. And, just so you know, There is actually two boys on this, and one of those is me. So, I guess that's just a BIT odd for a romance (because Fruit's basket was a romance, wasn't it?) to have one gender outnumbering the other by THAT much. But I haven't read that many romances, barring this and Scott Pilgrim, so who knows? It certainly isn't me who decides these things. And THAT'S my Twelve pence. And let me know when it starts.

Perhaps I could do a bit more... Yes, I was rushed at the time, so I'll take another crack at it. Don't expect much, I might not be able to think much up, what with me attempting to put together several stories at once. But heck, here goes RPGs. Or nothing, similar enough really.
*Edited* Oh, and I did actually finish redoing mine. It's on the same lines, but better. And please note them name change from Dirk to Ein. Thanks!

(Eh I'll start, why not?)
The school bell at Lady Rose's Academy for Girl's rang and hundreds of girl poured out of classrooms, talking and laughing. Everyone was excited about going home for the weekend and one girl in particular was bouncing through the halls, rushing to get to her locker. "Excuse me, thank! Yes, blondie coming your way, move it please!" Tora Sohma plowed through the large crowd, her lone, blonde piggytails bouncing on her shoulders in the process. She was easily identifiable by her light hair and her unusual perkiness.

"Oh yes Have good weekend!" Tokaru called behind her as she waved to her friends from school and started down the path towards the Sohma Esate. Tokaru was always bubblier when the weekend came around, even if it did mean she wasn't going to spend time with her friends. She made it through the bustle of the talking crowds and those rushing down more crowded paths to home or in the arms of their awaiting parent, wondering how their day had gone. She couldn't help but smile even more for her friends as they headed home. Arisa told her that her and her family were going to the new aquarium. It sounded like so much fun and then Tomiko and her family were going to a festival. Tokaru herself had never been to either, besides the new year's festival held by the sohmas, but they both sounded wonderful from the way they had described them.
She was passing the park when she stopped to see someone rocking back and forth slowly on the swings. She smiled and rushed over to the empty one beside her brother.
"How was school today?" Taiyo asked cooly, he was always gentle and reserved around his little sister, instead of the harsh attitude in which he treated most others. He reached over and tousled his sister's hair playfully.
Tokaru beamed at him and wriggled her way out from under Taiyo's hand as she twisted in the swing. "Oh it was wonderful! Coach says once I reach High School level I should join track. She thinks that I would be great at it. Oh yeah, and my teacher loved my art project. Then we did this new thing in math with fractions, I didn't get it at first but Tomiko explained it to me. I'm so jealous, Tomiko always understands math so easily. I wish I were as smart as her." She finished with a happy, dreamy sigh.
"Well it sounds like you had a good day then, and don't worry. Math is just something you have to practice at, before you understand it." Taiyo said smoothly.
Tokaru nodded her head vigoriously, "Yes, And I'll try my very best to do well in my studies." She paused for a moment and carried on. "But you know what? I can't wait for monday Tomiko is going to a festival and Arisa is going to the aquarium. They said they'd tell me all about it when we came back to school. Doesn't that sound like so much fun?" She squealed.
"Yes it's sounds like fun. Maybe if father isn't too busy he'll take you there." He knew this wasn't likely. Their mother always made sure there were plenty of things to distract him from his kids. That and neither of them liked the idea of the two in giant co-ed crowds. But he knew this would not detour Tokaru dreaming of a wonderful time.
"I could always see if mommy wanted to go." Tokaru said pleasantly.
Taiyo's eyes narrowed and felt a slight twinge of pain in his chest. It might have been him being protective but he did not like the idea of Tokaru being alone with their mother. She had hurt her too many times, and Taiyo couldn't see how Tokaru was always so forgiving of her. All the times he's come home to find his sister unconscious, bleeding, or in pain. She was just a little kid, and no matter how much Tokaru forgave her, he would never truly trust her. "Maybe, father will let me take you instead. I think mother's busy this weekend." He said directing all his anger to his clenched fist that wound tightly around the metal chains of the swing.
Tokaru's face lit up even brighter than what it was before, "Oh would you really do that?! It would be so much fun. What type of fish do you think they have their. Arisa said they have sharks, i'm sort of scared about that part but wouldn't it be cool to see a real live shark, and dolphins to. Do you think they'll have them? Oh and dancing! Tomiko says there's always dancing!"
"Yes, well we'll see how the weekend pans out then." Taiyo said thoughtfully and listened as his sister told about the rest of her day.

There was a heavy sigh as Yuzuyu Katakura slung the black Adidas messenger bag over her shoulder. "Double shift..." she muttered under her breath. Yes, today was in fact the day. When she would work from four o'clock until eleven for closing. This left no time for her to visit the tent before going to work and she had so much homework! It'll have to be done during her breaks and when there aren't customers. Fat chance. It was the day of the new promotional event where they added Frozen Yogurt to their café menu. The place would be packed! As she strode down the hall exchanging Goodbyes with her friends she brushed her fingers through her long hazel hair to get rid of the knots. 'Get a hold of yourself Yuzu!' she told herself as she slapped herself. "I'll just have to do it on my way to school or before class!" she didn't realize she had said this out loud.
"Do what?" a blonde girl asked as she held open the door for her. "Off to work already? I got the evening shift," Emiko said as her friend exited the school building.
"It's nothing, and I have a double shift today, remember Emi?" she spoke as she held the door open for another girl coming out. Right after that was another, and another, and another... This always happened to her; hold the door for someone and people keep coming out. "I'll be fine, you go ahead. I'll see you later at the café," she smiled still holding the door open.
"What are we going to do with you?" the blond rolled her eyes. "I'm making Don Buri for dinner I'll pack you some!" waving Emiko jogged off.

Hiro placed walked thru the door and then turned sharply standing next to Yuzuyu. "Ms. Katakura" You really should let a male student hold the door open its only right." He winked at her and reached out grabbing the door just above her head. He heard some girls whisper softly and look at him blushing. "Ladies..." He purred softly as the group walked out. He smiled down at Yuzuyu, as another loud squeal could be heard as they ran away. "Go home."
