All throughout her sad tale, Zuri listened carefully, and kept his attention on her. He had no idea that all this had happened; it had been so long. His eyes twitched slightly when she spoke of Ezeoha, although he hadn't even noticed himself.
When she had finished, he didn't want to ask right out about how long it had been since she had last seen the two, so he paused while choosing his words, and then, "Has your son, Nunda, made... made any progress in finding a cure?"

Chinara shook her head. "I don't know. He's been gone for 2 weeks now..." A few seconds of silence passed between them, before she looked at the plains of the Pridelands. "Maybe I'm just dying of a broken heart... Maybe it's best this way.."
The lioness rested her head on her paws, feeling more depressed than glad to see her oldest friend. Although, she wondered where he had gone, what he had seen. "Where... where did you go, Zuri? Why did you leave?"
