Yua nodded a bit towards the older lion, watching his antics for a moment, before becoming fidget-y. Something in general felt so out of place for him. He didn't exactly like being somewhere where anybody he had known in the past could have popped outta nowhere and scared the living crap out of him.
Because the old acquaintances probably knew the best ways to go about doing that.
"Ah. Perhaps you will. You will tell her 'hello' for me when you do, yes?" he inquired, pondering how that old girl was doing since he'd last seen her. However, the mention of age seemed to get a bit of a face from the younger lion, whom really wasn't fond of the idea of already being all grown up with a pile of kids coming to his name.
Oh god. Please let it just be one or two... he mentally sobbed, being rather against having too many children to his name.
Especially daughters. Never daughters. He'd cry inside if that happened (Oh the irony).
"Mm. Time does seem to catch up with us. No matter how fast we move, time's always slightly faster."

"I certainly will," he replied, bobbing his head to express his agreeance. There was nothing better than passing on words to old friends, even if they might not see one another again. He had been there, and wished that his own old hellos had been passed on. Whether they ever were or not, he couldn't say, but he always believed that they were. It was best to believe in...well, the best in everyone.
"Aaah, yes, time does catch up with us too quickly," he said noticing the sun in the sky for the first time in a long time. "I'm afraid that duty calls for me. I pray that I see you again, I truely do, and send you the best wishes to your mate, as well." He grinned, a tad jealous, but hey, he was a male with no family. His tail twitched behind him, eyes expectantly watching Yua as he hoped the younger male would wish the same, to cross paths again. It would give the old lion one more thing to look forward to in his old days.

Yua turned his head up towards the sun as well as the elder lion did so as well, his eyes sort of hinting at a thought of 'oh crap, can't have Tui wondering what I'm up to' sort of a look, before he turned his head back to his company, sympathetic to the 'duty' that the other had to get back to.
"Of course, of course. There's no reason to give all your time to me when there are so many others who would desire to have it as well." He bid, rising up to his paws and bowing his head slightly to Tawa'di. "It would be my pleasure for us to cross paths again. Perhaps someday I'll bring my children here to bid you conversation as well." he offerred, thinking it would be a pleasant thing to look forward too.
Yua knew he himself would have enjoyed such a thing.
Duty had a way of ending the nicest of conversations so much earlier than they should have had to go, but it took a certain priority to other various things. "Well, we best both be on our ways before we sit down to start another good conversation, hmm?" Yua chuckled a bit following the statement, before adding "So I guess I best bid you a farewell and be going back to my Tui." he stated, frowning a bit at having to leave, but leaving it at that before turning to head back off to find his forementioned mate.
He couldn't be leaving her alone for too long.

Tawa'di nodded, agreeing with him. "Yes, I'll be certain to seek you out again." He didn't know when that would be, but he certainly would like that.
He let his old paws slowly began to carry him back into his homeland. He had to return and check on Adi'sa, the closest thing that he had to a son. He would admit to anyone that asked that he considered the quiet male lika a son, and perhaps it was jsut because he had found him nearly starved on the border lines.
Buuuut that was for other times, for now he'd concentrate on getting home. That was the most important thing. Though he had spent many times out on his own, now that he didn't always have to, he didn't always want to.
