I have every season of Buffy and Angel blaugh . I can watch the show whenever i want. twisted Don't they show Buffy on fx in the morning though?

crying Not anymore!! They replaced it with Malcolm in the Middle. They now show one every week on Saturday way early in the morning which is like when I sleep in.

The last couple of episodes were downers especially with Fred gone and Illyria. Ha Illyria, reminds me of Twelfth Night.
Why did the last seasons of both Angel and Buffy do worse than the others?

You mean in terms of viewers or what?
I think the writing went downhill for Buffy.
Also, because I don't like the way Spike was developed as a character and I hate Spike/Buffy, I kind of want to blame it all on him. But that's not totally fair.
And for Angel ... S5 was kind of weird. They switched up the format from heavily arc-driven to more episodic, changed location and lightened the colour palette. And they lost Cordy. I mean, that was enough for me to stop watching. neutral

I didn't like the last season of Buffy because of all the potentials. That bored the crap out of me. Plus the image of Xander getting his eye pushed into his skull will scare me forever.
Then again, the idea of the three geeks becoming the evil villains for Buffy in season six wasn't the great either. I guess you can't really top Glory and Buffy dying.
It was worse in Angel when Fred died. I mean it sucks when you kill of Cordy but then Fred too? Talk about adding salt to the wound.

There is this annoying girl(Moderator I think) in a Buffy guild that loves the three. Her being crazy about them pisses me off. Ya, you can't top Buffy dying. Another great scene is when Buffy had to stab Angel with a sword and send him to a hell realm for eternity right after he gets his soul back. Perfect, just perfect. Although, you have to admit the last few episodes in season 6 were GREAT too. In Angel, it sucked that they slowly start killing Cordy off in season 4.

I maintain that "Becoming (Part I)" and "Becoming (Part II)" constitute the best season finale of any show I've ever watched. I don't know if that's all nostalgia or what, but come on. Like, I recognise what they did to the characters (except Cordy) as valid. I recognise it as valid, but that doesn't mean I like it. It makes sense for example that Connor would become a psychopath after all the crap that was piled on him -- but I didn't want him to become a psychopath, so I didn't approve of the writers piling the crap on in the first place. And what they did with Cordelia just sucked. Technically, we didn't even really have Cordy for S4, because pretty much everything after she came back was Jasmine controlling her. That was not a cool way to send a character off.
