I was blessed with anglo hair. It is pretty thick, but it generally stays nice and neat during the day if I need it to.

Mine's thick, wavy/curlyish, but not too bad. :3

FINALLY! One of you admits it instead of saying you have it just as hard, if not worse as we females do, because you can't control body parts, and you have to shave your faces.

BOOHOO! crying

That, and we can pee out a campfire easier.

Oh, and we can figure out maps too... because men are really good at seeing one inch, and imagining it to be several miles long.

(wonder's if that was too sublte to be a vulgar joke)

Says the lady who has a tenticle way up her avatars bum. <.<

Divash I'm sorry you had to go through that... Next time that happens though, DONT TIP! Sorry, I'm cheap, I dont like to reawrd people or places that arent able to follow direction, or give me good service that I'm happy with..

Im not too pleased with many guy's haircuts either.. Or some of the haircuts I've had.. I find that barbers tend to like to make guys heads look rather phallic. Not everyone can pull off a short short haircut..

But I would say its not that safe to play with dyes and coloring.. It can really damage your hair. <.<

Just saying.. With that aspect of it all, be careful!

If you lived near me, I could recommend an excellent stylist, named Christina.. Granted her style isn't very likeable (shes a punk/goth thing, fat, loaded with personality, a sweet sweet person.. LOTS OF TATTOOS!!! Some that can be found inappropiate.. Especially the one that says slut in another language..), but she is able to follow direction, or even recommend other hairstyles that would be better for you. She has never done anything other than exeptional work on me, my mom, or my sisters, he haircuts last a while, and she even gives you recommendations on taking care of your hair and stuff and how to maintain it (which isn't really a guy problem, unless they have long hair, which i dont.).. If something isn't healthy for your hair she wont do it..

I'm fairly non-judgemental about the people who take care of my hair. I don't really care what their personal style is like, as long as they let me keep my personal style. Fortunately I've got a wonderful woman at Supercuts who takes excellent care of me in terms of cut, and my RLSO is very, very hand with Herbal Essences hair color. For straightening, I'll keep going to Andre if I can afford him. He's expensive, but he's the best in town according to multiple sources, and he's gay so I'm really not concerned about him seeing my hair or touching my head. And of course, every other year or so I get to see my grandfather, who's great at coming up with new styles for me. He's a very good hairdresser, and I wish I lived nearer to him. I'll be sad when his arthritis won't let him "cut my head" anymore. But he's a lot like Andre -- the best at what he does, and he takes real joy in making people look and feel beautiful.

xd Now I'm debating if I should get a haircut or not. Mine is getting too long, but there's nobody I know of that gives decent ones here.

Really. I know hair dressing is hard, and some stylists don't get paid near what they should, but how do these people make it out of school? All they do is what they think looks good, and it ends up making you mad. One time I got passed around the salon like six times because they couldn't find the girl who was supposed to do my hair. I got 3 scalp massages though! *Thumbs up*

I'm getting my hair trimmed tomorrow. I can't stand it anymore.

The reason I've been happy with Supercuts for the past... I don't want to admit how long, but since junior high... is because they do EXACTLY what you say. "Take off exactly half an inch from the bottom. Don't touch the layers; I'm trying to let it grow out. Give it a gradual slope so that the back is about an inch longer than the front. Undercut so that it'll curl under." They'll do it. Of course, if you say "I don't really care, just have fun and do what you think would look good," they'll feel free to go bananas, but they won't do it unless you give carte blanche permission.

Ugh. I either need a haircut, or a good ceramic flat iron. I can't stand the way my hair naturally looks. It gets incredibly frizzy when it's humid, which is all the time where I live. I can get it pretty sleek with a flat iron and the right conditioner, though.

I feel ya on the humidity! The least bit of wetness or moisture and my hair flips out. It is so annoying when I've worked awhile to get it to lay flat. It's why I want to grow it out, so I can just put it up. My current fix for bed head or just plan laziness is a dread cap...
