"Oooh. Pretty! No I don't think I'd like to pick anything. It might be nice to stay here forever, but Henna would miss me"
He followed the dryad under the archway. Inside was much as the dryad had described. The last light was finally fading away in the sky but there seemed to be a glow emanating from the various crystals which made it possible to see.
It was eerily silent and beautiful. Nirok tried to think of something to say but couldn't. So he settled for gaping with his mouth slightly open. The dim light reflected off Peri's shiny purple hair making him appear to glow as much as the crystals.

Peri smiled happily, content to stand and look at the pretty crystals as they glowed in the half light, only Jareth or people he sent here could pick the stones.. they were very pretty though, but he had already resolved he was going to be careful not to get stuck here forever. He looked around him, the large gold and silver trees glittered in the moonlight, and he couldnt help but giggle, there was somthing so magical about this place, he had always liked it. "Do you want to stay here for a while, Nirok..?" he asked, "Or do you want to carry on, its not really much farther to the goblin city now, I think Eidolon will have opened a way that means we dont have to pass the bog.. its too smelly.. it makes me want to run through it.. but you have to be so careful not to touch any of it or you'll smell icky forever.." He wouldnt want that.. "We wont have to worry about being attacked going into the city either, its wonderfullly friendly now! Especially as today I've got a goblin with me!" he beamed at his friend.

"Not really"
He looked around again
"It's very beautiful but I think if I stay too long I'll be too tempted to pick something. I can always come back some day."
In fact the temptation was creeping up on him even now.
"I'd forgotten about the goblin city. I haven't ever been there. I'm afraid goblins aren't generally the brightest bunch. But they are friendly once they've got the idea that you're not an enemy. I wonder what a whole city of Goblins would be like. I can't imagine they'd make very good builders."
As they made their way out of the garden he gave one last look back. How many other magical places like this lurked around the labyrinth. Well he would have plenty of time to explore them. Perhaps with Peri perhaps with other friends. The thought made him grin once more.

"okay then! Periwinkle stated, "I guess we should carry on before your goblin fingers trick you into doing somthing you dont really want to do!" he stretched slightly, and turned towards the exit to the grove, giving Nirok a pat on the shoulder as he stepped out into the twisting pathway again. There was lotsof off turns, and he went the wrong way a couple of times as there were so many different ways you could go. "Dont forget.. look out for the little fairy's.." he said quietly.. "They'll give you quite a bite if they latch onto you.." He nodded again.

Nirok watched the walls carefully. There was evidence of fairies everywhere. The dust they left gave the walls a sparkly iridescent look. They were tiny little creatures, very pretty. But as Peri had noted they did have a nasty bite. He dodged round a group that were fluttering about a patch of flowers. It was hard to imagine that they could do any harm but he knew better. He blew a raspberry at them when he was at a safe distance.
"whoo it's twisty here. How do you remember where you're going?"
