The waves crashed and Chayton snuggled under the umbrella. The sounds of the waves was so calming. It was so... soothing... Just enough to let Xaria and Chayton fall asleep long enough for the beach to clear.
The sun was setting by the time Xaria woke up. Chayton's movement woke her up. He was squirming in the sand. He didn't like the feel of the sand. It was mooshy, reminded him of his mother. He sat still untill the tide came in. It came in suddenly fast.
The water crashed over his feet, and he began to cry. Xaria sat upright and stood up slowly, ignoring the 'rushing' tide. She picked him up. The water swelled where Chayton was previously sitting, and a little spout suddenly. Foam arose is a up and out formation. The water was all over the place, Xaria panicked, and the more she panicked and backed away, the closer the tide came in.
One huge wave came overhead and parted and crashed to the left and right of Xaria and Chayton. A tiny wave like scarf was holding a quiet little girl. A bottle with a note inside was inside her little scarf. The child stared. Horrified, Xaria stared back.
"Please tell me you're not for me..." The baby blinked and the bottle dropped... Xaria took the note out and read it slowly. She fought the tears as she reread the note three times.
"I'll name you, Jenivive..." Xaria knew this would mean double trouble. She Packed Chayton into the stroller, and held Jenivie in her arms. She's had too much emotion for one day.
