Yue bounced after his sister, not expecting them to meet this friend of her's so suddenly. It did help to bolster his spirits, though, since he was moving again, and was happy that it seemed like his sister and him got along the best....well, the best they ever had!
He slowed when he saw a lioness in front of them. He wasn't surprised, but would an adult really let them just...leave? It's not like they were even big enough to be hunters, so how would they leave their home so freely?
He had no idea just what Mwokoti is. He couldn't quite see her wings yet, and when he did saw, and knew, he would be floored.

Truth be told, Mwokoti didn't really want their company. Mortal affairs were not her business. Plus, she'd learned long ago not to even risk getting attached to them, after her mate had died, and she'd had to leave her son...
So why was she agreeing? Simple enough. She was positive they would be following her for one day, get tired of it, and want her to bring them back. If a day of tag-alongs would get Sen off her case somewhat, she'd do it. Such a bothersome little Pridelander, Sen. Mwokoti had never met someone so annoying and determined.
"Sen," she greeted formally, walking towards them. Her wings stretched out for all to see, as Mwokoti never bothered hiding her status as a Goddess, simply because lying was not something she would do.
"This is my brother, Yue. He agreed to come with us."

"Woah...."
All Yue could really look at were her wings. His golden eyes tried to take everything in, but his mind didn't believe it. Couldn't believe it. Wings! On a lioness! She...she...
"A god!" he said with a gasp, his body retreating a bit behind Sen. He had heard stories, of course, but never in his lifetime did he think of meeting one. And Sen was friends with her? He had obvoiusly underestimated her!

Their relationship had changed, yes, but it would have still been easy to make fun of him for being such a wimp. Sen was too surprised to even think of it. What was he hiding from? How embarassing!
"What are you doing?"
Mwokoti tilted her head. Her expression had always remained neutral, for many years now. If one looked close enough, they could see the amusement in her eyes. It had been a while since anyone had feared her. "It's alright," she assured him. "My domain is one of assisting mortals. I bring no harm to your kind."
"Yeah, really!" Sen huffed.

"B-but," he started as he poked out from behind his sister. "I've n-never s-seen a god before." His tone dropped to that of a whisper as if scared that anyone else would over hear him. He glanced around a bit before pulling himself together, standing up straight like a good kid and peering up at his elder, quite literally. Matters on how you looked at the world and what was in it.
"S-sorry," he said, quite embarassed with himself. "So she's going to help us?" He turned his attention back to his sister, hoping that she was right. Oh how he didn't want to get on the bad side of an immortal! He peeked back over at the goddess, noticing what he could about her. Black ears, white wings, the golden...thing around her neck. He didn't know what to think about it, but he told himself to remember. Heck, this might be the only time he'd ever run into one!

Help them? Sen shrugged. You could word it that way, she guessed. "She's our new traveling partner!" More correctly, they were hers, but whatever. "I've known her almost my whooole life! She goes everywhere! Don't you, Mwokoti?"
"Generally, yes," she responded flatly. This was the sibling Sen had ranted to her about it? It was confusing he was coming with them now, but far be it by her to make sense of such a nutjob like Sen.

"Ooohh," the cub gasped with a large amount of admiration. So they were realy going to leave, and with a goddess, no less! He felt so special, almost all of his nerves and conflicting thoughts on the matter disappeared. He was feeling completely comfortable with the situation at hand, and had even perked his little body up to peer at the goddess' wings. Wow, they were...so real!
"So when are we going?" The question was more pointed out at either one of them, since he wasn't sure which one was going to be the leader. Well, he hoped the goddess would, but knew that if he snubbed his sister off like that he'd be sure to get a smack across the head.

"I dunno," Sen mused. "I guess whenever Mwokoti feels someone to help. She has a bunch of neat powers!" The neatest was still flying, which Sen still hadn't accepted she couldn't do on her own if she just tried every tactic possible (including pestering someone who could every day).
"There is someone in the roguelands," Mwokoti told them. After this single trip they would probably want to come back here, she figured. Juveniles were always too fiery for their own good. She lowered to the ground and spread her wings out at her sides.
Sen immediatly climbed up onto her back and motioned for Yue to follow her lead. "C'mon! Wait till see you everywhere from the sky! It's so cool!"
"You're going to be too big for me to do this soon," Mwokoti reminded her, and reminded her at any possible opportunity. She was sure hauling an adult around would be a pain, even if she was bigger than a full-grown mortal.

Yue quickly stumbled over his feet as he backed up to give Mwokoti room, stunned that Sen seemed to know exactly what to do. He stared, dumbfounded for a while, until the excited call from Sen shook his mind awake, his white tail tuft bouncing behind him like a farewell flag to his home.
He bounced over to where Mwokoti was crouching, doing his best to climb onto her back as carefully as possible. After one little slip of a paw, he managed to clinb behind Sen, nervously looking at the ground below them. They weren't even up yet and he still felt a lot higher up then ever! He clinged onto his sister, gulped, and prayed that the goddess wouldn't pull anything scary.

Mwokoti had no plans to do anything 'scary'--
"Go really fast!" Sen cried joyfully.
No plans until that, anyway.
The Goddess rolled her eyes, instructing them to hold on and not worry about clawing her or things like that. Her wings began to flap, slow at first, and then faster. She ran at the same pace, before finally kicking her back paws off the ground and soaring into the air.
Sen was laughing sheerly out of happiness, since nothing was really funny about the situation. "Have you gotten slower?" she prodded Mwokoti.
"No, you're just heavier," the Goddess pointed out.
"Oh, right. What do you think, Yue?"

Yue didn't know what to think. It had all happened so quickly! At one moment, they were sitting, just waiting. In another moment, there was a sudden gust of wind that he wasn't expecting, and the next time he opened his eyes, they were up in the air!
"It's...really...high...up!" he said shakely, peering over Mwokoti's side while clinging for his little life. He didn't really know what to think, again. There was Pride Rock! Oooh, and the graveyard! And...a bunch of other things that he didn't know what they were. "And I...can see so much!"

"Of course it's high up." Sen rolled her eyes. Some people. Jeesh. She carefully stepped as back as she could without falling and stuck her tounge out as Priderock got farther and farther away.
"So long!" she yelled, a broad grin following. Later she would probably worry some and maybe even regret a little, but for the moment, she'd never felt more free in her life.
