Truth be told, the only thing Ashley had against Irelia was that she had some connection to Asher - she dressed well enough for her standards, seemed polite and/or respectful at first, and so on. That quickly faded when she took her son's hand into a more personal form of disdain, "LET HIM GO! HARPER!"
"Yo. Ashley. There's some Prozac in the car. Go crazy." Soloman quickly interjected, putting his hand over Ashley's face and pushing her back.
Which didn't help Ashley's mood, but it seemed to shut her up for now.
"Coffee sounds great!" Soloman lied through his teeth. Coffee! Who needed coffee when he had such a wide array of other 'uppers' available to him, "So, I heard about you from one of my friends. Crap, eh? My kinda crap! Can I see some?"
Harper, meanwhile, looked from Harper to Taki, back to his mother, then at the kids again. "Heya. I'm Harper... I think we go to the same school.." He glanced sidelong at Irelia and frowned after a minute.
"I remember you." He declared, somewhat darkly. "From daycare." He elaborated.

Taki gave a halfhearted wave, and looked Harper up and down, then grinned a little at Irelia's retort to Ashley. "Hiya. We all go to school together, don't we?" Surprisingly, with so many odd children in the patch, it was easy to miss the quiet cat-boy, especially since he'd taken to sitting further back in the classes.
"No coffee for me, thanks. Actually, if you don't mind, I'd like to see the pottery as well," Calder said, and trailed after Asher, trying to stay out of the way, since he was sort of intruding. Well, stay out of the way, and still make sure Asher didn't kill himself on something. The poor man was a wreck.

Asher led the way to the back room, muttering in falsetto about glazes and firing techniques and oh, how amazing he was. Irelia sighed and wondered just what someone had spiked the drinks with last night, until she seemed to be in some sort of tug-of-war with the crazy woman until she had her face smashed by the big man.
Irelia giggled, but stopped as Harper frowned. Remembering suddenly, Irelia blushed.
"Oh. Yes. I remember you. And Jace. Can we just put that behind us?" Irelia struggled for a moment, "please?"
She said the last bit a little desperately.
"Well, especially Jace. Taki, I haven't been to school yet. Daddy keeps planning to take me... and then he forgets. And forgets to tell Calder he forgot he forgot to take me. And then he forgets... Nevermind."

Soloman of course followed, listening intently, making mental notes. He had tried to make pottery in secret before, it always seemed to fail.. hands weren't steady enough or some nonsense like that.
Was probably just the drugs though.
"How many did you sell last night?" He asked, quite interested.
"Put it behind us?" Harper asked in disbelief, "You attacked me! You know." You know? He swore revenge, that's what! He was just having trouble phrasing it correctly.
He gave Taki a look and took a quick breath, "Yeah, I just started though, so I don't really remember anyone I didn't know from before.. I saw Jace the other day." He gave Irelia a pointed look. "She attacked me again." He subconsciously wiped his cheek off, scowling horridly at the cootie memories.

Irelia glared at Harper. She was TRYING to be civil, but noooooooooo.
"Fine. You don't get to play karaoke with us," Irelia took the microphone, turned on the TV and started wailing about "poor unfortunate souls."
Which was anyone with ears in a 30 block radius.
Asher smiled at Solomon. Someone seemed to be genuinely interested in his pottery.
"I sold all of the ones that I had in my collection. About ten big ones, 20 small ones." Asher walked in to his studio, about to flourish and speak about his passion when he stopped. His eyes widened, and he ran over to the middle of the room, and hid a large pot beneath a drop cloth.
"Silly me. Forgot to put one away,"

Calder followed in silence, letting Soloman do all the talking for him, and tucked his hands in his pockets absently.
Taki just blinked in confusion from Harper to Irelia. "What'd they do?" he asked, morbid curiousity forcing the question. His full attention was on Harper, now.

Soloman pouted, "Does that mean you don't have much left to show me?" He asked, looking around intently. "Hey - those kids of yours... strange. Cabbages, right?" He shook his head. He shouldn't even ask anymore.
Harper whinced at Irelia and shook his head slowly, "When we were kids, both her and this scary red haired girl attacked me when I was a baby. I was just sitting there mindin' my own business playin' with some crayons and they both jumped me, and bit me, and pulled out my hair!"
..he totally wasn't exaggerating at all.

Asher opened a small door at the back of the studio, where he kept his kiln.
"Just fired a couple of new things yesterday, before the show. I haven't had time to look at any of them, but if you're careful, you can go right ahead."
Irelia lowered her microphone, and turned to face Harper. Her eyes were full of dangerous intent and her face was bright red.
"You are a dirty, stinking liar!!! You guys jumped me because i had the best instrument!!! Jace is at fault."
Irelia felt safe in naming Jace, as she wasn't currently here. Not that that meant anything, since jace seemed to be EVERYWHERE.

Calder stood back, glancing curiously at the covered piece. "What was it you covered up, anyway, Asher?" He didn't dare try to lift the cover. He had a vague feeling that Asher might actually go the length to tackle him.
Especially since he was very hungover.
Taki sat up and his ears were all pointed forward, excitement dancing in his gaze. Maybe they'd fight. Maybe he'd get to wrestle with someone. He gave his condolences to Harper, in the meantime. "It sounds like something you'd do, Irelia..." he said, pointedly, and then glanced at Harper.

Soloman seemed quite excited, "I'll be careful!" he assured, his tone reminiscent of a child trying to convince an adult.
Harper couldn't help but giggle by then, "I am not a liar!" He laughed fully, making it clear he was. So, he stuck his tongue out at Irelia and giggled again, "An' I have way cooler instruments at my house now, too! You guys get to live in the same house?" He asked suddenly, looking at Taki. He lived with adults that might as well be children, but part of him wanted a sibling so he was somewhat jealous.
He glanced back at Irelia, "She attacks you every now and then too, huh?"

Irelia was ignoring what Harper was saying. All she could see was his maw of a mouth opening and closing like a retarded sponge and she felt this insatiable urge to break things.
"AGGGHFHHGHGHGHGHGHGGHHGGG!" Irelia leapt on Harper and pulled back her fist.
"You're all picking on me! I don't randomly jump people!!!!"
Asher ignored the screaming. Everything in his aching head seemed to be screaming, so Irelia's voice added in to the chaos was nothing new.
"Go right ahead, Soloman. I haven't sold anything in there to anyone yet, so its a free-for-all."
Asher turned to Calder. And blushed furiously at the question.
"Oh. That. Um, its not done yet! Don't you dare look." The last was said without a shred of niceties.

"Oh, no, I live just across the hall," Taki started, but then Irelia was on top of Harper, and wrestling around. It didn't take long for the little cat boy's bum to wiggle before he was pouncing on top of it all, wrestling right along with the other two.
Calder stepped away from the covered piece and stuffed his hands in his pocket. "Yessir," he said, with no sarcasm at all. "Oh, by the way... Could I talk you into making me a new vase? Taki knocked over that shelf in the kitchen and my plant is sort of sitting in a bowl on the table right now. I can pay you back for it."

(( YOU ARE PRESSURING ME NATSU! xDDD ))
Soloman could hardly believe it as he went in to look at the pottery. He could just take one, for serious? Did he misunderstand? Either way, he was experiencing a non-drug related bliss as he glanced around for the 'loudest' piece he could find.
Harper squealed when was jumped on, "HEY!" He wailed, trying to push her off him. Then, Taki jumped in, and so he just did his best to curl up into a protective ball, "THIS ISN'T FAIR I WASN'T READY! CHEATERS!" He yelled.
In case anyone was wondering, Ashley had since let herself in and was staring at the ball of kids blankly. She didn't particularly have the urge to stop anything just yet, so she just shook her head and watched.

Irelia pummeled Harper with her fists, shrieking loudly as Taki slammed in to her. Forgetting the reason WHY she had first jumped Harper, Irelia began to giggle, and she slid off Harper and started to laugh quite hard.
"Ok, ok. I'm sorry. I "invited" you guys over to Karaoke. We better do that."
Asher watched blankly as Soloman wandered around the kiln.
"Can you shoot me. Please? I have some old bullets and powder around here somewhere," Asher whined.
